Paid 18 dollars for an apple pie that was about as good as the 5 dollar pies I can buy anywhere. Very disappointed.

Stopped for pie after I happened to see the shop while driving by. I'm not usually a pie person but had a hankering. Walked away with a coconut cream and slices of the Pumpkin, Pecan, Caramel cream and Apple. The pumpkin tasted like it was actual pumpkin! Something you never find! Went to take 1 bite and ate the whole slice!! The Coconut Cream was delicious. Real whipped cream. Disappointed they don't do the traditional meringue but I've never found that in a pie shop so I'm sure it has something to do with how wet meringue gets if it's set. Haven't tried the other three slices yet, saving Pecan for last as it is my absolute favorite pie, but I'm sure they will all be equally as delicious!! After reading the other reviews, I'm definitely going to have to stop in for the lemon blueberry sour cream! read more

I haven't been there personally but my family and I were given with a Pie gift including their bread and oh man! can I tell you enough about it. Perfection oops! "Piefection" yes!. You are the best!. Can't wait to get more of those pies, you cannot simply get one. read more

If you buy a pie from here for Thanksgiving or Christmas it will not look like the picture on their website. They say that they don't have time to decorate it with all of the whip cream. It really does make a difference in taste and appearance. The banana cream is normally so beautiful. The coconut cream just had a small ring next to the crust and that was it. Aside from this, the piece does not come out easily. The crust sticks and the filling is too soft. I'm sure everyone has experienced this but lets it go due to the delicious flavor. read more

We happened to visit on Fall flavor sampling day. Pies: I liked quite a few pies, particularly the Smores & Pumpkin cheesecake, the pecan and apple flavors were ok as well. My service experience: I decided to buy a whole pie and went to stand in line to pay. There was someone in front of me who knew the people working and she started to chat and gossip with them for an *unusually* long time after she paid, especially considering they saw me as soon as I walked up. I think it was poor customer service that they didn't just move over to the side to continue their conversation so the rest of us (by then) could pay and go about our business. read more

I ordered a pecan pie for a father's day party. The pie was dry, had a layer of pecans on top of jelly and crust was doughy, not flakey. I brought the pie tin back and mentioned my complaint to the woman behind the counter. She seemed to care less about my complaint. I went here for some gift certificates and walked out with a pie to boot. I simply couldn't resist. I decided to try one of their signature pies, the Lemon Blueberry Sour Cream pie and holy smokes, it was amazing! Served it after dinner with friends and everyone loved it. As a Fathers Day whim, I wanted a Pie. Since no one in my family has the foggiest idea what to buy me, I get my own presents. I end up happy that way. This year had me wondering where I could get a good pie without driving to Rock Springs. Oddly enough I was looking for a BBQ place I thought was at Power and Brown, but instead I found "Piefection" on the map. I was instantly interested. I looked at their menu and changed my Saturday plans to fit a run out East to get a Pie. What did the trick was seeing Savory Pies. So hard to find good ones. I picked up 5 savory pies. Loved the Green Chili Pork. Would be perfect with a little thicker sauce. Then I had a hard time choosing a sweet pie. So I went with a Key Lime. Next will be the Orange. The Key Lime was Fantastic! I wish my metabolism could handle Pie for every meal. But them I'd have to move much closer to the store. I also sampled a Coconut Creme slice when I left. So tummy! I'm getting hungry again just thinking about another one as I write this. If you like Pies, you'll love it here. read more

Cheryl contacted me a few days after my review and asked me to stop in again. She told me that her pies had a 100% guarantee. I had the blueberry cheesecake, pecan pie and pumpkin pie. I ate all of the cheesecake in one sitting woth my man, it was so good. My dad sent me a message telling me how tasty the pecan pie was and how yummy it is warm with a vanilla ice cream scoop on top. I had the pleasure of receiving an apple pie from Piefection as a gift from a friend. It was, hands down, the best apple pie i have ever had. And honestly, i dont even like apple pie that much. I cant speak about their other pies, but if theyre half as good as their apple pie, theyre going to be absolutely delicious as well. I am so lucky this place is 2 miles from my house. Every pie I have tried is amazing. The green chili pork pot pie is to die for. Lemon Sour Cream Blueberry is probably my favorite, followed by the Apple Crumb. Staff is super friendly and patuent while you try to choose from the over 30 options. What is up with the orange pie? I have bought pies at this store many pies and was excited about trying the orange pie. It tasted like a key lime pie with a slice of orange on top and the only taste of orange was a weird aftertaste of orange zest after eating a slice of pie. It is $21 for this horrible pie. We stopped by to pick up something sweet on a whim and were not disappointed! It was the end of the day so selection was thin (they make all their pies fresh!) and we got the best French Silk pie my wife or I have ever had! We will be going back as often as our diets allow! read more

For the money I'm forced to give Piefection 1 star. We bought a small cherry and regular banana cream. The cherry was decent with tart cherries and a crust that wanted to be a flaky crust but came up short. Frankly, the crusts at Piefection are simply rolled too thin. My biggest disappointment was the banana cream pie. The filling lacked flavor. I wanted something special... A killer custard. It was barely OK. The bananas were way over ripe.....completely brown. I was shocked. We had one slice and have tossed the remainder in the garbage. Lesson learned and no return trips planned :( read more

my sister walked in to buy 6 pies for my tata's birthday and she was not greeted once or given any kindness. she goes up to pay for the pies and the workers were cold and harsh towards her. they said "do you think we should make her pay twice" this was completely inappropriate . not sure if they were having a bad day or because she was dark but even if they should not give that service for the price of their pies. i will not be coming back because of how upset she was over this . read more

I have gotten pies from Piefection 3 different times and have tried 5 different pies that have all been excellent. The staff is very nice and helpful. I would say the Georgia Peach is my favorite so far, but I don't think you can go wrong with any pie they make. read more

I have been buying pies at Piefection since they opened. I bought two pies yesterday. One of the pies was a Keylime and it was awful. Not authentic keylime at all. Seems like they tried to make it like a cheesecake. It did not have much keylime flavor. Everyone was disappointed. I paid $41 for two pies. The prices have gone up tremendously. They charged me an additional $4 to put whipped cream on my lemon pie rather than lemon meringue. Whipped cream topping is easier and quicker to do than meringue. I think maybe their great success has gone to their heads and they have become greedy. I am not happy with my $41 expenditure. read more
