The coffee is good but the staff leave something to be desired. Both girls working today 4/27 just had a bad attitude. Walked in and they were chit chatting which is normal but then proceeded to roll their eyes when I was ordering and didn't even thank me or say anything to me when I ordered. When I grabbed my coffee they also said nothing and kept gossiping. Just not a pleasant way to start the morning. I know they were upset we walked in and interrupted the gossiping. read more

a cute, small cafe located next to target and across from brea mall! there's a small amount of seating inside and outside. inside there were two tables that seat four people and two tables that seat two people. it seems more like a place to sit and chat, but you can definitely get some work done here if you want. free wifi and restroom if u ask for the password and key :) there were a few people in front of me so it took maybe five minutes to order, but once i did my drink came out pretty quickly! it was a warm day and i wanted something refreshing so i went with the matcha palmer (lemonade + matcha). i didn't know what to expect, but it was perfect for what i was looking for! not too sweet or sour and the matcha flavor shined through well!! the pastries looked super yummy too, i was considering that chocolate croissant but decided against it :P next time i'll try one of their coffees! read more

This cozy little coffee shop is the perfect spot to pick up a iced coffee! They're lunch time bagels were tewwww gooddd. The cream latte was my fav, but I'm definitely going back to try more of their drinks. The employees were so sweet and welcoming and helped me figure out what drink I wanted. I recently stopped by Piccolo after a Target run, and I'm so glad I went! The bagel sandwiches are DELICIOUS. I ordered the lox salmon bagel and requested to add tomato and avocado. They use fresh, high quality ingredients :) I also ordered a strawberry jade matcha, and I was beyond impressed. Most cafes make their matcha drinks wayyy too sweet, but this drink was the perfect amount of sweetness. It's creamy, smooth, and you can definitely taste the matcha. They offer coffee flights that I'm definitely going to try next time! Additionally, the workers were very friendly and welcoming. Omg I wish I would have taken a picture of what I got but I swallowed it! Lol I got the cafe Nico hot coffee ( it was small) but so amazing. I also order the avacado toast with cucumber and lemon and omg sooo bomb. It was fresh and lemon wedge just added to that freshness. Definitely recommend . They were also fast and friendly. Price wise it was a little pricey i paid $18 which is normal now I guess. Very cute and clean safe aswell. read more

Cant believe this place has no reviews yet. Stopped by Piccolo Coffee while waiting for my order from DVine (next door) and was genuinely impressed. I ordered the Iced Einspanner and Toasted Hazelnut, and both were absolutely fantastic. The Iced Einspanner was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced -- the velvety cream on top added a great touch without overpowering the coffee's depth. The Toasted Hazelnut had a warm, nutty flavor that wasn't too sweet, which I liked. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for thoughtful coffee and great service. pistachio rose latte $6.25 ~ the pairing of floral and nutty flavors is amazing!! you can really taste both the rose and pistachio. also, i love that all their syrups are house made! the rose petals for garnish is the perfect touch. they have a lot of unique flavors that i will definitely be back to try ;) there is also a wide variety of sweet and savory baked goods from croissants and danishes to buns and cakes! ~ Rating: 10/10 smokey maple latte $6.25 ~ perfect maple flavor that isn't too sweet and is balanced with some salt which is a nice touch! A Pleasant Surprise and a New Favorite Drink! I actually set out to visit Sunmerry, so I was quite surprised when I arrived to find that the location had transformed into Piccolo Coffee! While initially unexpected, it turned out to be a delightful discovery. I really appreciated the variety on their menu, which offered both classic coffee options and a good selection of matcha drinks. As a big fan of Arnold Palmers, I was intrigued and decided to try their Matcha Palmer. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I was so pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it! The flavors blended wonderfully, and it's definitely something I'll be ordering again on my next visit. Formerly Sunmerry bakery, now without the bakery. Their coffee is really good but their boba drinks are only soso. That said, Sunmerrys boba drinks are also only soso. Still, if someone in your group wants coffee, but you're a boba holdout, this is a good place. read more

I was a little hesitated to go in because this place had only one review, but to my surprise, the avocado bagel sandwich was delicious beyond my expectation. The ingredients were really fresh and lightly seasoned. Totally satisfied! I also got a strawberry matcha latte with almond milk. (Forgot to take a picture of it). It came with hint of sugar and fresh strawberry puree at the bottom. Loved it! I'm so glad Piccolo Coffee is coming to Artesia/Cerritos soon. Can't wait! read more

Piccolo is an absolute gem of a coffee shop! I was helped by two girls with glasses they were the absolute sweetest! ( forgot to get their names ). The food and pastries are top-tier. You can really taste the quality and thought put into every item, from the perfectly flaky croissants to the warm, savory bites that pair beautifully with their drinks. Speaking of drinks, their matcha is hands-down one of the best in town ! It's smooth and not overly sweet if you're a matcha fan definitely try it! The variety of drinks always hit and the baked goods from scones to bagels are really good too. Tried this for the first time today and got the following: - Belgian mocha (Hot and Iced) - Cinnamon bun latte (Iced) - Cinnamon pull apart bread Most items were good, however the review is based on mostly service and the Iced Belgian mocha. They are somewhat quick but many things came out of order of other customers such as one of our coffees came out before someone who ordered before us and the rest of our order was sporadic all with one barista doing all the coffees. Then we had to ask for the cinnamon pull apart bread which when asked they acted like we were being entitled yet appeared to just pull it out of the case. Additionally for the iced mocha, all of the chocolate was just in clumps at the bottom of the cup and not mixed in with the coffee so it tasted like just a standard iced latte (milk and coffee) except with chocolate chunks. Outside of this it's a cute coffee shop and as mentioned most items were good and would get again. Hoping to try it again and get a little bit better of an experience. read more

Formerly sunmerry, but has since rebranded to be piccolo coffee. I believe it's the same owner. They still have fantastic quality drinks and the best milk tea Boba in the area. I'm also glad they added indoor seating again. I would definitely recommend this place. I think I prefer it even more than when it was sunmerry since we have comfortable indoor seating on hot days. read more
