This place wasn't on my agenda for lunch but I ended up here because another place I wanted to go…read moreto was closed and this place had an enticing sign about their lunch special. (We saw several people come in based on this sign.) Lunch special menu (pictured) seemed like a great deal for $14.99. -They give you a lot of soup. Would've been too full if I ate (drank?) all the soup. Soup of the day was different from what they had on the menu, something with beef, noodles, and veggies. It could've had a little more salt. -For the main, you have a choice of protein with a choice of 2 sides (rice, beans, or salad). I chose steak and my friend chose pork chop. However, my steak was very, very, very salty. Almost like they drowned the meat in salt before grilling it. I did try to eat it but couldn't finish it because it was way too salty. I did share about this issue with someone who seemed to be the manager and she didn't apologize nor did anything to rectify the situation. So, I was disappointed with their customer service. My friend's pork chop was better but tasted very burnt despite it looking grilled normally. We couldn't figure out how it could be like this. We didn't mention this to the manager though. The steak and pork chop were also pretty small, so don't expect big pieces, hence the low price for this lunch special. And the next thing that made this first time experience here even more disappointing was that they add an automatic 18% tip to your bill. I guess I should've read the other reviews that mentioned this slick move. Hopefully you read mine and the other review before you go, so at least walk in knowing that they do this and what to expect for their lunch special.

It was a great experience. This is my first time at this particular location. I've been to the one…read morein Brooklyn before. The location is in a great part of Inglewood. There was ample Street parking. The curbside appeal is magnificent. The service and the servers were fantastic. They were welcoming, and they were attentive. It was a Friday night, so there was live music and that was so much fun. We made a reservation so when we arrived, they took us straight to our seat in a perfect location upfront, not too close to the music, but not too far away and across from the bar the meal was fantastic. It's very rich but fantastic. I will definitely be back because I had a fantastic time and the food was to die for.

Father's Day Brunch!…read more Four of us attended for the Father's Day brunch. After being seated I asked the waiter about the free Old Fashioned or Sangria dads were suppose to receive as per their IG post. The waiter tells me that was only for Saturday June 20th but he'll check with management. He comes back and states it was only for the 20th. I pull up the post which states 20th and 21st. He goes back to his manager and they honor it. Their IG post also mentions a surf & turf special for $59 (which is one of the main reasons I chose this restaurant). When I inquired with the waiter he stated it's only available for dinner (this is not mentioned anywhere on the post). Between the 4 of us we had several lobster tails with waffles, 1 person ordered hot honey chicken with waffles, 4 additional lobster tails and several sides of eggs with bacon. 3 waffle orders came out together and everything else came out staggered 20 - 30mins later. We repeatedly had to ask for the rest of the order. A friend had a Cadillac Margarita which was good. I attempted to order one and was told they ran out of Cointreau and Grand Marnier. How do you run out of the main ingredient for a standard margarita at 2pm on a Sunday?! Passion fruit wings along with a few other menu items were not available. All in all I wouldn't return to Czen. Although my waiter was very pleasant doing the best he could and the ambiance was nice, the restaurant was poorly prepared and brunch was poorly executed.

My friends recommended me this spot in the heart of Fort Lee. You may have to find street parking,…read moreand I would recommend a reservation on the weekends. The inside is super cute, and the display of the food is top notch. - Hand-roll set, (5/5): very worth your money! this entire set can definitely fill you up, and each of the hand rolls are so unique in flavor and super filling. I love the banchan as well, and my favorite is the edamame, which I think or flavored with miso butter?? - Pork Cutlet set, (4.5/5): got curry on the side as extra for $5, because it doesn't feel right to have tonkatsu without curry! The cutlet itself was fried very well, and it was not oily at all. it was on the sliiightly drier side, but I recommend getting it with the curry - Yuzu Cheesecake, (3.75/5): can taste the yuzu here, but the texture itself was a bit crumby, and I prefer a creamier texture. the serving size was also a bit small, and we felt that the strawberry didn't really pair well with the cheesecake overall I would come here again to try their other menu items! I heard their dons were pretty good. that's all from me thanks for reading :^)

Street parking is available, and I believe it's free after 6 PM. The ambience was really nice, with warm lighting that made the place feel cozy, and the staff was friendly! We ordered a ton of food, but everything came out at once, so our tiny table was packed. For drinks, we tried the yuzu, lychee, and grapefruit sparkling drinks, and there's a reason grapefruit is their bestseller!! Very refreshing! The strawberry matcha was also really good, earthy and not overly sweet. For appetizers, the toro tartare was tiny but bursting with flavor, and the chicken karaage was perfectly crispy outside and juicy inside! We also got the motsu nabe and sukiyaki nabe, both with generous portions of meat and veggies and delicious, distinct broths. We did order hand rolls (not pictured): salmon, scallop, scallop truffle, ikura, and wagyu! YOLO on the Wagyu handroll ($15) but it was good! The star of the show though - A5 Wagyu Bibimbap!! Highly recommend!! They mix everything together while the stone bowl is still hot, slightly cooking the wagyu. The overall flavors: buttery, fragrant, and slightly creamy with a hint of truffle. I'd come back just for this!! Our table of five was able to finish everything! Honestly would've given 5 stars, but we were asked to leave because our reservation had a 2 hour limit, even though it was later in the evening and there were empty tables around us. I understand time limits when it's busy, but it felt unnecessary. Overall, delicious food and cozy vibes! Would come back, especially for that wagyu bibimbap!

Lacked flavor and filling was too much cabbage. The sauce was really good though. Paneer Manchurian was perfect balance of flavors, loved it. It comes with side of rice. We also ordered famous Hakka noodles, these were the best we have had so far. They had that perfect wok charred flavor. Like other asian places, they offer chili paste on the table so you can customize your dishes. They have about 6-7 tables, but overall it's more like a take out place. The owner is a nice guy. He offered hot tea as we waited for food. Food took sometime, which we did not mind at all.

Its a very small restaurant, limited seating. Hot and sour soup was good, and chicken lollipop was ok ( could use more flavor) . Now for the entres: We got the sczechuan chicken , chicken chili dry and the hakka noodles. We thought it would be strips or cubes of chicken battered but this was not the case. The entrees both use a meatball type of thing as the protein, and was not good at all. The portion of the dishes was so small. The chili dry had more of black pepper taste than anything. There was also a plastic taste in it ( im assuming they store the sauce in a plastic container ?) The sczechuan chicken had a tangy and strange flavor. The hakka noodles had absolutely no flavor but the only thing with a decent portion. Awful food, so mad we spent $75 here ( which is so not appropriate for the location and food). So disappointed.
