Amazing ambience, great food, and excellent service. Started with the must have dumplings and imperial rolls. They have a whole branzino for 2 on their summer menu that is to die for....paired with Japanese eggplant, smacked cucumbers, house made tostones and a classic green papaya salad. Yummmm, don't sleep on the bread pudding and espresso martini combo to end ‍ read more

I don't know where to start! Everyone from the lovely host and bartender to the outstanding waiter Carolina who was so patient and attentive. The food was delicious and will be back. Nice vibes and decor created a wonderful ambiance. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE!! it's so overpriced & they lied to us about the portion size. they said the sancocho pho ($75!!) could feed the 4 of us but it was more of a portion for one person we asked for extra noodles and it was a tiny bowl for $7 and they didn't tell us they would charge us!!! pho isn't authentic at all. actually insane how expensive this place is and they automatically add a 20% gratuity on top of the bill. read more

I Came to Phuc yea for dinner one tuesday evening eager to fill my belly with some pho. I was a bit disappointed to find that there was no pho on the menu, and that it was only being served for Sunday brunch. I thought this decision was a tad elitist; why not let the proletariat enjoy some savory broth on the weekday. However, the dumplings were very good. For the main course, I opted for the dish that most closely resembled pho, the oxtail. I have two words for this dish, Phuc No! It's two bones with measly amounts of meat on them in a broth that is lacking in flavor. I appreciated the melange of greens that accompanied the meat , but this dish feels incomplete for $28 and could definitely use some noodles. read more

It's probably the best food I've had in a while. Their char siu cod IS TO DIE FOR!! I made it a point to visit here everytime i'm in Miami from now on. The servers were incredible as well & love that Ani (co-owner) came by to see us. The place is also very visually appealing. read more

I wouldn't go so far as to say phuc no (I had to do it)... But instead of using their nice little patio away from the street noise, they put us in some boot-leg area right in front of the restaurant where the noise from their annoyingly loud speaker is only drowned out by the noise of the million cars on the street. Net-net, that sucked... the food was good, but too hard to enjoy when you can't hear each other speak. read more

This is one of the most interesting spots in Miami, and a mainstay of 2010's food wave that kicked it all off in Miami. You know a foodie if they can tell you they've been to Phuc Yea. Truly. Always great cocktails and imaginative Cajun/Vietnamese dishes - amazing energy all around. We literally love this place. read more

This place has been on my list for a while since it is listed as a Michelin Bib Gourmand and I'm glad that I got to try during its Miami spice dinner special (regular menu is a bit on the pricier side). I got the seasonal crudo (kalamansi agua chile with crispy wonton and trout roe) and spicy dumplings as appetizer. The crudo was light and great starter. The dumplings were alright to be honest. It was served cold and I've had better dumplings elsewhere. For main course, I got the roasted Cornish hen which was delicious and had the perfect spice level. I wished it was paired with rice though since I'm used to eating rice when eating with Asian dishes. It also has a lot of bones, just to be warned. Dessert was this coconut, warm dish (name I forgot but I liked it). At the end, I was pleasantly full but not stuffed. During dinner, I noticed that the music was quite loud, and it didn't really fit the ambiance of the restaurant (pop music and rap). I would have preferred the music to be a bit softer and it to be non-lyrical because it was distracting me at first. Service was a bit slower but it was also a busy night. This place is more of a fusion restaurant rather than a traditional Vietnamese restaurant. read more

This Asian fusion restaurant in Miami is probably one of the unique experience combining traditional southeastern Asian cuisine with modern American/french delights. The restaurant is tapas-style which means each item comes in smaller portions so you can enjoy more. However, the only problem was that I came with a group of 5 other guys who are aching for some grub. As you can imagine, after ordering 8 items off the menu including the smoke shortrib, I was filled to maybe 70-75% full. The PY noodles and the duck confit were the highlights for me and it helped to make me feel full. The decor inside the restaurant was very interesting and photo-worthy on your Instagram. read more

We had a very bad experience at the restaurant Phuc Yea in Miami yesterday. My partner and me, we reserved our table one month in advance because we were traveling from Mexico City; however, when we arrived at the restaurant on time (we were booked at 7 pm) they made us wait 55 minutes to get our table. And when we asked to the hostess what was it was taking so long, she was rude and seems not to care. Finally, after the 55 minutes wait, we got our table and we asked to speak to the manager, but the answer was that he was too busy. So, we left. It's unbelievable that a restaurant like that doesn't respect his diners time. read more

Carolina is the best! Ask for her!!! She's so sweet and so helpful and honest!! The ambiance is also a vibe!

We arrived at Phuc Yea on a rainy day for brunch and they were sitting at the bar so we sat there to eat. The service was so amazing. The bartender was really amazing and recognized that it was our first time so made some great recommendations. The music I will also add was so great. I think because it was a Saturday it was brunch and there was a DJ so we were grooving while we were eating, good food. The drinks were also amazing. I would highly recommend this place as the food the drinks the service was top-notch. read more

I was super excited to visit this place. But once seated it quickly dissolved. My waiter was almost non existent and super rude when he did interact with me and my table. Food orders were missed and he was very nonchalant. I was so overwhelmed and decided to speak to the manager and she totally was apologetic and helpful. From there the night got better. My waiter was reassigned and the new one was very kind and attentive. Only of the 4 things i ordered actually came out. Since the prior server didnt ring them up. So the manager made sure we got them and was able to more so enjoy the night. The noodles were yummy and a large amount. The dumplings were delicious and the chicken was good as well. The drink wasn't that great so I will definitely not try it again. Maybe another one. The cajun rice is nice as well. Decor is definitely instagrammable so it is a bit popular now . Not sure if I would go here again it was more nays than yays for me read more

F____k yeah ... ooops I mean Phuc yea. I really thought my wife was pulling my legs when she ask me if we can dine or even try their food prior to coming here. Of course my response was phuc no jokingly. I'm not too crazy out fusion style Asian / info Chinese style food. (Spicy food). I really thought that this was just a joke at her end when she forwarded the link. I didn't think about it until we got here in Miami. I believe we it was our 2nd night and we just came back from Miami. Oh we're still in Miami . We just finished Superblue we decided to come here and try their food. We played it safe and tried their PY noodles which is Parmesan garlic butter noodles. It was good, my wife thinks it's a little dry but was still good. We also shared their Carmel wings, this was cooked right, very tasty. The place was booked, we did a walk in and the only available seat was at the bar. This place is formal dining inside and they also have outside area to dine. It's a 3 stories building and it's weird that the entrance was from the parking lot. Good food good eat Phuc Yea !!! read more

I thought the food was OK overall. The staff was very friendly and the ambience was cool. However, the food was just mediocre and lacking. I expected more. My favorite dish was probably the noodles but it wasn't anything extraordinary, felt like it was something I can whip up at home. (Noodles, butter, and cheese). My least favorite was the octopus curry.. it was just not good. The curry and octopus didn't go together and the octopus didn't taste fresh at all. The Bao bun (pork belly) was good but no different from other Bao buns I've tried before. Oysters were just alright. I probably won't be coming back unless they have a happy hour special going on. read more

One of our MOST favorite unique and beyond delicious fusion spots in all of Miami!!! If you're looking for a hipster-vibey atmosphere with traditional Vietnamese fusion (with a twist) you will Love it here!!! FOOD is always top notch: MUST HAVE ORDER is the spare rib for the table ($60) with add on bao buns ($7) ... we get this every time. Plus some form of curry noodles (favorite is the duck confit red curry). Also highly recommend dumplings too! DESSERT: bread pudding which I think they recently changed or unproved and it was delish! COCKTAILS here are out of this worlddddd!! (We always order the "say gay". SERVICE was so so above and beyond all because of Arionne, who I asked the name of because her bubbly personality, eagerness to help and knowledge of the menu was absolutely incredible! read more

Came here off the recommendation of my Sister. And honestly she has been on point with the recommendations of where to eat lately. But with Phuc Yea this is probably one of my favorite Asian Fusion spot I been to. Everything that we ate here was really good. We had the Pork Bao, the Fried Rice the chicken wings and the Fried Chicken. All were very delicious, and my favorite out all that was the Pork Bao and fried rice. on a side note you know the fried rice was good if my kid ate all the leftover we had. I forgot what drink we had but I do remember it was good. We sat outside which was very nice because it was a cool summer night in Miami. The way they decorated the back was real nice. So definitely will be back again. read more

Came here with my group for a banger final meal to end our Miami trip. This place looked like it had amazing pho, but as we sat down and looked at the menu the sides and drinks caught our eyes as well. I really loved the truffle rice, summer roll, and pork buns, as well as my drink (an espresso Negroni). Portions for certain things like the summer roll seemed a bit too small given the price, but other things like the buns and rice came with larger portions. Of course the pho itself would be the make or break of the night, and I'm happy to report that it was delicious! The bowl was enormous so even with a group of five we had plenty each. One thing I will say is that it was not really reminiscent of pho I've had before, it had more of a beef noodle soup crossed with pho thing going on? But I think for a fusion place it is ok to take those types of liberties as long as the food turns out tasty, which it did. The vibe inside is awesome. It has perfect dim lighting, nice seats and tables, and people there were mostly dressed very nice. They also had some very... interesting wall art you can see in my pictures lol. There was also a person near the entrance selling handmade clothes, which was kind of cute. Service was a bit on the slow side, but overall our waiters were attentive and friendly and did a good job of explaining each dish as we asked questions. Overall I think Phuc Yea is a fantastic Asian fusion restaurant! Definitely give it a try if and when you're in Miami. read more

My girlfriend and I went on a Saturday night and honestly I wasn't expecting to make a reservation but it was pretty busy. We had to wait 45 min so we decided to eat at the bar, which made me think that everything happens for a reason because the bartender Rolando was amazing. He was in tune with our needs and was very friendly. The food was delicious. The Green Papaya Salad was refreshing which prepared my taste buds for my entree. The Duck Confit was mouthwatering, the pineapple at first threw me off but after tasting it, the sweetness from the pineapple counterbalanced the spicy curry. The ambiance is tasteful and overall modern. My girlfriend and I will definitely be coming again and trying the Pho next time. read more

Day started a little off. Mother's Day celebrar with my husband and children. My husband reserved over a week ago. Arrived 15 minutes early as they were opening. Joined all the other parties waiting at the door to be seated. Got to the hostess showed her our reservation only to be told that the system deleted our reservation (what does that even mean). They said the same thing to at least 3 other parties. Did they overbook the restaurant for Mother's Day? Not too bad we were seated one minute after our reservation. Has she never told us about the deleted reservation? We would've never known. Somethings are better left unsaid. Our waiter was great. Attentive, made sure my bottomless mimosas were constantly flowing!! You can also opt for bloody Mary's, Bellinis, and tropimosas (choose mango, passionfruit or guava). We ordered edamame hummus, seared octopus ( an amazing explosion of flavor), fried chicken, chicken, wings, French toast. My husband Was frightened When his French toast arrived because it looked so different than any other French toast I've seen see below in the picture. But he finished by saying it was the best French toast he has ever had! We had no room for dessert. The Vietnamese coffee was a hit as well with a full shot. Glass of condensed milk included. My only disappointment was that all the other tables received Mother's Day gifts and I did not. read more

The good; happy hour food (not drinks) at the bar is decent, the bao buns were good, noodles were good. The bad; the menu says "bottled beer happy hour" for $5; however, they don't bring you the bottle, instead they bring two narrow 8 oz glasses. Pretty weird, and when you ask the bartender to leave you the bottle, he refuses. This place wants to be; but it is just another Miami "trendy" spot. How does a Vietnamese place doesn't have pho on the menu? First and last; phuc no! read more

Been wanted to try Phuc Yeah for quite some time so finally made reservations for my friend and I when she came to visit. Reservations were at 9pm and we arrived a few minutes early. We walked in and it wasn't packed, but there was no hostess and the people rolling or preparing something next to the hostess stand did not acknowledge us. When the hostess appeared, she said she would let us know when the table was ready. We sat in front of the hostess stand waiting. 20 minute go by and I decide to look at my phone. A text was sent that the table was ready. Wish she would have said that's how she would let us know. After some more time waiting and discussing with the hostess, we were seated in the most inconvenient seats for servers to move in and out of. Seeing a few other tables available, we asked to move. Finally situated, we order our food. It takes a while to get there. The spicy dumpling weren't really spicy but more on the sweet side and a bit over cooked. The short rib was good. Also sweet, so I was glad we got the pickled cucumbers to counteract it and it made a nice bao bun topping. The short rib itself was $68 which was nice and tender but not sure the price and the service will bring me back here anytime soon. Also, they send an email the day of the reservation saying parking is limited and to take Uber but I noticed they had a lot in the back and at 9pm, would not have been hard to find a spot. read more

I live near here and when some friends were meeting up one chilly night, I decided to join. I came specifically for their happy hour. I had two drinks, which was fine, and $8 ea HH pricing. Yet my check came to $22...? They charged me for water (?) which I was never told when I asked for a glass. They also add 20% gratuity to every check...? Umm, last time I checked the location this isn't South Beach nor Brickell so I'm not sure where that is coming from at all. But, the added gratuity definitely explained why the service was so bad. Our waitress seemed to have an attitude since the moment we sat down. Yes, we came just for the HH, which was not that great to begin with, but if that bothers you I suggest you find another line of work. There were so many bad service experiences in that one night to list, but the best was when they asked us to walk over to the door from the patio because "the wifi doesn't work on the patio"...seriously? You think you are bougie enough to charge for tap water and add a 20% gratuity to every single check, but your wifi doesn't extend to your patio area!? The only reason it wasn't one star was simply because at least the drinks were strong and the patio was cute, but other than that I will never again be back here, even though it is a 5min walk from my house. Auto gratuity is a huge turn off for me, especially when you get terrible service because the staff know they don't have to even try. But, after this last visit, I am not even curious to try the food. read more

Best place ever. Carolina and David are the best bartenders. Highly recommend this place.

I had originally came here to check out the Miami Spice Dinner but ended up ordering from the regular menu. This restaurant is such a cute vibeeee. I went on a Saturday night and they had a DJ there playing some bangers and setting the mood. The inside is cute and perfect for date night. The food was pretty good. If you like garlic, I definitely recommend starting with the PY noodles, it's a little small but it's delicious. I was a little let down with the sweet n sour pork bao and crispy pork masitas, the pork was too hard and chewy. We also ordered the smoked short ribs and not only was this delicious but it was hugeeee. You can definitely share this with 3-4 people. We also ordered the caramelized chicken wings and these were pretty good as well. Service was a little slow but they were slammed so that's understandable. I def will be coming back to check out the brunch menu. read more
