The chicken wings were cooked exactly how we wanted. Crispy! A little bit of seasoning would have made this top notch. The ambiance was a bit dark and cold but there wasn't a lot of people to fill the room and that may have been why. A nice pho spot in brick of all places. Great spot!

My second time at the restaurant. The first time I dined I was very impressed. The food came out quickly and tasted fantastic! Or should I say it was "Photastic"! Service was too notch as well. The restaurant is run by real Vietnamese family who knows what they are doing. I enjoyed the feeling of being like I was part of their family. Second time I visited was almost the same. The service was also very quick. My pho came out hot like it was supposed to be with perfectly cooked noodles. The soup base this time kind of fell flat and was not as tasty as my first visit. Still enjoyable though! One small detail that I enjoy when going to an authentic Vietnamese restaurant is when the restaurant has Vietnamese music playing in the background.

In an unassuming plaza in the middle of brick, I wouldn't have come here if not for Yelp. It's very clean inside, a bit dark, but that might also have been for the very rainy day we came on. We ordered the chicken wing appetizer and two bowls of pho. Everything came out quickly, and hot. The chicken wings were cooked perfectly, though without any seasonings, as it was meant to dip the wings in the sauce. I wish they did use a seasoning though, because without it, they're a bit bland, but duck sauce didn't seem to compliment how good the wings were cooked. The bowls of pho were offered with either chicken or beef broth. Enough noodles and toppings to fill you up, but not too full, I liked how they had reusable utensils, and service was so quick and formerly.

We've been on the hunt for some good Pho ever since we moved to South Jersey and we found it here. The Pho here is Pho-tastic !!! and close to home to boot. Inside this spot has a nice, clean, simple atmosphere and the young staff is super friendly. For our first visit we ordered some Deep Fried Chicken Wings to start. These were not only huge, they were crispy, juicy and delicious. Now as for the main reason we came, the Pho. My wife and I both ordered the Pho with round steak and brisket. The Pho was wonderful, served in a big bowl with tender meat in a super flavorful broth. Definitely ranked up there with some of the best we've tried. So great to know that whenever we have a hankering for some Pho, we now have a go to spot.

Authentic & Great Food Some great pho! We've been missing pho from back home, so we did some research and decide to try this place out. We were not disappointed. What the place lacks in interior atmosphere it makes up for with great flavor. At the end of the day that's really why you go to a restaurant anyways. Definitely recommend trying this place out if you're looking for some great soup. My husband was not feeling well and this really hit the spot. Everything was made fresh and came out piping hot, except the boba which came out freezing cold--as it should.

I have been to Photastic several times and each time has been an amazing experience. I absolutely love their Pho and their Boba with it makes an incredible combo. The service is some of the friendliest I've experienced eating out and I can't say one negative thing about them!

Pho-tastic is fantastic. We had a great lunch here. Started with the hot wings which were extra crispy and piping hot! Yum. Sauce on side was ok. It was a cold day with bitter winds, and the perfect day for soup. Pho is so much more than that. We tried the #11 and chicken broth with shrimp. Both were great broths and filled with beef and shrimp, respectively. Delicious noodles, fresh scallions, basil, sprouts, lime, and jalapeno. I devoured the whole bowl. This is a small, family run business which really hits the spot. Very clean, with great service. Reasonably priced!!!

Here in Regal Plaza, you will find Vietnamese cuisine. For all the times I came to the plaza, I…read morealways wanted to go there as a final stop. Considering another eatery, I discovered that it was temporarily closed, which led me to go this eatery instead. Brand: 4/5 Vietnam Bistro is a Vietnamese restaurant in Regal Plaza in Howell Township. I like how the brand maintains a form easy to understand, from the name to the logo showing a bowl of food with chopsticks. The sign outside is itself simple in design albeit inconsistent, since the font does not match the one on the logo. You will also find lots of artwork decorating the walls and plastic plants. Website: 4/5 Vietnam Bistro immediately invites you to their website with the opening of B-Roll footage of food on sticks prepared on a grill. While you do have access to the menu, only a few of the items have images. Pertaining to the overall design of the website, it makes use of images and B-Roll footage with good placement, giving the entire website a good presentation with every scroll. Wait Time: 5/5 I experienced no issues or delays, as I received the beverage and the meal quickly. Ambiance: 4/5 You will hear Vietnamese pop playing throughout the establishment with a soothing volume. While the tables did have a small size, they make up for it by including containers filled with eating utensils with Vietnamese terms on it, which I found quite fascinating. Plenty of space exists separating the tables, and the establishment had a large capacity to accommodate many people. The seats felt slightly comfortable. The menu selection offers you a glimpse into authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Food: 5/5 I ordered the BánhMì Thịt Nướng with grilled pork packed between two buns, with Thai Tea. The crunchy baguette held its form as the grilled pork became the most prominent flavor. The flavor of the well-cooked pork especially came out with the addition of barbecue sauce. The vegetables, especially the cucumbers, gave it a balanced taste. The Thai Tea had a robust, tangy flavor. This entire course brought me into a pleasant mood, for not only did I get to try my first Vietnamese meal, but the tea especially gave me a decent experience that lasted throughout the day. The wait time it took to cook the meal matched the quality perfectly, and I can clearly see how they would feature on the website as a menu item. The service puts care into their menu items, and they keep within the spirit of Vietnamese cuisine. Service: 5/5 The staff made sure that I had a well-attended experience. I do not know if he was the owner, but he ensured that I knew what I wanted by offering me not just the menu but also a tablet showing the images of the items. Although they had a randomized order, I can definitely understand that a non-Vietnamese American like myself would probably not know much about Vietnamese cuisine. It is also a sign of a technologically aware establishment. Based on my first impressions, I will say that the service matches the quality of the brand, and they care about the food for the website does not lie when it claims it serves food with "love and care." The service ensured that I received my order quickly, even by piecemeal with the Thai Tea first and the Banh Mi second. Nothing about the ambiance tried my patience as I awaited my order. Cost: 4/5 Taking into consideration every aspect of this business, I will say that everything seemed to coalesce perfectly. As far personal suggestions, I would like to see more images of the menu items on that tablet and on that website. For such a simple yet effective logo, I would like to see it reflected on the sign outside. I would say that I would have given the cost three stars, the fact that I had a good first impression on Vietnamese cuisine means that it piqued my curiosity to the point I would want to come back in the future. With all that being said, I will say that the price of the Banh Mi and the Thai Tea was ultimately worth it. Rating: 5/5 Stars I can see how this Vietnamese restaurant would continue to represent Regal Plaza. Coming to Vietnam Bistro, I would consider it a first option for lunch or dinner. With the brand, you know what you are getting yourself into; and with the service, you will never feel lost. I wish more ethnic-themed restaurants would have as much accommodations when it comes to their menu items as Vietnam Bistro. Recommend To... In Aldrich Plaza, you will find the culinary realm of Asia welcoming you inside…read more Brand: 5/5 Asian Harbor is a pan-Asian restaurant in Aldrich Plaza that offers Japanese and Thai cuisines. On the outside, it may not look splendid (only because you have not stepped inside). Concerning the interior, you are welcomed with two portraits the moment you walk inside. It gives you an idea about the simple aesthetics that pervades the establishment. You will find many geisha portraits upon the walls. At the corner, you will find a section that directly sells the seafood. Indeed, the unassuming appearance of a restaurant in a shopping plaza gives way to an interior filled with quiet joy. Website: 4/5 It has a basic design, with the theme typically used for restaurants leading you down to the description and a separate page for the menu. However, it had no images accompanying the menu items. Nevertheless, it functions well enough. Wait Time: 5/5 I experienced no interruptions while awaiting my order, which came quickly. Ambiance: 5/5 I do like the blue, twinkly lights upon the upper parts of the wood-paneled walls that gave the establishment a calm, cool vibe, along with the smoothly low volume of the pop music. There is a large circular light at the center of the ceiling, which I presume is turned out at night or during special events. The seats felt comfortable and the booths and the tables had a tolerable space. Be advised that it is authentically Asian in the sense they do not have forks or knives, rather only chopsticks. So, please know how to use them before coming. Food: 5/5 I ordered the Dream Roll, which is a specialty roll consisting of steamed shrimp, avocado, cucumber, and topped with lobster salad, seaweed salad, and honey sauce. I did enjoy the shrimp which gave it a hearty taste along with the avocado, seaweed, and honey sauce. I should forewarn that their wasabi did get pretty zesty, for it was not the diluted store-bought version (and most certainly not pistachio ice cream). Even as I ate half of a sushi roll, it still held its form and did not completely break apart. Clearly, this specialty roll is a dream encapsulated within a roll. I also had a side of water that came free of charge, which I wish more restaurants start doing more for a liquid that takes little effort to acquire. The prevalence of seafood and vegetables managed to help me get a more healthy meal. Service: 5/5 The owner served during a slow time and accommodated me throughout my time there. Worth The Money?: 5/5 The allure of the specialty rolls and the presence of Japanese and Thai food reflects the brand of Asian Harbor perfectly. Food can definitely speak in a universal language through the sensation of taste. What Asian Harbor tells me is that it has a lot to offer Aldrich Plaza. The website I would say does not evoke the aesthetics well, particularly considering how Americans typically know little about China and Japan (and even little about the rest of Asia). It would help to perhaps teach some Japanese or Thai words and history on the site. At no point did the wait for the Dream Roll feel cumbersome when accounting for the ambiance. The soothing atmosphere made it easy for me to wait as I wrote, and it fits the brand quite well. Just as well, the atmosphere let me immerse myself into the Dream Roll, as though the experience itself was a dream. Overall, I could find nothing seriously wrong about Asian Harbor. My experience was too pleasant to give it a low score. Considering the status of the Dream Roll as a Specialty Roll, I expected it to have a high price, which comes with the ingredients packed into it. I would absolutely consider it my first choice for Asian cuisine, and I would say that the price is worth it. Rating: 5/5 Stars I enjoyed my first visit to Asian Harbor, and I hope it is not my last, since I have yet to try more sushi rolls. Recommend To... Xina is very special and has become our go-to for this annual event. For those who prefer hot entrees, their menu is creative and abundant, and everything is fresh as can be. I saw the salmon marinated in miso and served with black coconut sticky rice entree that looked incredibly enticing, and I heard that it was beyond delicious. For those of us who can't wait to savor their sushi and sashimi offerings, we wait all year for the freshest and the best! A few of us don't order the standard tuna, yellowtail, and salmon... we go for what's less of an American's choice, and this time around we SAVORED (amongst other things) the sweet shrimp (amaebi) which are cold-water northern prawns with a delicate, sweet flavor and creamy texture. Most people don't even know. The extra delight is that the top half/delicate shell and head of each shrimp is lightly deep fried and presented alongside the shrimp - a delicious accompaniment with a bit of umami flavor. Xina is the ruler against which I measure the goodness of every other sushi bar I visit during the year. The Best.
