Food is great as was service, but do not dine in! They was a young girl from the staff practicing her dancing with the music super loud. Even after I asked them to lower, she barely lowered it and it was very loud. They also had restaurant music playing at same time and a TV on which made it nerve wracking! if you want an enjoyable meal in a non ADD setting, do not dine in. Our waiter was super friendly and food was really good but this loud music the girl was playing made for a very unpleasant experience and the staff did not seem to care she was doing this. read more

Service was great food was top notch and the ambience is very inviting will definitely return when ever in town

Staff was very nice, the food and service? Terrible. I was asked to put my tea bag ( that I had squeezed out and put aside) back into my cup for a second cup of tea. Not kidding. I was told to reuse the teabag by the waiter. The sushi rolls were terrible (we didn't eat them) and the fried dumplings very greasy. The staff was very kind and asked if we wanted to replace the sushi rolls with something else, but we opted out. Just do not understand the high ratings for this place. I never give reviews, but this was just a doozie! Sorry nice people at Kumo, maybe your food was just not to our taste, but you cannot ask people to reuse their teabag in customer service. read more

Wonderful staff, fresh sushi with traditional high quality. Clean and modern fun interesting restaurant with the carousel of food passing by the tables! I intend to become a regular customer! read more

Shrimp with tacos was nice & crispy considering I ordered takeout which was quick & the food was hot.

Always delicious food, Sushi, Chinese, Thai/ Always done right; fresh and served with a smile from the friendly staff! I love this place! Lots and lots of takeout lined up while I dined in. read more

A small but cozy spot with delicious food and kind service. I'll definitely recommend this place to everyone.

I got the lunch special and wasn't impressed. The typical over sauced beef and broccoli where the beef is slimy. you can tell this is not food the workers eat as they don't care about it. The PFR had a strange taste reminiscent of heavy bay leaf. read more

Delicious food in a small and very clean restaurant. We tried different Chineese, Japaneese and Tai dishes and all were wonderful. The service was outstanding and very friendly. We will be coming back! read more

Pretty good! I ordered sushi later in the evening. I thought the fish quality was ok and kinda a lot of rice on the rolls. I do like they have a lot of options though and create cool combos. Maybe it was just the day I ordered? My fav out of the three (even though it doesn't look the prettiest - I forgot the flash and also started eating! Lol) was the Drama Queen roll for flavor. read more

I was surprised by my son for an early Mother's Day lunch here. I have to say - you can seriously eat a lot of yummy sushi here and not break the bank. I absolutely thought the rolls were delicious and the fish fresh, I will say-I am clearly not a crème cheese person at all- when it comes to my sushi preference, but that variety here was worth giving a first time try, I was pleasantly surprised- definitely worth giving it a try. They have a lot of other dishes to choose from, if sushi isn't something you are craving, rest assured there is something here for everyone. We both agreed that next time we will bring the rest of the family and order 2 of the Love Boat's, for all of us, I know it may seem like too much food, but our family really enjoys Sushi dinners together and, this will fit the bill. Clean restaurant, friendly staff and food was delicious. read more

We were going to dine in , but a young lady had her music playing loud and dancing in the middle of the place..which is not large at all!! To be honest not appropriate... So we decided to eat at home. Obviously!! The food was good , especially the dumplings and egg rolls. read more

Place is small but nice. Service was excellent! The hibachi started off well with great salad & wonton soup (in place of miso) even the boneless spare ribs were plump and delicious. However the hibachi steak was medium well and the shrimp were overcooked. The sauce had a strange taste to it. My pineapple shrimp dish was okay, the sauce really made it have a nice taste! The seafood lomein was superb as well as the chicken yaki udon. Even the Vietnamese steak was very very tasty. Overall I do recommend this restaurant, just not for hibachi!!! Xoxo read more

Food is ALWAYS amazing. Accurate and precise and always exactly what I order. Highly recommend especially their poke bowls!!!

We ordered take out, so I can't comment on the decor or staff, however it was the evening after a big storm, and Asian food was voted the way to go, the choices available were plentiful, and we made a list of eclectic items. First the time to deliver they beat the estimated time by over 20 minutes, (thanks to the seamless driver) despite the dreadful conditions he arrived with hot food and a smile! Our order contained Shu mei, a variety of sushi rolls, a seafood Mei fun, General chow chicken and some regular Sushi. This was the first time ordering delivery and having some left over, great sized portions. The food excellent, tasty and fresh. Bottom line, we will reorder, and more importantly visit in person. Thanks keep it up. read more

Excellent food & service 5 star! Ambiance family friendly and welcoming! My favorite spot since moving here 2 years ago!

The food is very flavorful! I've enjoyed their sushi as much as I've enjoyed their Chinese food! The only critical thing I can say is that they don't offer small portions(pint size), everything is large quart sized. read more

First time trying this restaurant. I'm totally about supporting small business' moving forward. Done with the corporate agenda I got the Blackened Tuna Roll and a side of seaweed salad. Customer service and ordering was easily and friendly. Service was fast. I honestly don't even mind the fact that we can't dine in right now, as long as we still have restaurants like this that can actually remain open. Sushi was VERY good. No tendons in the big chunks of tuna! Seaweed salad also good, just a little dry. Will definitely recommend and definitely be back. read more

QUALITY QUALITY QUALITY! This place is one of the best most authentic Asian cuisines in the area. The women who works the front desk and serves is absolutely one of the nicest people I have ever met. The ambiance feels like I stepped into a side street of Japan. The lunch bento box was amazing along with the sushi !! Everything is so fresh. This is real Asian food. Wonderful experience and overall fantastic taste, texture, and flavor. read more

In a takeout desert such as Brick/Toms River, this place is an oasis. I moved to the area in March of 2017 and have been trying to find a decent Chinese place since. We went to just about every place we could find but they were always lacking in some way... poor rice, poor entrees, under-seasoned, etc. On a whim, we decided to give this place a go. We had already eaten so much bad takeout that our tastebuds were used to it so we figured "why not?". Boy were we surprised. The fried rice was outstanding, the entrees perfectly cooked and seasoned, the Rangoon is the best in the area, and the portions are commendable. We have gotten both take-out and delivery, and the quality is always consistent (delivery was faster than estimated too). We have not had the pleasure of dining in yet but look forward to it in the future. read more
