Even after I asked them to lower, she barely lowered it and it was very loud. They also had restaurant music playing at same time and a TV on which made it nerve wracking! if you want an enjoyable meal in a non ADD setting, do not dine in. Staff was very nice, the food and service? Terrible. I was asked to put my tea bag ( that I had squeezed out and put aside) back into my cup for a second cup of tea. Not kidding. I was told to reuse the teabag by the waiter. The sushi rolls were terrible (we didn't eat them) and the fried dumplings very greasy. The staff was very kind and asked if we wanted to replace the sushi rolls with something else, but we opted out. Just do not understand the high ratings for this place. I was surprised by my son for an early Mother's Day lunch here. I have to say - you can seriously eat a lot of yummy sushi here and not break the bank. I absolutely thought the rolls were delicious and the fish fresh, I will say-I am clearly not a crème cheese person at all- when it comes to my sushi preference, but that variety here was worth giving a first time try, I was pleasantly surprised- definitely worth giving it a try. They have a lot of other dishes to choose from, if sushi isn't something you are craving, rest assured there is something here for everyone. We both agreed that next time we will bring the rest of the family and order 2 of the Love Boat's, for all of us, I know it may seem like too much food, but our family really enjoys Sushi dinners together and, this will fit the bill. Place is small but nice. Service was excellent! The hibachi started off well with great salad & wonton soup (in place of miso) even the boneless spare ribs were plump and delicious. However the hibachi steak was medium well and the shrimp were overcooked. The sauce had a strange taste to it. My pineapple shrimp dish was okay, the sauce really made it have a nice taste! We ordered take out, so I can't comment on the decor or staff, however it was the evening after a big storm, and Asian food was voted the way to go, the choices available were plentiful, and we made a list of eclectic items. First the time to deliver they beat the estimated time by over 20 minutes, (thanks to the seamless driver) despite the dreadful conditions he arrived with hot food and a smile! Our order contained Shu mei, a variety of sushi rolls, a seafood Mei fun, General chow chicken and some regular Sushi. This was the first time ordering delivery and having some left over, great sized portions. The food excellent, tasty and fresh. Bottom line, we will reorder, and more importantly visit in person. This Kumo adds MSG to their food. It makes the food taste very good, but it adds a lot of sodium to your body. For people fighting high blood pressure, this is bad. You also get very, very thirsty. The vegetables are often undercooked (carrots, zucchini). The service is good. Delivery is very good. I wish they would eliminate the MSG. read more

In a takeout desert such as Brick/Toms River, this place is an oasis. I moved to the area in March of 2017 and have been trying to find a decent Chinese place since. We went to just about every place we could find but they were always lacking in some way... poor rice, poor entrees, under-seasoned, etc. On a whim, we decided to give this place a go. We had already eaten so much bad takeout that our tastebuds were used to it so we figured "why not?". Boy were we surprised. The fried rice was outstanding, the entrees perfectly cooked and seasoned, the Rangoon is the best in the area, and the portions are commendable. We have gotten both take-out and delivery, and the quality is always consistent (delivery was faster than estimated too). We have not had the pleasure of dining in yet but look forward to it in the future. read more
