We had the Pork Belly Bao Buns and were so pleasantly surprised. I could have eaten an obscene amount of these.

I am so glad I found this place. It is now a regular when I am in town. Took my Dad and Granddaughter. We all got something different and everything was absolutely delicious. . The Tonkotsu is traditional, silky and some of the best I have had, even compared to the top-rated and well known locations in LA and NY. The Pork Belly Bao Buns were an unexpected too notch choice. We enjoyed the Jerk Chicken Ramen for a traditional look and spin on the flavor that kind of blew my socks off. Really good and I recommend. We were a bit early before the Oxtail was done but next time I will be getting an oxtail special Lastly I have to mention the atmosphere. Laid back, some good music playing and the staff were ALL wonderful hosts. This is some of the most friendly, warm and welcoming people and you feel like you were invited to a good friend's house. Thank you Chef Wayne and Chef Jeannie.

Arrived at the strip mall location not sure what to expect. We were greeted as soon as we entered and give the option to choose seating. The inside area offers high top tables and counter seating in the front and regular tables towards the back. There is also an outdoor seating area covered by a canopy. We pulled up our mobile menus and it was decision time. While browsing we received large cups of ice water and a carafe to keep our glasses full. This was perfect for our thirsty table. We started with the Bao and oh it was so good. Between the pork and coconut shrimp I'd have to say the shrimp was my favorite. For our main course we each had large bowls of steamy ramen. My BBQ chicken bowl was so full of flavor and more than enough. I only wish there a few more traditional veggi and mushroom options to add in. Our experience overall was great. The service was friendly and attentive and the dining area and bathroom very clean. It was certainly a vibe.

Interesting and fun take on ramen in the ocean county area! The fusion of ramen they have here is very unique and unlike any I've had before. the service was very friendly, but did take a while for orders to get delivered. The food itself was great! It's great if you need something unique/ different or a good way to get into ramen for the first time. 4 stars for slower service but willing to go back to rate it higher next time!

Vibe and Slurp is located along an ample lot with lots of parking. The inside of the restaurant is dim and cozy. I found everything to be very clean. I was able to meet the owner and his wife, they are very kind hardworking people. The owner is super creative with his menu and has made some extremely original ramen recipes. I had the Boneyard Ramen, and boy was it packed with flavor. There was a plentiful amount of rib tips and toppings. The broth is different than your traditional Japanese pork broth, it has a unique sweet and savory flavor that delivers an explosion of flavor with each bite. The same can be said about the Bao Buns. The buns had large slices of pork belly and the sauces within each bun complimented each slice very well. It could very well be that I came in on a monday but I feel that this town is sleeping on this wonderful restaurant.

My Japanese friend, who grew up eating ramen, gave me lots of notice that Vibe N Slurp was coming to Toms River. I was able to check it out, and I enjoyed it. It is a smaller place, where everyone is made to feel comfortable. I came solo, and they were able to clear a spot for me at their counter. Every single employee in the place made sure to say hi to me, which is something I always appreciate. Their food is a fusion between Caribbean and Japanese ramen, if that is an accurate description. I found my ramen to have a little edge to it, and it wasn't just the usual recipe that you get from any Asian restaurant.

Today I decided to order take out with the toast app. Second time for a take out since April. The experience then was bad. I get there in the rain after ordering to be told they didn't have anymore. Refunded me and keep the tip. Wtf. So today I called first... ordered through today my order will be ready at 543pm... which was 20 min. Later than my order. I've arrived, called pretty instruction and they are putting my order together. I wait 15 more minutes, I check again, they are putting my buns together. This is awful, I've now been waiting 30 min. And my order is still not ready!!!! I'm almost ready to ask for a refund myself this time. I'm trying to kill time by writing this review.... I've got the oxtail bao buns and the curry ramen...I really enjoyed it last time I ate there. Ok food comes out 622pm... almost a full hour. Now I go home to taste it... review on a short pause.

Very fun ramen experience. Went around 5 pm on a Wednesday so it was not crowded. The service was excellent. Had the pork Bao buns appetizer and it was delicious. Had the curry chicken ramen and it was very flavorful broth with good noodles, very good chicken and the veggies completed the meal. The tonkutso ramen with pork belly also delicious.

I started with the spicy tuna tartare served on fried rice crisps. Perfect portion size, well-balanced seasoning, and just the right level of heat -- easily a 5/5 appetizer. For my entrée, I ordered the A5 beef ramen (not entirely sure of the official menu name, as I couldn't find it listed online). The bowl itself was intentionally simple, which worked in its favor. The broth was extremely rich and flavorful, and with a small addition of chili oil it was spot on. The noodles were clearly fresh and had excellent texture. My only real criticism was the amount of beef, which felt a bit light given the price point. My total for a solo lunch came to about $40 before tip. Overall, I'd rate the experience a 4/5. It's a great spot for an occasional treat, though probably not a regular go-to at that price. If I return, I'd likely explore some of the more budget-friendly ramen options on the menu.

I got there a little early, but o my had to wait about five minutes and it was ready to go. I would have liked to tried eating in here as it's a very cute place. We started with the Chili, garlic edamame and pork Bao buns. I quickly realized I should have skipped the appetizers because the ramen was going to fill me up. The edamame were great, as were the bao buns, but I just couldn't finish. Yer My son got the original chicken ramen with a little spice. Just spicy enough for him. I got the Katsuobushi Pork Ramen (pork belly), with some extra chicken and shrimp to increase my protein. My future so -in-law got the same thing. All of us thought the ramen was absolutely delicious, though I was hoping the pork belly was going to be a little crispier. The pork broth was really flavorful and the additional toppings filled me up. A work of warning in case this kind of thing freaks you out...the extra shrimp come with their heads on. This would definitely be a go-to place if I lived down here. Excellent, though pricey, like everything on the island.

Pork bao buns were a lil fatty this time around but the main event , ramen itself, was 10/10. Quality and speed makes for a great experience. Again can't wait to go back.

The woman helping us was sweet but couldn't really explain the dishes well but was helpful if we wanted to make adjustments. We did not know what the tofu dish was and asked for some clarification but was just told it was fried tofu and that it was good. We didn't know what was really on it but we ordered it anyways. We didn't enjoy it but were happy we tried it. I thought my ramen was fine, not my favorite but no complaints. My friend didn't like her ramen so she asked for hot sauce, sriracha, and soy sauce to spice it up and the server was confused at first but was fine bringing it over once we clarified what we wanted. We also didn't love the karaage chicken. All in all, we enjoyed our visit there and appreciated trying something new. They give cute little cat shaped chopstick holders. We will not likely be back because it wasn't to our liking but think it is just personal taste not that the place was bad so we do recommend trying it for yourself. A lot of other people were there and seem to all enjoy their meals and said they come there often.
