Stopped by with a friend before a show, on his recommendation. It's a small venue in a shopping complex, so there is free lot parking. Typical interior for such an establishment. Staff was fast & friendly, as was the service. They do Ramen, & Rice bowls, but they do throw some Thai food in the mix. We had the Pork Bun, which was incredible. The Veggie Miso Ramen, delicious....& the Shrimp Pad Thai, which was Ok. I've definitely had better Pad Thai, this wouldn't even crack my top 5. Not bad, but not flavorful or exciting. I'd hands down come back for the Pork Buns. Grades: Pork Bun: A++ Veggie Miso Ramen: A Pad Thai (Shrimp): C

The ramen was pretty good, heads up, they only have egg noodles as an option. The ramen had nothing special to mention but not bad, therefore worth it; as prices were cost effective. If you're looking for basic Ramen and appetizers, this is the place for you. Also, no alcoholic beverages.

The ramen I would say is good for the area though I've had better in central Jersey. I enjoyed the wahoo chicken ramen and would recommend it if you're new to ramen. My favorite part of the meal was the pork buns which I would go back for because they were so delicious.

Great Ramen, cozy spot with traditional Japanese decor and feel. Simple Menu with tasty selections. Located on main highway with ample parking

Everyone comes here for Ramen, but seriously try the breaded pork with rice. Not only is it good but a hefty portion for the price. And yes Ramen bowl is really really good.

Ippin Ramen is a small Japanese restaurant that specializes in noodles. This seems like a casual place to eat for lunch. All the entrées are under $16 and they have a nice variety of desserts. I found the food to be of good tasting Asian fare. Nothing great, but above average.

Been coming here for years, an absolute favorite. The service is consistent, standard. Recommend Dishes: * Kakuni Ramen, I personally get it with no tree mushrooms based on personal preference, extra kakuni and egg. So bomb!! * Pork buns * Asian Ginger Wings Overall Rating: 4/5

I have gotten a to go here as my first time and saw they had bubble tea but I guess that was an old menu since they told us they dont sell bubble tea. Dined-in the 2nd time and got a chicken katsu curry. It's pretty spacious inside not that small. Its in same plaza as starbucks and jersey mikes. It was quiet only us and another family was eating there. Food came pretty fast. Katsu curry came with soup. The presentation was nice on the plate even the rice was garnished. Wish they had more options but overall great

Yes, IPPIN RAMEN IN OAKHURST NJ GETS ALL 5 STARS!! When we walked in we were greeted with such a warm welcome. The women who served us that afternoon for lunch had a pretty smile, upbeat attitude and she was very knowledgeable about the menu, overall SHE, along with our yummy Ramen on a cold afternoon, made visiting Ippin ramen worth the trip. I would totally recommend this place.

Tucked away in a small shopping center. Small little shop with decent ramen. The tea is low quality and not loose leaf tea. I tried the ginger wings and the ippin house ramen which is their tonkotsu ramen. The wings were okay plain friend wings with a dipping sauce that tasted like ketchup. I wouldn't get these again. The ramen had some of the best tasting tonkotsu broth I've had. Other than the broth. I didnt really care for the rest of it. The noodles were thin and soft. The egg was over cooked and the charshu was lean and dry tasting. Its a shame because the broth was excellent. I will return and try different items.

I had the minced pork spicy ramen today for lunch at Ippin Ramen and was spicy and delicious! We had the wings, spicy crab salad and the spring rolls AND all were delicious. My new favorite local Ramen shop. Service was also very attentive and our server was great.

One of the few ramen spots within a 20 minute radius of me which keeps me coming back. To be fair, I've only ordered to go so I can't speak for inside the restaurant but I can talk about the most important thing - the ramen of course! I've tried spicy minced pork ramen and tako yaki. The broth has a little kick but won't break much of a sweat. The noodles are on the thinner side - reminded me of angel hair pasta. They were fine but I prefer a thicker noodle for my ramen. The tako yaki hit the spot - a recommended appetizer for sure. Don't come here expecting to be blown away but it's not a bad option if you are in the area and get the ramen crave.

Came here on a whim after shopping at the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets and was curious if there were any close ramen places. The pictures looked decent, but I was honestly not expecting much given the random location next to Geico and it being off of busy route 35. While it's not authentically Japanese, their ramen was surprisingly not bad. Rec: (+) Ippin ramen- their chashu has a good fat to meat ratio, decent thickness, and the pork broth milky/ delicious enough for me to want to finish. The chef that cooked the noodles though did not stir well enough as some strands came out stuck together. (+) Age tofu appetizer- crispy deep fried tofu enough for 2 people Skip: (-) Kakuni ramen- this is the spicy option for their ramen and it tasted too much of gochujang korean pepper paste. Do not expect this to be a spicy miso ramen. Decor is surprisingly modern and spacious with booth and table seats. Service was very attentive. Worth a visit again.

What a great surprise. The food and service was excellent. The portions are generous and we over ordered. But it was so good.

First, I love this option when they allow you to order what you want rather than choosing from premade sushi that every diner breathes on. The sushi was excellent, very fresh and prepared nicely although they are heavy handed on the rice and the avocados weren't quite ripe. The spicy tuna and spicy salmon were made well with crunch as ordered. I was especially impressed with their prepared food, the gyoza, shumai, lo mein, teriyaki steak, and fried rice were all top of the line Asian restaurant quality. If ordering the teriyaki I would recommend the sauce on the side as it overpowered the beef. Service was fine, it was a slow rainy night and the food came out quickly. The restaurant is decorated nicely and is BYOB. One star off....soft drinks and ice cream not included...for $37 I think they should include it. The suggested tip calculation is based on food and tax which is not right either.... I tip 20 percent regardless but you shouldn't suggest that I tip on tax. I will go back as the food was terrific.

Menu is mostly standard sushi with some interesting special rolls, along with a couple Chinese food offerings. Sushi for most part was good, not excellent but good. Sashimi Tuna was fresh tasting. Scallion pancake disgusting. I'd stay away from Chinese offerings based on that alone. Warnings are placed on table if you don't finish food I think it's $1 per plate, $8/lb for Chinese food charged If not eaten , or maybe that was for all food. Seems harsh. When I started the pancake was disgusting they didn't bother to take it away. So can use your imagination what we did with it. Would we go back? Possibly now that we know it's also BYOB, liquor store is in the plaza.

As A recommendation, I tried the fattoush salad. It was about 16 or $17. It was very underwhelming and a HUGE disappointment. I could barely eat it because the dressing was super acidic. I ended up throwing most of it in the garbage because I found it barely edible. There were just a few broken up Ezekiel chips in it finally chopped very fresh romaine tomatoes( a little past their prime), herbs and vinegar/lemon-based dressing. i'm not sure why the salad was so expensive with so few salad guts. 416 or $17, I could've gone to one of a few high-end seaside restaurants and had a beautiful salad for close to that price.

Def going to be my go to for a healthy clean meal. I tried the raw falafel which was good, and came with ezekiel crips. I felt it could use some more tahini. The vegan kale was delicious and didn't taste vegan at all. Very unique to throw in sweet potato to that mix. I also had the veggie burger which was great. It had a balance of flavor with a kick of spice but was not overpowered by the pickled onions. Its served on ezekiel toast which is guilt free. I wanted an acai bowl but they were all out!
