I am definitely not an expert in ramen. Up until a couple years ago I thought ramen was cup ramen! This place is in direct competition here in downtown Freehold with ramen nagomi which is a few doors away. The ambiance is very elegant and I was not expecting that. It will look much closer at night when the dim lit lights come to life. The service was not overbearing and the food was delivered in record time! I'd highly recommend.

Newly opened ramen place in Freehold. Selections are a range of Chinese northern & Southern, Japanese, and Taiwanese style. Food was ok, good selections to try different things. Ambience is very nice. If you're looking for authentic Japanese then this is not the place.

Good Ramen spot. The food tastes good. Small and quaint atmosphere. Good customer service, the staff seem a bit shy. I ordered the Korean wings, the flavor and texture were good, but the wings were small. Mango tea was good. Overall great place!!!

The place is looks esthetically pleasing. Food tasted good. This ramen place has a bit more options in the menu containing a fusion with Chinese dishes. The chicken chili was delicious as I craved for some of that mouth numbing dish. I would loved if they add a bit of veggies with the chicken. I threw some of my udon noodles to get more of that mouth numbing flavor. They also have a good amount of boba tea options. I asked for no ice in both of my drinks but they must've forgotten but that's okay. I shared both of these dishes. Overall, I would recommend this place if u don't want just ur standard ramen dish.

From the moment we entered the ambiance was very warm and inviting - also very clean. The menu is spectacular so many wonderful things to choose from! We had combination fried rice which was absolutely delicious. Vegetable lo mein was on point and described as the best ever eaten which speaks volumes. Ramen was delicious and our waiter was extremely attentive and kind when we explained a food allergy went over and above to accommodate our needs. We cannot wait to return to this gem!

I don't know where to start, the food was absolutley spectacular. I ordered ramen and extra tempura shrimp for my meal, and it was mind boggling. We had a server named Daniel and he was the nicest person I've ever met. He listened to everything we had to say, replied with joy, and is just a wonderful person. The restaurant itself was very nice too. There was a good choice of music (in my opinion) and it was also a very good volume, I could hear it and my table. The place looks very nice, with designs on the walls, plants, and lights. I also want to mention, the food was very well priced, especially for the quality of the food. I will 100% be coming back here with joy. Excited to eat there again!

I started with the spicy tuna tartare served on fried rice crisps. Perfect portion size, well-balanced seasoning, and just the right level of heat -- easily a 5/5 appetizer. For my entrée, I ordered the A5 beef ramen (not entirely sure of the official menu name, as I couldn't find it listed online). The bowl itself was intentionally simple, which worked in its favor. The broth was extremely rich and flavorful, and with a small addition of chili oil it was spot on. The noodles were clearly fresh and had excellent texture. My only real criticism was the amount of beef, which felt a bit light given the price point. My total for a solo lunch came to about $40 before tip. Overall, I'd rate the experience a 4/5. It's a great spot for an occasional treat, though probably not a regular go-to at that price. If I return, I'd likely explore some of the more budget-friendly ramen options on the menu.

This is easily one of the best ramen spots I've ever tried. They offer a great variety of broths, ranging from clear to creamy and spicy. My personal favorite is the Spicy Miso Ramen; it's the perfect balance of richness and heat, accompanied by incredibly tender pieces of slow-braised pork belly. I also love that you can fully customize your bowl with different toppings to make it exactly to your taste. You also cannot skip their appetizers. This time we ordered the Rock Shrimp Tempura, which was fried to perfection without overcooking the shrimp, and the sauces were the perfect addition. You also need to try their Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, the Bao Buns, and my absolute favorite: the Ika Geso Karaage, which comes with the most delicious mayo dipping sauce. The cozy ambiance perfectly complements the food, and the service is always attentive. It's a BYOB spot, which is a nice touch, and they'll provide glasses upon request. Since they don't take reservations, make sure to add yourself to the Yelp waitlist so you don't have to wait too long to try this amazing food!

I've actually never been to this location but the staff was so nice and accommodating (we were running late for the ballet ) and made sure to get us in and out asap. Seating is limited so I'd recommend signing up for the waitlist online ahead of time I did try the vegan curry ramen which I've never had before and it was good although I'll stick with my usual next time. It did taste like maggi (ifykyk) but elevated which was comforting buttt I can just make that at home lol still hit the spot though!

That is what you get when you get great eats at Terakawa Ramen. As you enter, you'll notice the wall murals with the chefs on one side and the opposite wall has anime customers slurping their ramen. Yes, it's perfectly fine to make those loud slurping noises to show your appreciation for a great bowl of ramen. Here's what was ordered: - Signature Terakawa Ramen - 4.5/5 stars Boasted of rich, lovingly homemade pork bone soup with a good amount of sliced roast pork, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, ginger, scallions, and a jammy egg. The straight thin noodles were al dente. They maintained their texture in the broth, brilliantly. The broth was deep and flavorful. - Pork belly Donburi - 4.5/5 stars The juicy tender pork belly was plentiful, sliced perfectly as their we're not too thick nor paper thin. Their flavor was rich, savory with a balance of sweetness from the soy dashi sauce. Elegantly layered in top of a humongous bowl of seasoned rice, along with a sprinkle of scallions, pickled radishes, and sesame seeds. The photo on their menu does not do it justice. I would have loved a jammy egg to be included to bring the dish to the next level. - Gyoza - 3.5/5 stars 5 pieces of Pan-fried gyoza dumplings with their dumpling sauce. I would prefer them to have been fried a bit more. The balance between their pork and cabbage was even. They were delightfully light in both taste and texture. The service was very good. Both Willie, the owner, and a charming waiter named Sung served us. Sung kept coming over checking in to attest our cups were full, and if we needed anything else. I was told the have two locations: Philadelphia and the one we're dining at, Princeton Junction, NJ. Both locations serve homemade recipes from the Kumamoto region of Japan. If ramen is your love language, this place will absolutely speak to your soul.

We were quickly and warmly greeted by the young woman working behind the desk. She was finishing up an order and then took ours. I always stick to my tried and true favorite of Thai milk tea with boba. I would give my Thai tea a 4/5- it was tasty, but lacked a bit of the stronger/earthy flavors other Thai teas have. My husband got the pineapple tea. He forgot to request boba, so his was just the drink without the bubbles. I liked the stronger flavor of his tea more than mine. The cups were adorable, with cat shaped covers and ears popping up. If you are heading down the shore and are in the mood for a bubble tea, this is a good option. They also offer tangulu (fruit dipped in crunchy, clear sugar coating). We did not try it this time, but I will definitely be back to give it a taste.
