I just spent $35.00 at this restaurant today and I'm highly upset! I ordered Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, a large Wonton soup, Sexy Girl Roll and Fried Rice. The rice that came with the shrimp and lobster sauce was just fine, HOWEVER the shrimp itself was old and mushy!!! I took one bite of the shrimp and had to spit it out for fear of if I consumed it, I would get food poisoning!! I poked my fork into the other pieces of shrimp and only two were firm as shrimp should be. That's right, only two pieces weren't spoiled! The rotten pieces were so mushy and soft, I am utterly disgusted. In the photos I've attached, in the first picture is one of the spoiled pieces that I placed on the clear part of the container the restaurant provides to place the food. Management - WHY are you selling seafood that's old, spoiled and rotten?!? The last thing I would want right before the 4th of July holiday is to be in the hospital due to food poisoning. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!! This is a health hazard!

Chen's is always amazing in service and the food is delicious. They are always accommodating to special alterations of meals. They do use Chinese five spice often however, the flavor is on the light side. I have enjoyed every meal I've had so far.

Staff were pleasant, noise level was very moderate. The restaurant can service large groups. The sushi rolls were a bit more experimental or modernize for American palette, traditional sushi was a bit scarce. However, the fish was quite fresh but some rolls were a little too loose and falling apart upon picking them up. The ramen was seasoned well, but my noodles were a bit clumpy which means it wasn't served as soon as it was boiled. The Shrimp and Lobster sauce was a great portion and made fresh! I had stopped ordering shrimp and lobster sauce at other restaurants because the smell was so fishy and pungent but Chen's Asian Bistro did not have that kick in your face fishy smell in fact it didn't smell fishy at all! I would dine there again. There is onsite parking available.

" Let's go to Chen's" said one of my bros. Located in a strip mall, parking galore. Nice staff, and really good sushi rolls, but first a Kani salad. IDK if it was real crab or imitation but it was very good tasting We all ordered 5 sushi rolls. Don't ask me what they were. What I do know was, they were excellent. Well prepared and meticulously presented ranging from $13-19. BYO.

I'm a Chinese food snob. This place is the real deal! Everything was delicious. I took out the food but the restaurant is very clean and modern looking.

I thought that was odd but okay. Since I've never frequented this establishment before, I always order the Drunken Tofu Noodle along with curry puffs to see how it is. It's my barometer for judging how they are as a Thai restaurant. The server mentioned their curry puffs contain chicken as an ingredient. I was fine with that. The server boasted that they make it in-house, so I was looking forward to it. After she placed it down and I took my first bite, I was expecting it to be crunchy as it's fried. I was met with it firstly, with it being room temperature. Taking my initial bite, I was disappointed with the lack of crispness. The stuffing inside was also very mushy, and it was supposed to be chicken curry puffs. I was, however, able to taste the curry powder, so that was good. The Drunken Noodle had American broccoli and baby corn in lieu of onions and carrots for vegetables. I was expecting the usual long flat noodles, but the flat noodles appeared to be broken into shorter pieces. At the time of my ordering, I had no idea it didn't come with the standard tofu because they kept asking if I wanted shrimp, chicken, or beef. I was surprised when they upcharged me an extra $2 for the fried tofu. My stomach was bothering me today, so I asked for it to be mild. It definitely took me by surprise as it was spicier than I planned for. It was extremely greasy; however, the taste of chili paste was evident, giving it a good flavor. After finishing up, the employee asked me a couple of times if I desired any dessert, to which both times, I indicated I was quite full, declined, thanked them, and requested the check. I could see the clear disappointment on their face. The ambiance is quite beautiful, and their food was tasty. Being seated at a booth allowed me to feel deliciously isolated and get some reading done.

When we started eating, something seemed off with the food. The taste and smell weren't quite right, but we initially gave the benefit of the doubt. Shortly after, my pregnant wife became sick and started vomiting, which made it clear something wasn't right. I called the restaurant to explain what happened and requested a refund given the situation. Instead of handling it professionally, I was passed between multiple people, each one dismissing the concern. I was told "that's not how refunds work" and that they had "been serving it all day," as if that ruled out any issue. The final person I spoke with was especially unprofessional. He was immediately aggressive, dismissive, and more interested in arguing than listening or taking the situation seriously. I usually go out of my way not to leave negative reviews because anyone can have a bad day. But the way this was handled from the immediate defensiveness, the lack of concern, and the dismissal of a pregnant woman getting sick was honestly alarming. The reaction almost felt rehearsed, which raises even more concern about how situations like this are handled or how often they encounter them. I would be very cautious ordering from here.

We tried their lunch specials: green curry tofu and drunken noodles with tofu. Now, the specials only come with a salad. The salad was refreshing, but we wished the lettuce was cut into smaller pieces. It consisted of iceberg lettuce, a cherry tomato, and a slice of cucumber. The green curry tofu was delightful, served in a bowl of delicious curry sauce with rice on the side. The long-grain rice was perfectly cooked--not mushy. The drunken noodles had a nice spice, which my husband thoroughly enjoyed. We truly appreciate the vegetarian options and look forward to revisiting them when we are in the area.

Inside, the decor is beautiful and polished with Vietnamese straw hats and taxi bikes. There's plenty of tables and only few customers. We were quickly greeted by two staff by the door and got seated with menus. I noticed the karaoke stand and stage, but there was no one singing at the time so they must have karaoke on certain occasions or time. We looked at the menu and it looked pretty impressive. When we were ready to order, no staff are around. Five minutes later, our waitress showed up and took our orders. For appetizers, we had the mini crepes and my entree, vermicelli special which included grilled pork and shrimps and a spring roll. The crepes were a bit undercooked and it's not as crispy as it should be. I was also a bit disappointed with my entree. The vermicelli noodles were overcooked so the noodles were broken into smaller strands. The fish sauce was pretty bland. I really wanted to like this place but sadly it was a letdown. I would rate this really 2.5 stars but our waitress was nice so feeling generous here with 3 stars. I'm not sure if we will ever come back. My husband was also disappointed with his entree. We have our fair share of Vietnamese food so we know good authentic cooks when we try a dish. I guess it was also a tale tell sign when the restaurant didn't have much customers on Valentine's Day.
