Honey prawn with walnuts

Excellent chinese food for a great price. Seating is available for those that want to eat there. It is much cleaner than your typical Chinese take out restaurant. You actually want to eat here! We had a large group of 13 so we took up 3 tables. There is a tea dispenser in which you help yourself to as much tea as you like. They do not charge you for tea. Ordering is simple as they have table service. We ordered the honey prawn with walnuts, beef with tomato over rice, and shredded pork with pan fried noodles. The honey prawn was excellent, with not too much breading. It was served over steamed broccoli and raw lettuce with a bowl of rice. The beef with tomato over rice was ok. I prefer my tomatoes to be a bit more cooked but the beef was very tender. Lastly, one of the more popular dishes, was the shredded pork with pan fried noodles. You can add additional noodles for $3 more and they give you enough noodles for a complete 2nd portion. This is quite the steal and saves you on ordering another dish. The noodles are very crispy too and taste much better when you eat it at the restaurant. Conveniently located inside a strip at the intersection of route 520 and route 79. There is a playa bowls and wawa in the same complex.

General Tso's chicken

Golden Seas is probably the best restaurant for (Americanized) Chinese food in the area. I highly recommend their General Tso's chicken.

This used to be our go-to Chinese restaurant whenever we're in town; however, sometime during the…read morePandemic the ownership changed. We took out a few dishes from the new ownership and were utterly disgusted with the quality. It's been a few more years. I am not sure if ownership changed again, but we decided to give it another chance. I didn't recognize the owner - not sure if it was because of the absence of mask. But first impression was she didn't care to be cordial or friendly, just doing the basic part as a wait staff. On the plus side, the chairs and tables have been upgraded from what I could remember. We ordered our usual dishes in order to gauge the current quality. 2 staple Sichuan dishes: Kung Pao Chicken ($14.95) and Shredded Beef with Hot Green Pepper ($17.95). We also added a noodle dish: Sauteed Noodle with Pork & Scallion ($11.95). Kung Pao Chicken was rendered differently - sweeter and not as dark but tasty none the less. The Shredded Beef was also slightly different, thicker and obviously tenderized with baking soda. It was good enough. The sauteed noodle was good but it's a generic dish so no authenticity to consider. A number of deviations from prior experience. The chicken and beef dishes each only 1 bowl of rice, instead of a big serving bowl for the table. We had to ask for one additional bowl of rice. Not sure if it was missed but we didn't get charged for it. The tea wasn't complimentary any more. $1.50 for the pot. Overall, we weren't disappointed because we came in with low expectation. We will be back again hoping to see that they can at least maintain the same consistency.

We decided to come here one day after work. There were a couple of tables occupied but it's mostly…read moretakeout. The restaurant is medium in size, with bright orange walls, framed art pieces adorning them, and booths lined up against them. Tables seating up to 4 people sit in a row in the middle as well. We were seated at a booth. We ordered the following: #717 - rice cake Shanghai style. This was the best item in my opinion. The rice cake was nice and chewy. #925 -braised whole fish with hot sichuan bean sauce. We were told that this will take 25 minutes to cook. Hubs liked it a lot. I thought it was ok but I felt that the fish was hard. #933 - short rib and bitter melon in black bean sauce. This was disappointing because the bitter melon was hard and barely cooked. There were only a couple pieces of the melon. It's also not short ribs and hubs was disappointed about that. It was actually spare ribs. They also put sweet potato noodles underneath the casserole to make it look like the entree was bountiful. Guess they're trying to save money. #S12 - Thai style hot and spicy basil chicken and shrimp. This was daughter's favorite dish. She thought the shrimp was nice and soft and the chicken was nicely cooked. There were lots of fruit flies and they were getting annoying because they were hanging by our table the entire night. Daughter figured out that they were attracted to the decorative carrots because it was marinated in vinegar. We moved it out of our way and it was ok after that, but we didn't realize it until we were midway through our dinner. The fruit flies were hanging on the wall by our booth. This is one of the reasons I don't like to sit at a booth. Flies and fruit flies are attracted to booths and don't move away. Note to self, do not sit in a booth if there are tables in the middle of the restaurant. We came here almost 10 years ago and liked it a lot. I've been wanting to come back here for a while. I was pretty disappointed this time. Don't think we'll be returning.

I started with the spicy tuna tartare served on fried rice crisps. Perfect portion size, well-balanced seasoning, and just the right level of heat -- easily a 5/5 appetizer. For my entrée, I ordered the A5 beef ramen (not entirely sure of the official menu name, as I couldn't find it listed online). The bowl itself was intentionally simple, which worked in its favor. The broth was extremely rich and flavorful, and with a small addition of chili oil it was spot on. The noodles were clearly fresh and had excellent texture. My only real criticism was the amount of beef, which felt a bit light given the price point. My total for a solo lunch came to about $40 before tip. Overall, I'd rate the experience a 4/5. It's a great spot for an occasional treat, though probably not a regular go-to at that price. If I return, I'd likely explore some of the more budget-friendly ramen options on the menu.

We tried their lunch specials: green curry tofu and drunken noodles with tofu. Now, the specials only come with a salad. The salad was refreshing, but we wished the lettuce was cut into smaller pieces. It consisted of iceberg lettuce, a cherry tomato, and a slice of cucumber. The green curry tofu was delightful, served in a bowl of delicious curry sauce with rice on the side. The long-grain rice was perfectly cooked--not mushy. The drunken noodles had a nice spice, which my husband thoroughly enjoyed. We truly appreciate the vegetarian options and look forward to revisiting them when we are in the area.

We were quickly and warmly greeted by the young woman working behind the desk. She was finishing up an order and then took ours. I always stick to my tried and true favorite of Thai milk tea with boba. I would give my Thai tea a 4/5- it was tasty, but lacked a bit of the stronger/earthy flavors other Thai teas have. My husband got the pineapple tea. He forgot to request boba, so his was just the drink without the bubbles. I liked the stronger flavor of his tea more than mine. The cups were adorable, with cat shaped covers and ears popping up. If you are heading down the shore and are in the mood for a bubble tea, this is a good option. (Why would you put wasabi in the bbq squid that comes with teriyaki sauce), to order hibachi you need to order everything separately. The service was kind and attentive but very disorganized even though it was only 2 tables being served. Do NOT order the all-you- can-eat, waste of money, too expensive for the quality and flavor combinations. Only get it if you just want to shovel food down your gastronomical hole.
