Went for lunch it was very busy I ordered my usual grilled pork banh mi. It was delicious with a very good French bread. I will be back

Hot & sour Pho with coconut tea

One of my favorite places ever!!! Service is always great inside and takeout. Perfect portions, affordable prices and my order is always right everytime. The hot & sour chicken pho is the best around. :)

We came here for an early dinner and were immediately seated after arriving. I've been wanting to come here for a while. We ordered the following: Shrimp summer rolls with mixed fish sauce instead of peanut sauce. We liked it a lot. The summer rolls were nice and soft, which is preferable but some places serve it hard. It's probably hard because it was refrigerated and not warmed up. Daughter had Shaking Beef Cubed and liked it but thought it was a little overdone. She usually orders this wherever she goes after discovering this in LA. Next, hubs ordered Build Your Own Pho and you can choose up to 3 toppings. He opted for sliced rare beef, beef tendon and fried tofu. It comes with rice noodles and beef broth. The rare beef was served raw and frozen on a plate. It stayed looking raw after leaving in the hot broth for a minute or 2 but hubs said it was cooked. He liked it but I wouldn't try it because it looked off-putting . Lastly, I had Vegetarian Vermicelli, which has vegetarian spring roll, fried tofu & vegetables. It's served with noodle, lettuce, pickled carrots, cucumber, and mixed fish sauce. You can add egg noodles instead of vermicelli for an extra $1. I liked it and never had a vegetarian format of this. It's usually with meat. It was pretty good and I felt healthy after eating this. I also had a lychee drink. This is my usual drink to have whenever I declde to splurge. It's delicious as usual. Service was quick and friendly. Will return to try other items on the menu

Came here for lunch during the weekend and it was decent. I liked their menu pho - the broth was tasty and good. Their rice and grilled pork was okay, but I've tasted better seasoning in the pork slice. The pork served was an also a bit too fatty for my liking. Parking was no issue as the lost is shared with other businesses. Service was friendly and you can definitely tell it's a family business as they have young teens/kids cleaning up the table. The restaurant is clean.

It took a long time for the appetizers to come out; Almost immediately afterwards, the main dishes were served. When I bit into the shrimp, all I tasted was oil. Too much breading; not enough shrimp. The spicy/sweet wings were just OK. The vermicelli was over cooked and flavorless. It became barely edible when I all of the dipping sauce on it. Several of the short ribs were almost entirely fat, rather than meat. The cucumbers/salad was refreshing. After we were served, the waitress sat down with almost all of the staff and ate. We waited and waited and she kept eating. In fact, I wrote this review while waiting. I was going to rate this place 3 stars because the food was passable, however, with the waitress enjoying a leisurely meal before returning, I have to rate it a two. Finally the host came over and asked if we wanted anything else, while the waitress continued to sit and eat. The host bought the check which had scan to pay. When I scanned it, i had been double charged for a soda. The waitress finally showed up to ask if we wanted a bag When we described the check discrepancy, she said she would reprint it and if the scan to pay didn't work, I could come up to the register to pay. It should be noted, there were only 2 tables occupied including ours; there was no reason for the slow service. The environment was bright and sterile.

Ordered the vegetarian spring rolls, because they're hard to come by. They were hot and fresh out of the frier but the lettuce that came with it to wrap it with was tiny. I ordered the vegetarian pho and my partner got the seafood pho, which is made with beef broth. The vegetarian pho broth was very sweet, unlike the beef broth. The beef broth was also a bit lukewarm. Overall we were satisfied, but probably wouldn't come again.

We were visiting my niece in Asbury Park, and it has been raining all day, and we all thought that Pho would be a good idea. But our excitement turned to disappointment. It started when they brought the condiments. No Thai Sweet Basil, no cilantro and lemon instead of lime. We have to ask for cilantro. Appetizers: Spring Rolls - great and still hot, but only 2 per order. Green Papaya Salad - missing the authentic flavor. The sauce is the same as the spring roll dip. Chicken Wings - Excellent! and good portion. Pho - the broth is very basic. It is lacking depth, very bland. Added a lot of Sriracha and Hoisin sauce. Bun Bo Hue - my niece really enjoyed hers and said broth is delicious. Lemongrass Pork Chops - the pork chop is very dry and tough. Service: non-existent. I think the guy that was serving us was just looking forward to getting out of there. He forgot to bring us our small plates, and we have to flag down another server to refill our water.

Food was delicious with no complaints. Great portions, only thing that was disappointing was there was no mint available. Service could be better. We ordered four milk teas. Only one of us requested bubbles. They were automatically added to all drinks and charged for them. Also, no one came over to check in on us for water refills or if the meal turned out alright, despite it not being busy. It could be a "cafeteria-style" way of serving, but the ambiance doesn't really give that off. Ambiance was nice and clean.

Love this place. A sit down restaurant, but a fast casual type of feel. Food very good. Service great and not pressuring to leave once you're done.

Here on a work trip and needed something hot and cozy. This defiantly did the trick. Plenty of tables and no issues getting seated. The crispy spring rolls are so fresh and crispy, burning hot! Always one of my favorites. The pho portion is huge and cheap! (Comparatively from dc) the broth is clean, flavorful and the noodles aren't sticky like most other places. Lots of meat and noodles

This is a great spot for Vietnamese food if you're around Eatontown. The pho broth was flavorful and the Bahn Mi had well seasoned meat, fresh veggies, good sauce, and crisp bread. The speed of their service can vary, but once you get your order in, the food comes out quick. There's plenty of seating and the space is open and clean. When I'm in the area, I'll definitely consider coming here again.

Descent Pho. I would definitely go back and be more adventurous, but the spring rolls were also really good. Anything is good with the peanut dipping sauce.

Inside, the decor is beautiful and polished with Vietnamese straw hats and taxi bikes. There's plenty of tables and only few customers. We were quickly greeted by two staff by the door and got seated with menus. I noticed the karaoke stand and stage, but there was no one singing at the time so they must have karaoke on certain occasions or time. We looked at the menu and it looked pretty impressive. When we were ready to order, no staff are around. Five minutes later, our waitress showed up and took our orders. For appetizers, we had the mini crepes and my entree, vermicelli special which included grilled pork and shrimps and a spring roll. The crepes were a bit undercooked and it's not as crispy as it should be. I was also a bit disappointed with my entree. The vermicelli noodles were overcooked so the noodles were broken into smaller strands. The fish sauce was pretty bland. I really wanted to like this place but sadly it was a letdown. I would rate this really 2.5 stars but our waitress was nice so feeling generous here with 3 stars. I'm not sure if we will ever come back. My husband was also disappointed with his entree. We have our fair share of Vietnamese food so we know good authentic cooks when we try a dish. I guess it was also a tale tell sign when the restaurant didn't have much customers on Valentine's Day.

Here in Regal Plaza, you will find Vietnamese cuisine. For all the times I came to the plaza, I…read morealways wanted to go there as a final stop. Considering another eatery, I discovered that it was temporarily closed, which led me to go this eatery instead. Brand: 4/5 Vietnam Bistro is a Vietnamese restaurant in Regal Plaza in Howell Township. I like how the brand maintains a form easy to understand, from the name to the logo showing a bowl of food with chopsticks. The sign outside is itself simple in design albeit inconsistent, since the font does not match the one on the logo. You will also find lots of artwork decorating the walls and plastic plants. Website: 4/5 Vietnam Bistro immediately invites you to their website with the opening of B-Roll footage of food on sticks prepared on a grill. While you do have access to the menu, only a few of the items have images. Pertaining to the overall design of the website, it makes use of images and B-Roll footage with good placement, giving the entire website a good presentation with every scroll. Wait Time: 5/5 I experienced no issues or delays, as I received the beverage and the meal quickly. Ambiance: 4/5 You will hear Vietnamese pop playing throughout the establishment with a soothing volume. While the tables did have a small size, they make up for it by including containers filled with eating utensils with Vietnamese terms on it, which I found quite fascinating. Plenty of space exists separating the tables, and the establishment had a large capacity to accommodate many people. The seats felt slightly comfortable. The menu selection offers you a glimpse into authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Food: 5/5 I ordered the BánhMì Thịt Nướng with grilled pork packed between two buns, with Thai Tea. The crunchy baguette held its form as the grilled pork became the most prominent flavor. The flavor of the well-cooked pork especially came out with the addition of barbecue sauce. The vegetables, especially the cucumbers, gave it a balanced taste. The Thai Tea had a robust, tangy flavor. This entire course brought me into a pleasant mood, for not only did I get to try my first Vietnamese meal, but the tea especially gave me a decent experience that lasted throughout the day. The wait time it took to cook the meal matched the quality perfectly, and I can clearly see how they would feature on the website as a menu item. The service puts care into their menu items, and they keep within the spirit of Vietnamese cuisine. Service: 5/5 The staff made sure that I had a well-attended experience. I do not know if he was the owner, but he ensured that I knew what I wanted by offering me not just the menu but also a tablet showing the images of the items. Although they had a randomized order, I can definitely understand that a non-Vietnamese American like myself would probably not know much about Vietnamese cuisine. It is also a sign of a technologically aware establishment. Based on my first impressions, I will say that the service matches the quality of the brand, and they care about the food for the website does not lie when it claims it serves food with "love and care." The service ensured that I received my order quickly, even by piecemeal with the Thai Tea first and the Banh Mi second. Nothing about the ambiance tried my patience as I awaited my order. Cost: 4/5 Taking into consideration every aspect of this business, I will say that everything seemed to coalesce perfectly. As far personal suggestions, I would like to see more images of the menu items on that tablet and on that website. For such a simple yet effective logo, I would like to see it reflected on the sign outside. I would say that I would have given the cost three stars, the fact that I had a good first impression on Vietnamese cuisine means that it piqued my curiosity to the point I would want to come back in the future. With all that being said, I will say that the price of the Banh Mi and the Thai Tea was ultimately worth it. Rating: 5/5 Stars I can see how this Vietnamese restaurant would continue to represent Regal Plaza. Coming to Vietnam Bistro, I would consider it a first option for lunch or dinner. With the brand, you know what you are getting yourself into; and with the service, you will never feel lost. I wish more ethnic-themed restaurants would have as much accommodations when it comes to their menu items as Vietnam Bistro. Recommend To... First, I love this option when they allow you to order what you want rather than choosing from premade sushi that every diner breathes on. The sushi was excellent, very fresh and prepared nicely although they are heavy handed on the rice and the avocados weren't quite ripe. The spicy tuna and spicy salmon were made well with crunch as ordered. I was especially impressed with their prepared food, the gyoza, shumai, lo mein, teriyaki steak, and fried rice were all top of the line Asian restaurant quality. The broth was extremely rich and flavorful, and with a small addition of chili oil it was spot on. The noodles were clearly fresh and had excellent texture. My only real criticism was the amount of beef, which felt a bit light given the price point. My total for a solo lunch came to about $40 before tip. Overall, I'd rate the experience a 4/5.
