I ordered curry shrimp. It was ok at best and def not proper curry that I'm used to from Chinese restaurants. With that being said I thought they gave me the wrong meal. Forgot this place existed especially with all the changes done to this mall during the last few years. Coming out of Aldi's it was a chilly evening and decided to get soup so I figured I'd give them a shot. I was pleasantly surprised by the soup, Won Ton Soup tasted like it was made to order and excellent won tons light and flavorful. Last night we decided to get take out and revisited Xing Wok. All 4 of us enjoyed the combination dinners , soup and egg rolls. Meh . Def have had better Chinese elsewhere. Coconut fried rice, wasn't even fried. It's just coconut milk drenched in white rice and shrimp. General Tso chicken was pretty awful. Gross dark meat. Learn to use REAL white meat please. read more

Great for Chinese only! Japanese is awful! Contrary to other old reviews I had no problem with the online ordering, I love it! Food arrived faster than stated timeframe and was very hot and fresh. We have had most of the Chinese items are they are great. Crab Rangoon is my favorite! read more

Just had the Moo Goo Gai Pan Linch special . $5.35 + tax. The portion is very large and come with a choice of soup or soda. I'm really happy I came here because unlike a lot of Chinese take out joints my food was not salty. There was plenty of chicken in my dish and the balance of veggies & sauce was perfect. Only dislike was that there weren't any bean sprouts in the pork fried rice. However, this is understood as a lot of people request to not have them in the fried rice. I myself prefer the authentic style with bean sprouts. Not enough to really complain or take stars away. I bookmarked this restaurant on Yelp for future visits for when I pass through Hazlet. read more

Xing Wok is the definition of American Chinese takeout. Never get anything other than items on their Chinese menu. That being said this place is perfect if your looking for cheap Chinese food. Their chicken Lo Mein is actually one of my favorite things, and the fried rice, just because of how simple the dishes are. The rest of the menu tastes just how you would expect. Delivery is usually pretty good, and on time. Don't expect any thing extraordinary, and you will be satisfied. read more

The worst delivery experience ever! I placed an order via Seamless and was told the food would arrive in 30-45 minutes. 70 minutes later, the food had not arrived, so I called the restaurant to ask. They said they were simply too busy to deliver, and it would take another few hours. Long story short, I was charged and never received my food! read more

I had the chicken with cashews dinner special with pork fried rice and pork egg roll, with a small hot n sour soup. Nice amount of large cashews and generous amount of chicken, baby corn cobs, mushrooms, and carrots. I'm not a fan of sliced celery and there was quite a bit of it. The rice was boring, lackluster but edible. The soup was good but didn't present well. We ate at the restaurant, which has 3 rectangular tables, 2 seating 4 persons each. The third is less inviting due to its position. 2 or 3 could sit there. The place looks clean. There's a large fan to keep the dining area cool. I agree with what these other reviews are saying, it definitely is just Americanized Chinese food. We tried ordering online and it was so easy! I had the California roll and sweet potato roll. Both were good, but the rice was a bit mushy. The wasabi didn't seem too fresh. My husband had the pad tai and said it was good but didn't have the greatest sauce flavor as a tai restaurant which is expected. It also didn't have peanuts or tofu in it like other pad tai. We also had the fried dumplings and those were probably the worst out of all of the food. The meat seemed a bit old and they were just not very pleasing to look at and were a little too burnt in some places. Overall, it was all inexpensive so we'd try again but it wasn't amazing quality! I ordered from here last night. The delivery was in half the time stated. The sushi was actually REALLY GOOD. I don't know why previous reviews were bad seeing as there based on people not properly ordering the way they'd like to eat it. If you don't like celery...request no celery. The food, like I said, was delivered faster than noted. Was very hot, well cooked and uncooked, like sushi should be lol. I have no complaints and actually called the restaurant after my meal to compliment them on there promptness and delicious meal. I was leery from seeing poor reviews, but gave it a shot anyway. Pretty large selection of Asian cuisine. I ordered delivery through GrubHub which took a little over an hour. My order was accurate & complete, but I found out after I received my food that if you spend over $30 (which I did) you can select something for free from a list of particular items - so I missed out on that! Everything I ordered was very good, except the fries that came with the spicy garlic chicken wings, but I wasn't expecting the greatest French fries from an Asian restaurant. I have ordered from Xing Wok for years, I work nearby, and my whole office orders for them. I ordered to my house, which is only a few minutes from the resturant, and I waited over an hour. When I called she automatically gave me my address but said the wasnt received. When I asked how she knew my address if my order wasnt received she didnt answer. I had already been charged so I asked if I placed an order if I would be charged again, she said yes and delivery would take over an hour. Clearly they had forgotten about my order. She was very rude on the phone and HUNG UP on me. I called back and told her I would not be replacing the order and I would go somewhere else. 10 minutes later they showed up with food. I told them I didnt want it, I had told the lady on the phone that I no longer wanted to place the order, and they STILL charged me. Awful customer service. Just tell me you forgot the order, dont charge me twice. Will NOT be going back there. read more
