First time here at this restaurant. I wasn't even considering trying this restaurant but my friend who happens to be a "phonatic" dragged me here. Food is really good. One of the best pho I have had. But in every restaurant I go to, sanitation is always my deal breaker. Filthy floors and very nasty smelly restroom. My friend said it was never like this before. He said, it was always clean. Bad Customer Service, Nickel and Dime you.... With a new kid and not a lot of time to eat, my wife and I have ordered a few times at this place. Every time I get my bill I notice there is a "carry-out charge." I mentioned this to the manager and ask why his restaurant places a charge for only carry out customers. His response is they didn't want to add the fee to the menu thus keeping the menu price low. So in return, I asked if he charges extra to all the people that eat-in that use condiments like soy sauce, sirracha, refill on soft drinks, ect... He said no. The manager went on to say the reason for the extra fee is to cover the cost of the plastic bag, Styrofoam container and utensils. So let me get this right. PhoNatics charges extra for people leaving the business after they purchase the food to take home and eat. So what happens when I can't finish all of my food when I eat in, are they going to charge me for a to-go container? If the customer stays and eats in they can use all the soy sauce, sirracha and unlimited refills of Coke ect. Ok, maybe I can see this to make the place look busy so when people get done eating their Torchy Taco next door they might want to eat there because the place has people inside, cool I get it. On a customer service decision, I have to say this is wrong. Any business that doesn't already have the cost of carry out in the meal is not running their business correctly. This comes down to basic economics. I will give PhoNatics credit, this is their second location and they must be doing something right. Knowing PhoNatics is a successful company, PhoNatic already has an increase in their meal due to the cost of the carry out supplies, again successful profitable restaurants do this. The manger might say he doesn't but he does. I am pretty sure Torchy Taco's next door already has the carry out cost in the price of the meal a long with every other restaurant in Cedar Park. So the way I see it, bad customer service on PhoNatics double charging the customer. It's like charging extra for pickles and onions at a BBQ restaurant. My rating for any restaurant that does this will get 1 star. read more

This place is just as good as the original. When I went, there was some confusion at the service counter, and the wifi wasn't working. The pho was just fine, though. I ordered Pho Filet Mignon, light noodles -- my usual -- and it was exactly as expected. Rich, flavorful broth and good noodles with firm texture. read more

Wow 20 min for our food and my son had to wait to get his food.. we had to get a refund so he ate mine. Oh and they brought 1 of the three drinks 15 min after our food. I had to cancle my sons dinner and get a refund on it. Never again first time and last time to eat here. Oh while we are waiting 6 people and 4 to go orders before we even got our drinks. I have been to this places several times in the past and like the Pho soup. So I came again today. The waitress brought the bowl out. To my surprise, I only saw 4 pieces of meat. So I asked if that all the meats I got for a bowl of Pho (8.50) The waitress said check the bottom. I did and saw 2 more pieces and still did not see the beef stripe I asked for. So the waitress said sorry and took it back. Later, a guy came out with the bowl with more meat. He explained that hr weighted 4 oz. of meat for every bowl. I told him I saw a lot more meats in the past. He said it did not matter how many pieces of meat I saw, he always weighted 4 oz of meats. So here is my suggeation: it is matter and you should not even said it didn't matter to the customers who wonder about the differences between the past and what they got now. Poor response!!! First venture to this location. I ordered the Bun - pork vermicelli (counter agent wasn't familiar with the term bun). Anyway, when it came out I was very surprised at the small portion - about half the bowl. I guess it was due to the extremely small portion of the vermicelli - plus it appeared the noodles had been cut into short lengths - hard to use chop sticks. Anyway, the pork was cooked well and tasty, the veggies were fresh so no issue with the flavor. Might have gotten a four star but unlike my visits to other Pho restaurants, I left hungry. Pathetically slow service. I came in on Friday, 2/7/20 ordered two bowls for take out at 6:04pm, I didn't receive my order until 30 minutes later at exactly 6:34pm. In fact, there was a family who ordered after me, not only did they get their food quickly but they were finished and getting up to leave when I finally got my take-out order. The only explanation I got was, "Sorry we're short staffed today" - well apparently only short staffed for take out! I call it like I see it, and I am calling it: Pathetically slow. I have gone to this location about twice a month for about a year now, I spend about $40/mo, but I will no longer go there. Whenever I visit my friends in Leander & they ask me where I want to eat, this is the place I always choose! The servings are extremely generous & the Pho is amazing!!! Having a pho place so close to home was just a dream come true. It's different from other pho places since you walk up to counter and order your food and you get a number and wait. The service was great. They were patient since we didn't know the menu had so many choices. They helped us out with our order. You get a table and you wait. You get drinks on your own at the fountain machine or water. You can also a dessert drinks, which there were tons of choices offered. You can get as much pho condiments as you need, which rocks, since I love me some cilantro and limes. The food was a very nice portion. Love the jasmine rice and BBQ pork. Also had pho ordered too and the soup was YUM! Interior had this cool contemporary style and they also had outdoor seating. Honestly, nothing can be said bad about this place, and I plan on being a regular, especially when the cold weather hits. Only downfall is very little parking since a torchys is right next door. But of course this isn't their fault...just more of an FYI for you guys. read more

Food is good but there are some things this restaurant needs to do to make the experience better 1. Bring the uniforms back. The employees look sloppy with their own clothes and you never know who's working unless they are behind the counter. 2. If an employee is going to be at the register, have someone who knows how to greet the guests and speak to them. 3. There have been multiple occasion I come in and he employees are wearing gloves in the front to take orders, handle money and answer phones. I've even seen them clean the counters and adjust the AC unit, all with gloves on AND THEN go back in the kitchen! That is very unsanitary and breaks health code. I'm giving this store a rating of 3 because the Pho is good, the store is usually clean, and the staff is usually friendly. But really I'd rather give it a 2.5 because the broth is very salty - I always order the vegetarian Pho, they say and hopefully it is a vegy broth, so not sure about whether the others are as salty. I'd prefer less salt because it's not healthy to eat so much salt, I'd rather season with flavorings like the jalepenos and basil rather than salt - a lot of people said they think the broth is bland, maybe they want more salt, not sure, but not good for the blood pressure. But the reason for my post today was to mention something I noticed for the first time today when we ordered carryout. There was a $0.48 cents "ToGo Surcharge" added to the bill. Maybe that's been there before but I never noticed it, and thought wow that's the first time I noticed that. Not that fifty cents is gonna break my bank but it's just the point of it - we'll be checking out other Pho places next time - besides parking is such a hassle at this location. And 2 veggie Phos for almost $18 is a lot for a couple bowls of soup. read more

I got the 303 pho chicken (mixed), hubs got beef pho. The broth was great, fresh and delicious. Noodles were cooked perfectly. Only thing I didn't care for was the bland meat. I'm not sure if that's on purpose as the broth had a lot of flavor. I loved the drink options, toppings bar, and the awesome crushed ice...lol. no lines when I went on a Saturday lunch. read more

Don't order the iced coffee. You will literally get 4 drinks out of it because of all the ice. I tryed to go back and order another with lite ice and then my drink was missing an inch from the top. They said that it's premeasured and there was nothing they can because the owner is too cheap and won't listen to customer complaints about using too much ice in there iced drinks. This place is over rated if people are giving it a 5-star. I would say it's a 3-star and this is why: First, the floor was dirty and the tables needed a good wipe down. Second, the shredded chicken in the "Pho Ga Tre Em" (Pho Chicken - kids meal) was over cooked. And Third, the price you pay for the "Com Thit Bo Nuong" (Grilled marinated beef with rice) wasn't worth it. The side of vegetables that came with it was hardly a serving. My husband was still hungry after he ate it. We had to go pick up something else for him. The best plate would be the Vermicelli. I had the "Bun Thit Heo Nuong" (Grilled marinated pork with rice noodles.) It was very flavorful with just the right amount of noodle to meat to vegetable combination. The marinate they used on the meat made it very juicy and moist. The service was average. No one to really serve you. They have people to bring you your food. I wasn't even sure who clears the table since they had a trash bin. I thought I was suppose to clear it, I didn't. Someone comes around later to. One review said the menu on the wall was in small print. They are correct. It's pretty hard to read. You pretty much had to be right in front of the register to see it. Overall, I would come here again. The other bad thing is the parking. Especially during the lunch or dinner rush hour. The parking lot itself is tight. If you have a big car, good luck parking it. read more

I am a regular at this particular location,although I have been to others in town. I've got to say that this is the best place to go for quick and healthy Vietnamese food. The place is super clean looking all the time. The staff is very friendly and accommodating,especially when I want "extra" of something in what I order. I'm very happy that they have brown rice options and brown rice noodles. Their fried tofu is great and so is their other options. My favorite dish there so far is the "vegetarian Pho" made with extra tofu and brown rice noodles instead of the white rice noodles. Lots of veggies and the broth is excellent. I highly recommend this place if you are needing a dairy and gluten free fix. Just note that the hoisin (the black sauce in the squeeze bottle) is not gluten free. Very sad for me to write this review. This place was one of our favorites. But after constant menu changes, price increases combined with smaller portion, we won't be coming back. The pho soup used to be very good. Not sure what changed along the way, it tastes different now. We have friends that used to come to PhoNatic pretty often, they also stop going now, due to the same reason. I hope that PhoNatics make some changes for the better, once and for all. read more

I stopped on a Monday for an early lunch, hoping to find a decent Pho place in the Cedar Park area. This is not it. Pho Ga broth had decent flavor, but the chicken did not taste fresh. It wasn't rotten or anything like that, but it had that "pre cooked and been in the refrigerator too long" vibe. Stumbled upon this place. Was tempted to go the familiar route of torchys tacos next door but I love pho so had to try this place. Well I didn't get pho bc I spotted the veggie and tofu vermicelli and am so glad I did. Very fresh, beautiful presentation. Crisp tofu and the noodle to salad ratio was perfect. read more

Ordered two kids combo and one pho with soft tendon and a port springroll. I got my soup wrong twice, kids egg roll never came out, shrimp springroll came out. Also, my husband was picking up from the store after work about 8:30 and they had their open sign off and all the tables pushed to the side and chairs up.
