Receipt of food delivery that never happened.
    Cindy B.

I ordered food for a girlfriend whom has recent back surgery and unable to move much as part of a meal train for her. 8 live over 50 miles away in an area that gets no delivery service at all so the idea of delivery to not something I'm super familiar with. I ordered from King Noodle website, asked for ASAP delivery and received the attached texts. I assumed everything had gone as planned and went into a movie where I was unavailable. My phone is set up to not answer unknown calls, at 845pm I found our my girlfriend never received her food at all! Upon calling the restaurant, they were closed and beyond menu has no contact information except an email. I feel Wolfgang sure didn't earn that tip I included!! Edit: the restaurant did reach out to me and helped discuss a resolution.

We were looking for a new place to try and decided on King Noodle. Service was fast and super friendly and accommodating. The crab rangoons are not sweet thank god, you could really taste the green onion too. We also ordered the spicy tuna sushi roll, sooooooo good and a great size! We shared a beef with broccoli meal with fried rice and I was beyond glad that the brown sauce wasn't sweet! Everything tasted fresh, we will DEFINITELY BE BACK!

We had a delightful, quiet Monday evening at King noodle. The service was excellent, friendly, and quick. I had the P1 eye round steak pho which was wonderful! This will be my new place for pho! BF had B3 vermicelli charbroiled pork and he loved it! We also shared an order of pork egg rolls which came with sweet & sour sauce. They were fresh & delicious. Happily they are also close to our house and we will be back soon!

Chicken spring rolls, meatball/tofu pho, and taro boba tea.

I just moved to Texas 9 days ago and have already been here twice! So far, everything I've had has been very fresh and high quality. The bean sprouts are crisp (and don't have a bunch of tails), the pho broth is flavorful (and the meatballs don't have too much fat), the milk tea is just the right amount of sweet, the spring rolls come with an excellent peanut sauce that's not too thick yet not too runny, and they're flexible about making changes to menu items (such as choosing different pho broths or adding/removing ingredients). I especially like that they've never been busy when I've gone, so there's typically less than 5 occupied tables and there's an ample amount of parking available. As far as atmosphere, the lighting is low and the decorations are minimal. They have a large fish tank and I noticed that there were two sick Koi (erratic swimming and scale shedding) the first time I visited who were gone the second time I stopped in for lunch, so I'm concerned that the fish tank is overcrowded or that there's bacteria present. The prices are also a bit high for my taste. The meatball and tofu pho with taro milk tea plus chicken spring rolls was $36, whereas I could get the same thing at my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Madison, WI for around $25. However, I understand that prices differ from state-to-state and I'm no longer living in Wisconsin so it wouldn't be fair for me to compare those prices. The male staff member is very straight forward and rarely smiles so some people may view him as rude but I don't think that's the case. I've seen him eat lunch, have a meeting, answer the phone, AND clean the fish tank all while promptly serving customers and remembering orders without even writing them down. It takes skill to be able to shuffle between that many activities at once while keeping your sanity intact, so if that's not an experienced and admirable work ethic then I don't know what is!

I stopped in for a quick bite for lunch. I was promptly greeted and sat. When I told the server I only had 30 minutes he was super attentive and kept me on schedule. I had a wonderful bowl of piping hot beef Pho. This definitely satisfied my craving and I will definitely be back!

We came here around 8pm, even though it was almost the time they are going to close but staff here still very friendly and gave us good service : ) Food was good, place was very clean and service was great

Mmmmmmm yummy fresh noodles with decent portions of meat and fresh veggies in all the food. My friend and I had to give it a try....the prices are a bit high...but the portions of food and the high quality justify it. I HAD THE SPICY BEEF NOODLE SOUP....SOOO GOOD AND I am stuffed from the large portion(see picture)

    Rice Noodle Pho with chicken.

The food was fresh and very well prepared. I ordered the fried pork egg rolls, but they were a little over cooked.. almost burnt on the outside. Egg drop soup was very good. The chicken Pho was good but I didn't like the chicken that much. I'll try the vegetable Pho next time. Even though it's the same price. The service is good for only having one person doing everything. Overall I would recommend this place.

    Dining lobby

Hmmm.... This is an establishment that is small, has a loyal consumer base and regulars, as the owner/host knows them by name. However, I can't help feeling like this is a tremendous missed opportunity of a restaurant. Nestled in cedar park, the facade is in an updated strip mall but its windows are in need of some attention. Upon entry, after being seated, you are inundated with modern and traditional Asian culture. It's an amalgamation combined fine dining do's and don't's. ‍ That being said, onto the food!! I ordered a dragon roll that was pretty delicious!! And you can watch the chef make it. My entree was a teriyaki chicken bento box. My only drawback was that my chicken looked like sesame chicken and tasted like orange chicken. I like all three so, I guess, it was a win-win-win?!..‍. The atmosphere left room for improvement; the owner served as the host, and sole waiter. With the minimal foot traffic this works for them.

Best noodles I ever had! nancy is such a nice lady she always welcome us with a big smile I love the place and the service is great!

Szechuan Tofu with Veggie Spring Rolls
    Anders N.

Special thanks to the delivery driver for including chopsticks! Order arrived on time and was a good temperature. Decided to try their Szechuan Tofu and Veggie Spring Rolls. The Szechuan tofu was good but didn't have the mouth numbing heat to it that I was hoping for. The heat level was decent though and had a good burn! Even though the tofu looked like it had been marinated, it was not as flavorful as I was expecting either. I like that they used extra firm tofu for the dish and it had a nice chewiness to it though. The veggies that came with the sauce were good too and they added a needed crunch to the dish. The veggie spring rolls were a last minute decision and I'm glad I made it! They came with a peanut dipping sauce along with chili garlic. The peanut sauce was more on the sweet side and had less of a nutty taste to it but was overall refreshing to have alongside the Szechuan dish. I do wish they had packed some tofu into these but I enjoyed them still! Will check out some other dishes from here in the future.

Good food. Prices average. Not crowded off lunch hour. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

I used to give this place five stars, but today I wasn't pleased with the owner or the lady worker. They were quite impolite and did not have my dinner ready when I arrived. The to-go orders I placed using the DoorDash app a 30-minute ahead. When I arrived I requested an update, and the owner rudely replied, "I don't know!" No wonder they received negative reviews--the food was also not as nice as it was. Despite there being few customers, they are still slowly making food in time. I hope they will be gone asap! But for sure they won't have my business nearly $80 each time! Bye!!

Young kids doing hard work on a friday evening instead of partying. And they did a great job!!! Second, the food: We had the soup dumplings, the won ton in the chili sauce, the minced pork noodle and the stir fry noodles with beef. The food was amazing, could be a little bit more spicy though, but they have some hot sauces and chili oil to turn it up a notch. The noodles were perfectly cooked, not to soft and not al dente. Prices are good, portions are plenty. Also, they have these super delicious garlicky cucumbers in a savory sauce/dressing at the self serve section. I should have taken more of those. It's a neat little place, they also have these cute little booths outside. I already know what i will try next time we go there. This place is up my (noodle) alley!

I ordered their most popular red braised beef short rib and honestly, it was a bit disappointing. The broth was very bland and I had to put more salt and some soy sauce in it to finish the dish. The meat itself was a mix between tender and dry. Surprised this is considered their most popular... My husband ordered their dan dan noodles with 1/2 spicy and he really enjoyed his dish, but the 1/2 spicy was still too spicy for him. We also ordered their spicy wonton and let's just say, we've had better. The appetizer came with 5 tiny pieces of wonton and again, the flavor is just not there. A bit disappointing to say the least. The only thing I liked was their cucumber salad, but that's a pretty basic appetizer that most taiwanese restaurants have. It's nice that it's complimentary, but that's about it. Overall, it was just an ok for me. We may be back to try something new, but for their most popular dish being meh to me, it's really up in the air. Restaurant had plenty of seats and was pretty clean. Servers were nice and attentive.

Been meaning to try this place for a few years, and I finally made the drive up to Cedar Park to…read moretry what many online threads claim is the most authentic ramen in the area. The broth is delicate -- dashi-forward and mellow. One thing Ramen 512 does really well is the condiment setup. The way a diner has salt, pepper, ketchup, and Tabasco on the table, Ramen 512 offers togarashi, black pepper, rice vinegar, and chili oil -- exactly what a ramen shop should have. Since the broth was a bit light for my taste, I used the chili oil and pepper to dial it in. The noodles are thin and slightly soft, reminiscent of chūka soba. Not bad, but not my favorite style. The ajitsuke tamago (seasoned egg) is decent. The menma (bamboo shoots) were cut too thick. I ordered extra scallions but didn't get much. The chashu meat was chicken, which is fine. The internet isn't wrong -- this is authentic ramen, faithful to its roots. But it's also firmly mid. In Japan, ramen exists on a spectrum: there are bowls people line up hours for, and there are bowls you grab at an airport or a food court -- perfectly respectable, just unremarkable. Ramen 512 lives closer to the latter. It respects the craft without pushing it forward. It won't make you count the days until your next visit. But it's a solid neighborhood bowl, and I'm glad it exists. **8/10**

Ramen512 is by far the best spot for traditional and authentic Japanese ramen in the north Austin…read morearea! Everything they serve is made from scratch including their noodles and broth but the pricing is incredibly reasonable. Their customer service is top-notch which is just the icing on the cake! FAST FACTS: * Parking - located in a shopping center with a large parking lot * Reservations - no but you put your name into a tablet when you arrive to join the queue if there's a wait * Online ordering - available for pickup on their website * Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays * Weekly specials available until sold out (check their Instagram or Facebook) SERVICE - We arrived at 6:35 pm on a Sunday and were 4th in line after joining the queue through the tablet. Our table was ready at 7:00 pm and one of the workers kept us updated about the status of our table several times while we waited. Once seated, there is a QR code on the table to scan and place your order. Our server brought water to the table right away and checked on us throughout the meal to make sure we had what we needed. All of our food was prepared and delivered to the table about 10 minutes after ordering. I was incredibly impressed by the customer service! PRICING - The total was $67.65 after tax ($5.15) but before tip for a chicken karaage ($8), signature shoyu ($17) with extra spinach ($1.50) and extra kikurage mushrooms ($1.50), classic tonkotsu ($17), and black tonkotsu ($17.50). I think the pricing is reasonable for the quality of ingreidents and portion size. CHICKEN KARAGAGE (8/10): The chicken is incredibly juicy and tender while the coating is crispy! The Japanese mayo on the side for dipping is delicious. It comes with several large pieces so it's a great option for an appetizer to share. SIGNATURE SHOYU (8/10): This is a Tokyo-style shoyu ramen with chicken and dashi broth that's savory, umami, and a little tangy. It comes with pork chashu (I subbed chicken for no extra cost), homemade noodles, spinach, bamboo shoot, scallion, nori, Japanese fish cake, and half a soy egg. I added extra spinach and kikurage mushrooms for $1.50 each. CLASSIC TONKOTSU (9/10): This has a rich and creamy pork broth with a savory umami flavor. It comes with pork chashu, homemade noodles, kikurage mushrooms, beni shoga, scallions, nori, and half a soy egg. This is definitely a must-order if it's your first time! BLACK TONKOTSU (8/10): This has a rich and creamy pork broth with black garlic oil. It comes with pork chashu, homemade noodles, kikurage mushrooms, beni shoga, scallions, nori, garlic chips, and half a soy egg. All the flavors pair well together but the garlic does overpower the pork flavor in the broth (but I think that's to be expected if you're ordering a black garlic tonkotsu). Honestly, there's nothing not to love about Ramen512... from the service to the ingredients to the pricing, it has everything you could want and more. Eventually, I'd love to try everything on the menu because there are so many great options! The interior has counter seating like what you would traditionally see at a ramen shop in Japan as well as tables so it's perfect for enjoying a meal by yourself or with your entire family. I would recommend Ramen512 to anyone in the north Austin area looking for authentic Japanese ramen at a reasonable price!
