    Drives almost like new!
    Dan F.

Steve has quite a unique group of guys who are really good at their specialty. The Driveshaft crew led by Luke is exceptionally good with their knowledge of yokes, universal joints, shafts and balancing. The rear end / differential crew led by Kyle is also exceptionally skilled in their areas of expertise. My job was a complex series of repairs not uncommon for a 1967 Pontiac GTO that had been neglected by the previous owner. After a month of the below summarized repairs, I now have a "daily driver" muscle car: * Replace both Driveline Universal Joints and Balance Driveshaft * Replace rear axle bearings, seals & fluid * Differential Rebuild * Replace Front wheel hubs, bearings and replace seals * Replace all brake drums, service and adjust * Replace posi-trac, 3.73 gear ring & pinion, wheel bearings and seals * Replace shock absorbers * Replace differential fluid after 500 mile break-in period If you have work done here, tell them GTO Dan sent you!

The peace they forgot to fix / was not like that when droped off

I brought my car a few month ago and I didn't know it was hit and was fixed without me being informed was fix the cheapest way and did think I would notice I had a tracker on my car and called the body shop place and they sent me these pictures from the Inpack of the car hitting it broke the side of the bumper and was not fixed was told is not fix able and would need new Bumber and paint would around up to 500 with paint and labor once's I get feed back I'll remove my comment but there's a lot in your reviews so there's no difference (602) 697-6669

Blown front tire and fender crushed

In the beginning I felt like I was in good hands and although I felt the pricing was a bit on the steep side I also felt they knew what they where doing. I had some front end work done as well as completely redone front brakes (3 days). After picking up my truck I didn't feel lie the front end was has I was promised so I took it back the next day (2 more days). After picking it up the next time I had to head to Kanab UT for work, the front end was still not quite right and by the time I hit Flagstaff my brakes where squeaking like a pig. On my return I suffered a front tire blowout on the highway at 70. I had damage to the front fender, bumper, windshield , running bars and doors out of alignment and was concerned about the front end so I got it back to have it looked over. The new front brakes where seized (). They told me the could handle all the body work because they worked with a body shop. Almost 2 months later I get the truck back and the body put a aftermarket windshield in for $850.00, didn't replace the front bumper , just painted it. (Mounting brackets broken) and now because they already paid the body shop Steve Griffin (Phoenix Rack & Axle) tells me I have no recourse in getting the factory windshield (with F-250 Super Duty) or the bumper replaced. My feeling is if they say they can handle everything in house they should stand behind that and have my windshield and bumper taken care of but Steve tells me there's nothing they can do. I say, that's crap business.

Have nothing but good things to say about this place. Rebuilt the driveshaft in my TJ for a fair price, done within an hour while I waited, by some very nice family people. Also got lots of good conversation and free advice. What else can you ask for?

When Steve called to let me know it was ready I was informed the rack was fine and a hose just wasn't tight enough.

He was on time, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. He explained everything in a way that made sense, didn't try to upsell anything unnecessary, and made sure the job was done right. My A/C is now blowing cold again like it should, and the car is running perfectly. You can tell he takes pride in his work and cares about doing a quality job. On top of that, the convenience of him coming to me saved a lot of time and hassle. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking for reliable and honest mobile mechanic work.

I am giving two stars because of the only positives: they scheduled my inspection within a few days…read moreof calling and Justin, the technician that arrived, was very nice. However, I am very disappointed with the level of expertise and outcome of the visit. My 2014 Jeep compass has had the check engine light on for a week, steering locked up last week, and has had delayed clicking start. Justin arrived, I gave him the full history of my vehicle (no problems for 10 years) and the issues occurring the last month or so which prompted the call. He started running tests, even drove the car around to see if he could replicate what I had been experiencing. About 30 minutes into the visit he said he couldn't replicate any of the issues; that's okay, as I mentioned it only happened about 50% of the time. But he sat in my car another 20-30 minutes or so, told me he had to call his boss because he was completely stumped. Not really what you want to hear, but even I started making suggestions of what it could be so he could at least do something for me. At the end of the visit he basically just said "sorry I have no idea what's wrong, maybe replace your battery?"... the only thing he found was a sensor on my engine needed replacement, but it's totally unrelated to the other issues. I ended up having to pay $150 for literally no better idea what's wrong with my car and not feeling any safer to drive it. It was a huge waste of my time and now I'm out $150, and I still had to take it to another shop that already figured out the problem not even 24 hours later. Save yourself some money and go to a real auto shop. I understand that some technicians may be learning or lack the knowledge to dive deeper, but someone should be going with them to assist so your customers aren't left feeling robbed and confused.
