Touch ID sensor not working on my replacement iPad

They ultimately replaced my iPad with a functional one, been using it about a month and it has worked well. They also refunded me for the issues. Not the best experience, but in the end they did what they could and for that I have updated the review to 2.5 stars, which yelp can't do so it shows up as 3.

Scratches under the glass that weren't there before the replacement

I had my girlfriend's iPhone 14 Pro Max's back screen replaced after being shattered but still intact under the case. The employee replaced the back screen and we bought a new case after being told it was a strong case that would likely keep the phone from breaking again. We noticed upon getting home there were a few bubbles and small scratches under the new back glass. After just a few days after dropping the phone from maybe 2 feet due to the plastic of the new case being very slick almost slippery material the back glass shattered again much worse than the initial break(chunks of glass falling off phone). We brought the phone back hoping to have the new broken glass replaced after explaining the bubbles/scratches/ and how horrible the new case was. He offered a $20 discount after admitting he scratched the phone and me explaining the air bubbles that were left under the glass. I feel more should have been done since the replacement job was obviously botched in the first place.

Before my phone was fixed.. it now looks brand new

These guys are amazing & very professional. I called in for my daughter's iPad that had a headphone…read morejack socket issue (pin broke and was stuck). I didn't have apple care and the iPad was barely 4 months new, they fixed it in 5 mins(they have proper tools) and didn't charge me a penny. Other places I called wanted $50-$95 & were up seling me for a total port replacement. On calling them- they asked me to come in and said they'll take a look and would fix if it's possible 'free of cost' only if it's doable with the tools they had. I will go back here moving fwd for all my phone/iPad issues and I highly recommend them. Much appreciate them and their gesture in today's age & time.

According to the "tech", the screen cracked when they disassembled it due to corrosion from being exposed to moisture, so essentially they broke my phone. Whether or not their story is true, or if they just broke it and didn't want to accept responsibility, well I guess that's a question that only them and the Lord knows the answer to. Interestingly, for just an extra $100, I could buy a new screen and replace the one that they broke. Anyway, this was at 7 pm and I needed the phone for work the next morning so going out and getting a new phone wasn't really an option. I guess they know they got you in a pickle. I'll give them two stars seeing as the tech did seem to genuinely feel bad and threw in a "free" screen protector to make up for it. Next time, go to Apple or BestBuy or at least somewhere that doesn't engage in shady business practices and will stand behind their work.
