Tried Pho Van because of Yelp reviews and they did not disappoint. I had the #8 and the Banh Mi sandwich. Both where a treat and full of flavor. I also had their Thai Ice Tea and it was delicious and the perfect thirst quencher while enjoying the hot and spicy pho. On my second visit I had the #8, Thai Ice Tea and the Vietnamese Ice Coffee. Again, extremely flavorful and the coffee was a great dessert drink to finish it off. Can't wait to go back read more

The food is really really good! The pho is absolutely amazing It tastes so great! The service however is terrible. Make sure you are not in a hurry when you go. It takes them a long time to wait on you, and they definitely do not clear tables. They are also abrupt and sometimes act like they are annoyed that you are there. The ambiance is okay. Like many of these types of restaurants around Spokane it needs to be updated and cleaned. Honestly though the food is amazing so you don't mind the dirty tables and having to wait for someone to wait on you. read more

Pho Van is a decent place for pho with clean surroundings, fancy ambiance and great service. Thumbs up for the big portions on their rice plates. This place is located on division street and their parking lot is small. So try to carpool if you are coming with a big group! The outside of building looks a little sketchy but inside is pretty clean and big. Their service is pretty fast and their pho is alright (not the best one I've tasted in Spokane though). Price is tinyyy bit more expensive than other regular pho restaurants. I wouldn't say it's my favorite restaurant but if i was in the area, I would come. read more

I know I'm not in LA anymore... so for Spokane, this will have to do. Albeit tis my first pho experience in land of few asians, I was quite impressed with a few things.... 1) easy parking 2) big portions 3) great service 4) nice ambiance and the taste... was okay. Not what I'm used to in LA, but not entirely bad for just some cold pho experience. I had the dried pho with the fish sauce poured over it with beef and egg rolls (very different than the ones in LA that are deep fried and wrapped in green lettuce), my husband had the rice dish which was also not so bad, and let's just say I'll be back to see how the hot soup pho is... winter time maybe...! best tofu bahn mis ever! fast and friendly service that feels like family. here's what i got: a great atmosphere and ambiance and vibe filled with other people. great food for a good price and for great people. i wish they had vegetarian pho and also more vegetarian appetizers *sigh*.... This business has been here for some time now, and I am happy to see it grow to what it is today. It is always Phontastic to come here during cold days and when you're battling with some sort of flu or bug. I love how the staff has always been very friendly throughout the years. The taste has gotten better as the time goes by, just like a good simmered broth it takes time to get the great flavors. My only concern during this visit was slow service from the staff. I understand that it has been a full house coming to this place on most days, but I hope they would be able to step up in that area. read more

Nothing quicker in losing my appetite than getting a fresh serving of your pho goodness, and out comes the cart to clear the nearby tables. Not many options in Spokane, am here on business and was craving beef and potatoes (viet style) but settled for a restaurant with good items listed! This place is pretty decent, not too busy when I came in on a tuesday night, was able to sit anywhere, cute modern looking decor with some splashes of the usual asian pieces. I ordered spring rolls and the Bun thit nuong (rice noodles with grilled pork). The spring rolls came out literally right after the waitress left with my order, they were fresh and tasty. The Bun thit nuong came out pretty soon after, the bowl was HUGE. Noodles, fish sauce and meat were cooked perfectly and tasted great. Only complaint was that there were a lot of bean sprouts, which I am not a fan of and if I am back in town will remember to ask for without. Overall was able to get a quick meal and a very cheap price. I would come back again but might try the other spots I saw through Yelp! for vietnamese food as well. read more

I arrived for lunch about 1:30. There was a few folks there, but the lunch rush was over. Seated immediately and the service was excellent there on. The interior was warm and clean. I ordered a large, rare beef and 'balls. It was served with in about a minute! I did notice their large was as big as my usual places' small bowl. And it was about $3 more. The basil was fresh and fragrant, and the bean sprouts cold and crunchy. The hot broth smelled wonderful and there was plenty of meat. I enjoyed the entire bowl on a cold dreary day. Nothing negative to say except the cost didn't justify the bowl size. I can get this same order in at least 2 other places that are equally as good and $3 less expensive. We came here for lunch it looks like anything on the menu is wonderful. I had the grilled pork Vietnamese sandwich. My kids had rare steak Pho. I was craving some soup and was in search for some good Pho. This place definitely hits the spot! My husband and I both ordered the Pho Tai (rare beef noodle soup) and their broth was pretty good! We ordered it in a large and the portion was great. Every time I try Pho, I'm always concerned with the broth because that's what makes the soup so good and this place didn't disappoint. The service on the other hand was meeeeh... The server only checked up on us once (kinda) only when the food was brought to us. We never got any of our waters refilled either. But, I'm not surprised at all because being Asian and have gone to many restaurants I've learned that Asian restaurants (most of them) don't have the best service but their food is amaaaazing. My husband and I just ate here. The food was good. He had the pho with steak and tendon. Really nice flavor. I had the orange chicken with chow mein. I enjoyed the chow mein. The chicken itself was alright. I drank all my water and no one checked on us after the food was delivered. I wanted to give less stars for service. For that alone I'd give it 2 1/2 or 3. There was a group of girls that were rudely and loudly talking to someone on FaceTime. In a restaurant! We hoped they would see us staring as from a few tables away we could hear them. My husband asked a young guy working if he could ask them to turn it down so he (my husband) wouldn't have to get up and say something. The kid practically scoffed at him, said nothing and walked back to the kitchen. Since moving to Spokane almost a decade ago I have yet to have Pho here. I've had in other larger cities and it's always been "ok" I guess just nothing memorable which is probably why I haven't eaten any here yet. We recently were sick and my usual when sick since being a kid is yummy won ton soup with a real bone stock broth. This time however I was in the mood for something different but still along the same lines. So I decided to try Pho again, finally!! OMG am I glad I did and so glad I picked Pho Van even though there are closer places to me in the Valley. For whatever reason PV menu sounded more appealing. Restaurants really should consider adding better or some kind of description of the dishes, because if you're not familiar it makes it hard to make a choice. This is one reason PV appealed to me, we were ordering delivery and the menu had great details about the dishes. We ordered the won ton and pho tai with beef chow fun and spring rolls with shrimp. Absolutely everything was delicious!! You can tell they use a real stock! The flavors were so fresh with all the sides of mint, sprouts, cilantro, green onions. Omg I just fell in love! I had the Pho which was good, not over the top great but good. My friend had the sweet and sour chicken which looked amazing and was said to be really good and my other friend had the teriyaki chicken which looked even better and was said to be really good. They do really large pieces of chicken instead of the the smaller (and heavily breaded) kind with their sweet and sour and their teriyaki. I'll be going back, but not for the Pho. read more

This is our second time coming over here. The first time we came was during dinner and it was packed. Thee parking is pretty good. The place is very clean. This time we came during lunch time and it was very nice. I had the house special stir fried egg noodles and it was amazing. The portion was big and the flavor was outstanding. I was full half way through my meal but I couldn't stop eating because it was just so delicious. My husband had the soup and he truly enjoyed it. My mom got #26 which was sweet and sour and almond chicken combo with noodles and again the portion was very big. They have such a variety to choice from. This place has the best Vietnamese bistro in Spokane. The prices are also very good and the staff is very nice. I can't wait to come again read more
