Hidden Thai gem in the valley!!! Gosh I wish I had known about this place sooner. Every single dish came out piping hot and was so flavorful. I ordered one of their house specials which was pan woon sen and as a Filipina, this really reminded me of pancit. It was very comforting to eat and the shrimp were HUGE! Very attractive little restaurant. The Drunken Noddles were not "drunk". They did not taste very THAI, more like "American Taste".

Never made it up to their location in Mead, but finally hit'm on a shopping trip in SV. Impressive. Our entrees were excellent, but we really liked their take on Rangoons, which had nice, thin-crispy casings, and the creamy treasure inside. They are real careful with the heat level on meals, but you can ask for a little extra Thai Birdseye ground pepper on the side---and for me that just put it over the top. We stopped by on a Saturday night. Originally we planned on carrying out but on the phone, they warned us that it would be over an hour wait for that. So we decided to just come in and eat. There were plenty of tables available when we showed up and the waitress was doing a great job. I got the chicken pad Thai and my friend got the pad see ew. Both were perfectly spicy but both agreed neither were the best we'd ever had. Overall, good service and very affordable dishes. read more

Since Thai Garden in Deer Park shut down, had to find a new Thai favorite. Song Lan totally fits the bill and it's much closer! Can't go wrong with the Spring Rolls or Chicken Sauté. Ok, we used to go to Le Brothers and were a little bummed they closed. We've driven by this place several times and wondered... Well we now know this place is 100% AMAZING. The owner serves, answers the phone, and maybe a little bit of everything else, but the food for our pickup was ready on queue and the flavors were off the charts. It makes me wonder about that random 1 star review. I digress... the place pretty much still looks like Le Brothers, and being in a strip center with a skinny parking lot has its disadvantages on a busy night but do yourself a favor and check this joint out! read more

Love the food! The server is nice-- but the problem is-- there's only 1 server. They close at 7 PM but really at about 6:30 --6:45, they're winding down for the evening when we're just starting to think about dinner. We've tried going there several times and either the credit card machine is down, they're too busy to take another table, or they're done for the day. I understand work, life balance, and the fact that this is a family-run business but as a customer, it's disappointing in the mood for Thai and then have to go elsewhere. The other thing is the ambience really leaves a lot to be desired. The harsh overhead fluorescent lighting and cafeteria style seating doesn't lend itself towards a relaxing dining experience. this was a former Vietnamese restaurant and pho restaurants tend toward a cafeteria style experience--turn and burn-- and not really anything more. I would completely redo the dining room and add wait staff as well expand hours to truly make this an experience we can look forward to. For now, we are just going to get takeout from this place., which is a bummer. We love the food, but the dining experience is consistently disappointing. read more

They are way to busy only 1 girl and they never have the egg rolls always out. I saw 9 people leave.

Love the food but arrived at 624 and was turned away for dinner inn, very disappointed! If the sign says your dinning room closes at 7 don't close at 6:24. Bad business. I will return another day but not happy today. read more

I have eaten here now 4 times since their soft opening and have not been disappointed once. I caution that you need to be prepared for a longer wait than other restaurants, but this isn't a bad thing because your dish is being prepared fresh just for you! The first thing I try at any Thai restaurant is their Tom Kha and finally since moving to Washington have I found one that I truly enjoy besides the one I make myself. Everything I have eaten here has been great. My one complaint, which is with most places, the spice level never comes out as spicy as I would like. read more

They may have moved locations but they are not new to the Spokane Food Scene, their cuisine reflects that! The Song Lan Thai Restaurant is a Small local business is family owned & operated. I was heart broken when they closed their northside location & I missed having them so close but relieved they are still in Spokane to get my fix when needed. Finally made it into their new location. The food is mouth watering & the service is beyond spectacular. I've always ordered my favorite Stir-Fry Pad See Ew. I always skip the carrots, so usually that is included in the dish. It was just as I remembered. The fried spring rolls were cooked to crispy perfection. Check this place out, you won't be disappointed! read more

Some of the best Thai food in town! Every dish we have tried is delicious and Angela is awesome!

We've enjoyed the food and friendly service when it's possible to be served or have the phone answered but due to the inconsistent hours and only answering the phone every now and then it's just not worth the trouble. Other businesses are happy to see more customers but here it's like they hit their personal capacity and you're a little in the way or whoever cooks just isn't interested in extra customers. Really rooting for this small business to succeed but we'll need to notice a change before going back. read more

I've eaten here 5 times and had poor experience. Food: Hit and miss. The curry has weak and inconsistent flavors. The other dishes lack flavor too. Service: Slow, but understood as only the owner serving. She is not very friendly at times. I received a dirty fork (black and smelly food residue stuck between the fork teeth) and a spoon with a thumb print on it. I complained and she did not apologize. Just got me a new set and walked away without saying anything. Please focus on flavors and customer service or business won't last! I will not be going back unfortunately. read more

So great to have a Thai place in the valley! We stumbled on to this place as we were heading towards our regular Thai place and decided to try it. We got our usual- red curry with chicken and pineapple, with 3 stars for heat. It was creamy and spicy, just the way we like it. We will definitely be back.
