After moving from LA, I was honestly pretty skeptical how the food scene would be here in Spokane, so I'm extremely grateful that I found a Thai restaurant that hits the spot every time. Food -Pad see ew: Quite honestly one of the best pad see ew I've ever had. Not super salty or overly swimming in sauce like some places. Absolutely perfect. -Massaman curry: Coconuty, warm goodness without being too coconut-ny, if that makes sense. -Drunken noodles: Also a winner -Pad Thai: Ironically my least favorite dish from here, given their namesake. It was a little too dry, which I'm not sure is the authentic way to prepare it. If it is, that's totally fine-- just not my preference. Service: -Always super nice and quick Ambiance: -We always pick up to go, but there's plenty of tables inside and seems like a nice, clean place for a satisfying meal. 10/10 would recommend! read more

My experience here was really great! I had the Larb and the Green Papaya Salad. I had enough left over for lunch the next day. I look forward to coming back again when I'm in the neighborhood. The owner recommended that I try the Grilled Beef Salad with Sticky White Rice. Can't wait! read more

I ordered pad Thai w/ tofu, mild, for take out and it was pretty good! I will say I ate it cold because I had to do errands, which the lady ringing me up sort of warned me about so that's completely on me. But cold food often enhances certain undesired flavors and there was no odd flavors here. I've had pad thai before where there was too much fish sauce, used ketchup, etc etc. There was a decent portion and I think had I eaten it hot, it would've been a 5/5 which is why I am giving it a 5. However, the "mild" does not come through, there was no kick to it. I randomly stopped in on a quick break from work.Without looking at the menu, I ordered some fresh rolls. I didn't realize they weren't on the menu. But the server acknowledged that she knew what I was talking about and 15 minutes later I walked out with three of the best fresh rolls I've had in town. I am very disappointed by my experience here. We are on a road trip and wanted to grab a bite to eat on the way to Seattle. We called to make sure dine in is available and there are lunch options that include salad and something small in addition to the main dish (as most Thai places have). We get confirmation by the person on the phone and she also says that there is an available table for us to be seated right away. We arrive fifteen minutes later (we explained this on the phone) and there are two parties in the restaurant. She refuses to seat us, telling us that we have to wait for someone who is finishing up and is paying for the check soon. We stand around and look at the lunch menu for about 10 min. We are finally seated and order our lunch specials and she then says there are no more lunch specials due to Covid. Wait, what? We just called 15 minutes ago and you stated lunch specials are available. You made us drive and then lie about both availability to be seated and about lunch specials? We left - I am not giving my business to someone who can't be honest with me. I don't recommend this place and will not go back. read more

I just called and asked for the chicken fried rice. Truth is, I have ordered this a lot and have asked before that the rice be a little less dry (they have a problem with serving dry rice). The fried rice is good, it just requires a whole lot of water to go with it. Today when I ordered the more "wet" rice the order was originally taken. Within 2 minutes I recieved a call from the restaurant letting me know they were very much not happy with my order and wanted me to take my business elsewhere. I spent minutes on the phone with the person (non-english speaking) trying to understand there complaint about MY order only to be hung up on! Truth is I spent 4 minutes telling them I love there food and that the fried rice is always good but was and has always been a little dry (asking that they make it a little wet) only to be told that my MANY trips to there establishment was no longer appreciated (I have never complained of asked that they make a tweak on the food before). While the food has always been enjoyable (even though a little dry), I was angrily, and with prejudice, asked to get my takeout somewhere else from now on (a competator a 2 blocks away)! This is the first time I have ever asked that my order be changed (from dry food to less dry) and I am shocked that this owner would ever call me back to complain about changing her dry food to a more edible, smoother version! My hearts hurts right now! This has been a goo too place for me often! I was accused of many many thing by the owner in those 4 minutes and here I am just a guy trying to get take-out! We just got takeout for the second time from here and they are so grateful to have people be able to support them in this crisis. This food is in my top three take out choices in Spokane. It is so good and fresh and well-made and clean. I never feel heavy after eating it and everything tastes like they made it in your kitchen for you as far as the care and freshness. We got the Massamon curry, shrimp fried rice and broccoli delight. All three are exceptional choices. The portions are easily 2-3 meals for my husband and I with the entrees and fried rice. I told them to choose which fried rice was best and these shrimp they put all throughout are lightly panfried and are a good size and perfectly done. I would highly recommend this place. So glad we now have this place on the South Hill. Nice quiet location for dinner. Food was top notch and the Thai iced tea was the best I have ever had. It was very quiet when we went but I do not expect that to last long. It was a different Thai restaurant before and I hope people realize this place is new! I really wanted to love this place, as the flavors of the dishes were so unique compared to other Thai places, but there are too many issues here. We paid over $50 for 3 entrees for two of us to share and have leftovers, but we ended up throwing the leftovers away. The quality is very low, as we felt awful all evening after eating the food, and all of the dishes had a lot of black flakes in it, which is what happens when you don't clean your cookware in between uses - then the burnt on old food gets scraped into your food. They also are pretty skimpy with the vegetables. Its way too overpriced for the low quality, and we'll never be back for how horrible it made us feel, but if you want some truly authentic flavors and can handle lower quality foods, this might be the spot for you. read more

I have been going to their northside restaurant for years and was so happy they opened a south hill location. Their food is so flavorful, portions and prices are great and the service is terrific. I'm saving the Panang for dinner so we'll see how that goes. The thai tea is ok but either wasn't steeped long enough or has too much cream.
