We had to try this Indian restaurant. Parking is easy with a very large parking lot. They is room for at least ten groups of four at dinner. We started with a chili gobhi which was absolutely fabulous. We then ordered four more dishes, shrimp vindaloo, butter chicken, lamb bhuna and goat kadai. We also ordered gobhi paratha and a garlic naan. The service was excellent. The tables were large and fit four people nicely. Drink prices were very reasonable. Overall a spectacular meal.

Tonight my friend Jenna and I tried the India House on the South Hill for dinner. Let me say, it was wonderful. We really liked the way it felt, the minute we walked in. It was a lot bigger on the inside than we had thought. It's clean and the booths have tall walls so you have a sense of privacy. Service was good. I ordered tomato soup to start. It was a very rustic soup. Not creamy, I really enjoyed it. I would definitely get it again. I even dunked my garlic naan in it, it was perfect. For our meals, Jenna and I both ordered the Fish Tandoori. It was a very good sized portion, there was plenty leftover for another meal (or two). We also tried their Garlic Naan. It was not chewy, it was light and flavored very well. I also brought home Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Boti, Raita, Naan, and Garlic Naan. Their prices are reasonable. We liked our visit and will come back to try their lunch buffet.

I've been in several times. I've ordered a single entree and I also tried the buffet. The food is fresh and tastes authentic. The Manager is always very nice. We have several Indian restaurants in Spokane, but this is definitely my favorite!

Great lunch buffet and a peaceful atmosphere! Eduardo takes good care of us. Drink prices are very reasonable, including alcoholic beverages. I often order a mango lassi to drink and a second one to-go because they are THAT good (sweet, fruity, and creamy). Once we discovered this place, my family has eaten here 4 times this summer. The lunch buffet offerings include butter chicken, chicken Tikka masala, rice, naan bread, a variety of other dishes including a tasty vegetarian dish with either fried tofu or cauliflower (my favorite), fresh fruit, veggies, chickpea salad, and onion salad. Some dishes are mild, some have medium spiciness. It's an overall good value.

Stuffed naan. Golden raisins and pistachios.

Indian is my favorite type of international cuisine so we try to eat at all the Indian places in town. This one is our new favorite! The place settings and decor are nicer than we expected. It has more ambiance and attention to detail than a lot of Indian places we've been to. We had the chili Gobhi, chicken korma, and lamb nirvana. All were awesome! Really flavorful and just the right spice levels. Nirvana was the stand out. We also got two types of naan and they were cooked to perfection! Mine was stuffed with golden raisins and pistachios. The service was great too! We felt taken care of the whole time, and the waitress' recommendations were on point. We will definitely, definitely be back!

Chicken tikka masala has been my go to, anytime I try Indian cuisine, however after asking our server, he recommended the Chicken poprika. Let me tell you, that's my new go to plate, and their Garlic cheese nann goes along very well with both dishes. Servings were enough for two people, and enough for tomorrows lunch. Highly recommend food, service, and ambience.

So disappointed after all the word of mouth that India House is better than Mango Tree. Sorry, not true. The chicken korma I ordered, despite being a beautiful color, had absolutely zero flavor. Same with the stuffed naan. It was so bread-y and oddly had no other flavor, even being packed with coconut, pistachios and raisins. Very sad.

Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken. Pic doesn't do the unnatural neon colors justice.

Inedible. We've lived all over the country, this is probably the worst Indian food we've ever had. We gave it a try and ordered two simple dishes (chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken. They were neon in color and absolutely gross. The chicken tasted as if it had gone bad and the sauces were bland and tasteless despite the vibrant unnatural color. Took one bite and threw it away. Seriously, this was just gross. Usually I'll suffer through a bad meal because I paid good money for it. Not this one. We spent $60 and it went straight in the trash. Yeah, that bad.

They were out of some of the items for both, but the staff kindly offered to sub the items with whatever else. The Mighty had a great rich taste in the acai (probably the peanut butter) and we loved the pb drizzle on top. Also got it with bee pollen instead of cocoa, and that was a great texture and addition. The curry bowl had great taste, but could have been a bit warmer. Would have loved more curry so the ratio of curry to rice/quinoa was larger. Overall not disappointed and solid food! A little pricey, but that's expected for acai, I think.

Engaged. That energy? It carried straight into the store. Owner recommended the Mighty Bowl -- and when the owner speaks, The Açaí Guy listens. Wednesday, Feb 25. Two young ladies running the floor like seasoned veterans. Friendly. Fast. And here's what separated them: they actually knew açaí. Not just "point at the menu" knowledge -- real breakdowns. Explained bowl differences. Talked consistency. Understood structure. I was impressed. Best service I've had in the bowl game. Full stop. Presentation? Immaculate. We're talking "pause before you eat" levels. The place had a steady stream of downtown suits popping in for their late-morning "I make healthy choices" snack. Always a good sign. Everything looked fresh. Tasted fresh. Clean flavors. No shortcuts detected. Now -- the twist. The açaí consistency was thicker than I'm used to. Almost like a thick shake. At first I blinked. Then I nodded. Then I kept eating. It worked. Different, but effective. Great location. Perfect day for a bowl. And the most important metric: I felt great after eating it. No crash. No regret. Just fuel. Would I recommend it? Strongly. If you're in downtown Spokane and don't stop here, you're making a questionable life decision. My wife ordered the Glass Noodle Salad (zero stars) and I had the Chicken Pad Thai (three stars). She enjoyed her salad, but the photo is accurate with only two shrimp in it. That does fit the literal description of the salad, but it would have been nice with a couple more. She had the ginger dressing instead of the 'spicy' one in the description and enjoyed it. My Pad Thai was fine, but it kind of had a burnt or overdone taste. I couldn't place it, but there was definitely something off. My three stars did not seem to hit me with any heat. Another letdown for us was that it took a long time for our food to come out, but they were putting a lot of food delivery orders out. It's frustrating that finite amount of people in the restaurant are delayed by a potentially unlimited amount of app orders. The prices were a bit higher than a couple of our favorite Thai places in Spokane.

To start we booked a reservation so we could arrive during a time that worked for us. When we arrived at our reservation time we were instantly greeted by Jacob. He was friendly, warm, and really helpful with explaining the menu. The restaurant inside was intimate, but they shared they also had a patio. We had researched the menu before our reservation so we knew exactly what we wanted. We ordered the Pollo Asado, the Mango Chicken Enchiladas, and the Curry Rip and Dip for appetizer. To start, the Curry Rip and Dip was OUTSTANDING!!! The curry was rich, creamy, and had a hint of sweetness. The flaky flatbread parathas were were light, buttery, and paired well with the curry dip. I wish there was a dish that was bathed in this curry sauce. So good. The Pollo Asado was freshly grilled and came with a fresh corn salad and a bright cilantro sauce. The rice was fluffy and the lime brought everything to life! The Mango Enchiladas were saucy and filled with chicken. The cabbage slaw provides freshness and crunch, and the plate came with a generous helping. This was such a great experience overal. We cant wait to come back and try other items, but we will be sure to always order the Curry Rip and Dip!

Curry rip and dip: dare I say just okay? I wanted to love, and I do love the concept but something didn't work for me personally. I think I was envisioning a much more smoother curry, and it's more chunkier. I ate it all but probably wouldn't order again. I loved the paratha! Three amigos: the queso stole the show! I especially enjoyed the pico and the guac personally and found the guac to be exactly what I was expecting and the pico to be a tasty twist on a favorite of mine. Overall: great!
