Beef, pork , chicken, scallops, imitation crab, mussels plus sa large selection of vegetables, and sauces. Once you have everything the cooks take your bowl of selected items and grill them on a large circular grill and hands it back to you. It's all you can eat so you can try multiple combinations. Only reason we have this a 4/5 was the service. The host was great, food fantastic but our server wasn't managing her tables well. Twice another server saw us waiting and came to help. I was about to ask him if he could just cover our table because he deserved her tip. Outside of that we would go again. I really liked that whoever was managing the grill was doing a great job of training a new guy and keeping an eye on the cook of the food. It's yummy. You get to pick the ingredients and flavors. They recently renovated which was a big upgrade. They used to have carpet but they got new floors. Service is also good. The only reason I'm docking a star is that I think their cleanliness is not very good. I have witnessed the employees who changed / refill the cold ingredients not follow the FIFO rule and just put raw frozen meat on top of the other meat. So never eat the meat at the bottom of the barrel. I question the sanitation there. But overall it's yummy. read more

A fun spin on all you can eat. You pick your own ingredients and they cook them hibachi style. Lots of options, including a variety of sauces to flavor or spice up your meal. An absolutely unhinged place to not have a single bottle of hand sanitizer anywhere in the entire restaurant...and single stall restrooms of people actually want to wash their hands. Staff became defensive and shrugged off the suggestion that they keep hand sanitizer available. Said "well I usually just wash my hands". Like seriously? Look around. You can see people coming in from outside and not washing their hands before touching every tong in the restaurant. We get it. Whoever owns this place is a republican. Five of my friends and I had a terrific lunch on Sunday the 22nd. We all were surprised by the many choices of foods available from which we could choose in making up our plates. We throughly enjoyed watching the chef cooking our food on the huge metal grill and that we could go back to the available choices for seconds and more. The cleanliness was exceptional and the price excellent. We recommend the HuHot and we agreed to return again to have more get togethers. They burn tf outta our noodles, other than that it was great. The server was pleasant and the crab Rangoon was yummy, there's a moderate amount of ingredients. But again what good is that if the burn the hell out of it, I tried giving them a lot of broth with the noodles to see if I could get something edible back, he left the grill and we watched our food burn and he still served it to us. 1 Star I really wanted to like HuHot, but it was such a letdown. The food quality just wasn't there--everything tasted bland and overcooked, and the ingredients didn't seem super fresh. The whole experience felt chaotic, and the line for the grill took forever. On top of that, the cleanliness of the place wasn't great, which made me lose my appetite a bit. I've been coming here with my kids for a couple years. Im very disappointed in the food. I don't normally leave bad reviews but whatever is going on with the grill is not good. Our food was burnt, as in crispy crunchy, not good kinda burnt. The center was untouched, and it seems like they have a lot of new cooks but the last few times my family has been here they have been here so i know that's not the case. My food was SPICY and I didn't put anything spicy on it. I can understand a little bit of mix from other meals, but this was definitely not that. The customer service was fantastic and the staff was all kind. Our waiter Derek was AMAZING. He's been our waiter a few times. Always on top of refilling our drinks and taking away plates. read more

Back to this place again 2 years later. I felt like it looked cleaner than last time the moment I entered. It was probably because we arrived a little bit before 6 PM so it was too early for it to get dirty. Most of my first impressions are still true at this visit. Lots of bowls at the food bar were wet and some had food debris in them. People constantly grabbed a bowl then realized it was a bit dirty then put it back and grabbed another one, which is a good way to spread germs. Food bars looked clean when I got there then got very messy and dirty as more people came. I still have the same comment about their sauce bar as 2 years ago. The shields are too low and the ladles are too long, which makes it very inconvenient to get sauces and prone to spills. As expected, when I went back for round 2, sauces got spilled everywhere on the counter by people. Sauces are still not spicy enough. I mixed several 6-7 spicy level sauces and my food was still not spicy. I did enjoy the food more this time and my friend felt the same, but I wish they had something different that's exclusive for dinner time. Otherwise, we might as well only come here for lunch. Food is made to order with a ton of good vegetables to choose from as well as tofu. They have frozen thin meat which I don't care to try but a fellow diner enjoyed the chicken. If you go for dinner or on a Sunday they also have eggs and more meat options and soup and salad are included. The sauces are varied and you choose what you want, including level of spice. They have suggested combinations if you're not certain what to do. We always use a few more scoops of sauce than recommended because it makes the food super delicious. Service is decent and atmosphere is casual. Never disappointed eating here. read more

Went with my mom, we went through the line together but the cooks gave my food to some random lady who wasn't in line or didn't stay I her place, she didn't look and took my food. When the cooks gave me her food, I told them it wasn't mine and they did nothing ... they just let it sit there till the lady came back and got her correct food and she told them that she took mine, she didn't apologize and neither did the cooks, the cooks did nothing to make it right. There had been no line when we started but now the line was all the way around and I had to wait for my remade bowl for twenty minutes, the cooks did nothing. Also, our server didn't ask my mom (who had to sit alone for twenty minutes) anything, he never asked what took my food so long or anything! he never even checked on us, he'd just say "we cool" or "we chill" while walking pass ... so disappointing. read more

HuHot checks most of the boxes for me. Is it the ritzy place to go to? Definitely not, but you're going to stuff your face with delicious food along the way. Eat your heart out with as much food as you can handle while you're there and pay the piper later that day. Go to lunch so you can be content about a life choice for hours on end. What's fun about the vibe and experience is all the broths and sauces at the end of the bar, and all the meats in the beginning of the bar. It was fun going in focusing on the teriyaki craving I had, while my friend was fixing the curry craving he had. Going back and loading up on the pad Thai craving was satisfying too. It's just a fun time, pretty great tasting ingredients throughout the whole bar, friendly staff, plenty of space, and I hear they really take care of families throughout the week with specials. HuHot is our favorite Mongolian Grill in the area. Though it can get busy at peak times, they have enough cooking staff to keep the line moving quickly. The advantage of it being busy is that the food is always fresh. Sauces are super flavorful so be careful how much you use. They probably could spend a bit more time cleaning up the sauce table since it does get messy. Also, the design of the table itself makes it very difficult to reach in to the center (probably leading to much of the mess-call me, I'll help you redesign it). There's a lot to love here. I used to really enjoy this place but after they renovated, it's like they hired new cooks and didn't train them. My food was straight burnt. All the sauce had been cooked out so there was no flavor but burnt noodles. Very disappointing. The cooks were trying to pile as many bowls around the cooktop as possible so all the food was mixing and they could not get back to them fast enough. Prices are good, you have to pay for take out which they give you a huge bowl to put everything in (you'll need tons of sauce for the noodles or it may be dry) the drinks are wild, so many choices, just about every flavor coke/Pepsi/Ginger ale/lemonade and those fountain drinks are unlimited! Good place to eat. You create the dish, it's grilled right before your eyes, so delicious and filling.

A solid ok on this one. I love grilled food but this just wasn't anything special. My favorite part is definitely the sauces, but I could make the food more flavorful. This doesn't seem very Mongolian to me, but I don't know much about that. I just know it is a very Americanized situation in my opinion. They sat us and forgot us for a bit. Never brought my son's mac and cheese and the wait with social distancing to be in line didn't seem very sanitized. I mean people touch the handles of the serving spoons, and wait on the counters for their food, and the grill just was just dirty. I feel for the employees around a hot grill with no ventilation. If you are vegan, I would definitely avoid this as everything is cooked together and I don't know how they would accommodate it. My biggest issue is charging for to go boxes. The fact that we cannot take our food to go and they just throw it out or charge people for to go boxes is honestly a little unethical to me. They could let people use to go boxes for leftovers that we have already paid for and not have so much food waste. read more

Due to my daughter introducing me to this restaurant in SD my husband and I just ate at this one tonight :) Our waiter was Jeff and he was extremely nice and helpful with all my questions. Dinner comes with soup or salad and I ordered the Asian salad and omg it was so delicious!!!!! My only complaint would be you should be able to take home your leftovers, even if it's for a small additional price like Golden Corral does. I'm pretty small and the all you can eat is amazing it truly is. But one run up there is still to much food for me lol Still can't believe how long this has been here and I didn't even know about it. Always go here on my last day in Spokane on my way out of town, such a great place. Opens at 11am and they are ready to serve too! Thats usually when I show up. It is always clean and nicely lit, I like sitting by the windows and watching the traffic drive by.
