We had dinner on a Saturday night and there was no waiting. Service was ample, food was very good and portions were great for the value. We had the egg martabak appetizer, kake udon with salmon, and nasi goren fried rice, all delicious with a cold dry sake. We liked the artwork and decor. My boyfriend said that the men's room could have been cleaner, so we hope that wasn't the norm because restaurant cleanliness should be a priority. Overall, very tasty and we'd gladly return to try more menu items. read more

These guys are absolutely legit, and no, they are not the same folks who opened Kokoro Ramen. This family is making some of the best Japanese fare in the Spokane/Cd'A metro, and that just makes me want to come back and try their Indonesian menu items even more. Flavors were spot on with the Hibachi meals ordered; and, my Bakso Soup (meatball) was delicious on it's own, but made spectacular with the house made hot sauces they brought me to mix in. Best Japanese food in Spokane! We love this place The hibachi chicken and shrimp is so large it lasts two meals.

Able to accommodate larger groups. We loved the ambiance and noise level was also great. The food was plentiful and very, very good. We ordered the chicken and steak hibachi and it was enough for the 2 of us to share. The sushi rolls were also HUGE. I ordered a boba original tea and it was delicious. Service was excellent. Our family of four has been to Little Tokyo twice. Both times I smelled around and I can assure you that the dining room does NOT smell like sewage. In both visits we were, with one (1/8) exception, thrilled with what was served. The NY steak hibachi was glorious. The bento box is larger than most and everything was perfect. The Indonesian food was a bit different but appreciated by senior foodies and picky teens. The rendang was familiar and new at the same time. The mid tek tek is a massive fried rice with unique flavors and a lot of beef, chicken and shrimp. The one dish that we didn't like was their creamy ramen. It was very bland. Next time we go, we plan to try it again. Everything was so good, we may have been there on a bad day or something. Service was more than adequate. I went to Little Tokyo yesterday for the first time and was absolutely impressed. I had the Satay, the Gozu and the creamy Ramen. Each were delicious and comforting on a cold day. Service was excellent, food delivery was quick and piping hot. Sauces are fresh made, everything was memorable. Thank you I will be back for sure. read more

There was gunk on the inside of my husbands water cup and what looked like mold lines in mine. I have never walked out of a restaurant before but I did and I felt terrible, but it's not worth my family and I getting sick. I couldn't imagine the cleanliness of the kitchen. Please do better! We got there soon after it opened and the server got us our food with nice timing. What I particularly liked about this place was the atmosphere, I really like the walls and the decorations they have. I got the Hibachi NY steak and enjoyed it. The person I was with got the Hibachi shrimp which was also pretty good. I prefer the fried rice. The smell others have written about isn't really true, I do think they could use a candle and the place would be perfect. I also like the placemats they use. read more

Okay, their hours aren't great. They are closed on the weekends. That said, we were finally able to fit them into our schedule last week, and were very pleasantly surprised. Sushi may be the best I have had. We will definitely be going back. read more

We ordered our meals at about 5:55. First my ramen bowl comes out at 6:35 and my wife's comes out at 6:45. Hers was cold when it came out. We told them it was cold and the waitress said oh, let me tell the kitchen. We got up and left. Never in our 42 years together have we walked out of a restaurant like this. They were taking care of to go orders before they took care of the people who took the time on a rainy night to come in. And I tasted my ramen thinking hers would be out soon and it was bland. This place is going to be my new favorite! I ordered the shrimp hibachi and my husband ordered a bento box and they were both so delicious! The bento box comes with Onigiti and I was sad I didn't get one too because it was so good!! The prices were good for the amount of food you got and cheaper than all the other hibachi restaurants in the area. The service was great too! The restaurant inside is clean and nicely decorated!
