ordered #11 and #13 with spring rolls.
Hazellyn H.

The service here was so quick, and the gentlemen who took our order took it super fast but brought everything back accurately. The restaurant was pretty quiet but perfect for just eating and enjoying your company. They offer the thin noodles or fresh noodles, but do not offer the egg noodles. I ordered #13 with the fresh noodles, it was good!! 8/10 in my opinion. My boyfriend order a #11, and we shared spring rolls as an appetizer. Would definitely recommend this place for quick dinning that's still able to satisfy someone's pho craving!

Service was good, both staff were very nice. Clean and spacious. A little pricey, but I think a lot of places around here are pricey nowadays.

Soup is great and service was fast (came at 2 pm on a Friday so plenty of seating). Solid bowl of pho, definitely would come again to try their broken rice (the rice plates other people got looked really good). Edit; also ordered a Thai tea and it got to me in five seconds

This place is modern and spacious. There's a decent amount of parking in the plaza. There's a variety of different rice and noodle dishes. The portion sizes here are pretty good as well. The service is pretty good and the staff was friendly. Their combo pho was enjoyable and tasty. The broth was rich and flavorful. They serve the thick and thin noodles here. I like the amount of onions they put in the soup. They also have their own special chili sauce.

I'm sort of on an escapade to try different Pho places every week. This place has been here for a while so I decided why not go? I ordered a number 10 Pho and enjoyed the dish with delight. The flavor is about as good as anywhere else, you can consider it a fair purchase. Personally I find Pho Thin has the largest bowl sizes even without picking species sizes. Besides the usual, it's a regular restaurant with enough room to move around.

The special rice plate with grilled chicken it's very good I'd order it again

This place is delicious I love their pho especially the one with the large bone- clean broth tons of onions I'm here for it. I also think their broth is less salt forward and more actual bone broth

This place has the stamp of approval from me and my Vietnamese dad. Their pho is so good. There are not too many northern style pho places so it's nice to have this as an option. The northern style has a lot of green onions which I love. The one I got also cooks the meat with garlic which gives it a nice taste. The worker's are very sweet and are helpful when you have questions. I would definitely give this place a try if you've never had northern style pho before.

I took my north Vietnamese momma here and she said it is definitely not northern style since the broth was too sweet. Cua rang be (northern style square eggrolls) - this took forever to come out, and then it was an oily mess on the outside and frozen on the inside. We had to send it back. I don't think their oil was hot enough. Their special stir fry beef pho - the meat was in hard clumps, and not seasoned. Difficult to chew through. My mom ended up leaving all the meat since she couldn't chew through it. Gau bo vien- gau (fatty brisket) super hard to chew through. Bo vien was average. The fresh noodles were amazing, as well as the house made hot sauce. Also the little man who was our server was really sweet.

Pho with seared flank steak

Neighborhood spot that has Viet clients which is a good sign. Large spacious interior with booths. I have been here few times and I usually order the seared flank steak Pho with bits of garlic in there too... luv that they use plenty of scallions, quality is good and you get a side of sliced white onions with your pho, drizzle some hot sauce on there and take some with each spoonful... Next level flavors! Service is quick as usual in Pho spots, decor is a bit more ritzy with lighting accents. It's not the east side level but good enough for Milpitians...

Brisket and steak pho with fresh noodles and extra bowl to share. Chili paste (not sauce) and onions came free!

The restaurant itself is modern and air-conditioned! Not a huge crowd here because it's tucked away in a hidden plaza, but if anyone frequents the new Pinoy BBQ, I highly suggest checking this pho joint out. Hot sauce and hoisin are in cute porcelain jars. Not sure why that matters but I feel like it takes effort to maintain cleanliness, plus the aesthetic is A+. Aaaaand in fact the hot sauce is ground chili paste, not sriracha. Appreciated! We shared the brisket and steak pho with fresh, wide noodles. The broth was perfectly seasoned, brisket was tender, and since I asked for the steak on the side, so it was done -- with beautiful presentation in mind. Onions were in a sweet vinaigrette (not just vinegar) which is something other restaurants charge extra for. WIN! Insofar as service, I appreciate having ordered just the run-of-the-mill, cheapest pho option and not feeling judged for asked for a small, empty bowl for teh sharingz of teh foodz. Melikes.

This is a clean n good pho place in Milpitas.. food is good n their PHO is good in a different way .. I eat here twice a week their menu is diversify I recommend this place

Pho Thin Truyen Thong (Special Stir-Fried Saute Steak Soup).

I have never been to Vietnam, but I tend to lean towards pho bac (Northern-style pho) whenever applicable. I like Dac Phuc, Pho Ha Noi, and Pho Co. When my family makes pho, it's always Northern -style. I cannot get my broth to taste like that. Something I continuously work on. Anyway. I don't get to be by myself much. When I do, I like to eat out by myself. I also like trying new restaurants so this past Saturday after dropping Gavin off to hangout w/ my cousin for a bit, I decided to try this place. This restaurant is took over Com Tam Thien Huong. It is across the street from Fosters Freeze. Clean restaurant. Staff ready to seat you and assist w/ your order. Service was incredibly fast. I didn't get to savior any silence during my time there. I ordered the #1: stir-fried sauté steak soup and an order of their dau chao quay (Chinese savory donut twists). The broth was clean, clear, light aromatics. I can taste the ginger. The sauté steak was tender. The dau chao quay was cripsy, light, and a touch of chewiness. I enjoyed their house made hot sauce. My broth is usually red but since I have never had this, I went mild to save my stomach. It wasn't spicy to me though but that is because I scooped a kid's portion of it into my broth. The pickled onions balanced all of the flavors together wonderfully. I will be back!

BrokenRice menu

This pho thin has changed their menu they add more appetizer and rice plate which is much better than before . This is my go to place for delicious pho and broken rice plate . I usually order #34 # 35 rice plate i would say this is the best broken rice restaurant in Milpitas / Fremont area . Portion is really big and i usually can't finish. The spring roll with bbq meat ball is also a must -try appetizer $7.99 , its freshly made and the skin is so soft that i can eat few rolls much better than pho ha noi :)

Simple menu. Love the fresh noodle and such generous portion of stir fried steak. Expect a line but it's worth the wait!

This is one of the best Dim Sum places if you're around the San Jose area! A small drive up to…read moreMilpitas, brings you to Yin Ji Chang Fen. They have a wide variety of choices to choose from. It looks like they specialize in Rice Noodles, so definitely give those a try! Let me just say everything that you order here comes out steaming hot so it's not your usual cart dim sum style. This was something that I tried for the first time and really appreciated! Some of the things I tried: Steamed pork and taro chunks 4/5 The steamed pork was so juicy and flavorful. They also throw in some taro chunks which I don't typically see, but it was delicious. A classic dish that's definitely worth trying. Thousand year old egg congee 4/5 The congee here comes in a GIGANTIC bowl. This is definitely something to order if going in a party of 3-4. The congee has such a home feel to it and it reminded me a lot of my grandma's congee. This was delicious. The only thing I would ask for is, I wish they had black pepper here, because that would make this dish pop out so much more Egg Rice Noodle 3/5 I saw this and it looked interesting, but it wasn't anything I found special. It was good, but not sure if I would get this again. If you're a huge fan of eggs maybe this dish is for you! Shrimp and chives Rice Noodle 5/5 This was really good, and I would order this again. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and everything was so flavorful with that oyster sauce poured over the rice noodles. I enjoyed this dish a lot, and a perfect order if you're going in a party of 3. Shrimp and chives dumpling 5/5 This is pretty similar to the rice noodle dish. One thing that I have to note is the dumpling was very soft. I preferred this a lot, since my experience with this dish is many dim sum places tend to make the skin of this dumpling really hard. This made it more enjoyable to eat. Siu Mai (Ground Pork and shrimp dumpling) 5/5 This is probably my favorite dim sum order and they nailed this one! When you take a bite into that dumpling, it is so juicy. It carries an amazing scent when you take a bite into it and I didn't really ever notice this with other Siu Mai order's. A classic order, definitely would order this one again. Service 5/5 There service here is exceptional and staff is amazing. Extremely helpful, they brought out some chili oil for us since it wasn't on the table. Food came out exceptionally quick. Everything was awesome! One thing to note, this place is pretty small so you will have to wait outside if you are on the waitlist. Check this place out, definitely a top tier dim sum place if you are looking for quality and price. Everything is very cheap and they also offer affordable rice plates (around $12-13) if you were looking for a quick meal togo!

Chang fen was silky, smooth and full of lean slices of pork. Taro root dumpling was delicate and fell apart as soon as we attempted to put it on our plates. Flavor was not what I anticipated. Look forward to returning for more chang fen.

There aren't many (any) Henan restaurants in Bay Area so this is a good addition to the mix of cuisines we get here. The restaurant is clean and cozy and service is attentive (the waitress walked me through their whole menu). Both dishes we ordered have flat wheat based noodles in it. The braised noodles soup feels a bit like Pan Mee from South East Asia except the soup from the steak (more like beef ribs) is super tasty deep beef broth (no hint of msg which is good). The big beef plate reminds me a bit of the Peruvian stir fry with the sliced and fried potatoes. What a great find and a great opportunity to try out Henan food. Will definitely come back again to try other dishes. Btw we were here on a weekday and the place is full!

I've had Liang Pi many times but this was the first time I had it served warm, and then hot in soup. Surprised how chewy the noodles were given they were warm and just made of starch (no gluten) I really enjoyed the various spicy condiments, gave some lamb soup more complexity. The dumpling while delicious, wasn't anything new-- definitely hand made as some of the dumpling skins were thicker than others. Service was pretty fast, the staff spoke English fluently so it helped when they explained some of the dishes. Would consider it again if I am in the area.
