Pho combination ! I prefer beef on the side .
Jenny M.

I didn't know that pho place existed, and since I was living in Plano, I never thought to go there to have pho. Now that I've moved to Richardson, a friend told me about the place. I tried it, and it wasn't as bad as others said. I've gone there three times and was never disappointed. If anyone is ordering to go, the best way to get hot pho is to reboil the soup and then add the remaining noodles and meat after the soup is boiled; don't put it in the microwave with the noodles together. I personally prefer softer noodles, so I will cook my pho noodles with the soup. If you don't like softer noodles, then boil the soup first and add it, then turn off the heat.

Ben Bo Hue

First time here. Ordered large Ben Bo Hue. First time having this dish and was great. Service was super fast only minutes to get my order. Great broth! Will order again.

Loved their Bun Bo hue! It was so good and I'm such a big critic for bun Bo hue. So much flavors and with everything in it. Their service was amazing as well. Such a great place to have lunch or dinner with friends and family. It felt so cozy inside. Their dry noodle with grilled pork and egg rolls was also good as well.

Was looking for a place that has good Bun Bo Hue; got a recommendation from a group on FB. Decided to take a drive and give this place a shot. The Bun Bo Hue did not disappoint, only wish that they serve it with block of blood

Spring rolls

I got the grilled pork vermicelli and the spring rolls and they were pretty good! I liked the peanut sauce the spring rolls came with but I thought that the meat in the spring rolls were a bit tough. The grilled pork in the vermicelli was seasoned well and was tender. The service was pretty quick and there was no wait for a table for 7.

Beef noodle soup (Pho) & Vietnamese spring roll

I have tried this pho place every single time when I visited Plano/Richardson area for work in last 5 years. Beef broth (soup) here is one of the best. We stopper by for a lunch on a stormy day. Perfect day. Isn't it? Spring rolls just hits the spot with their thick peanut sauce. Service is quick. They'll take the order from your table and you'll get your food within 10 minutes max. Didn't worry too much about their ambiance since I get a very good pho every single time. Hasn't changed one bit since 2022.

Hands down one of if not the best bowl of Bun Bo in DFW. Most locals I've spoken to have said the best is currently Pho An, I ask how? In what way? The bowl here at Tay Do is as I like to praise: "Đậm đà, đầy đủ". The broth is immensely flavorful and well rounded. They give you the sate mam ruoc on the side (Sate chilli mixed with fermented shrimp paste) which is the cherry on top - that's how you know this is legit Bun Bo. The Pho is also great here as well if someone in your party doesn't want the BBH

Bún thịt nướng is one of Vietnam's most beloved street food dishes and for good reason and you can find at PhonTay Do. . It's a vibrant bowl of grilled pork over rice vermicelli, layered with fresh herbs, pickled vegetables, crushed peanuts, and crispy shallots, all tied together with a drizzle of nước chấm, the sweet-savory fish sauce dressing that makes everything sing. Here's what makes a great bowl stand out: Key Elements of a Stellar Bún Thịt Nướng * Grilled Pork: Smoky, tender, and marinated in lemongrass, garlic, and fish sauce. The char is essential. * Fresh Herbs: Mint, basil, and cilantro add brightness and balance. * Pickled Veggies: Julienned carrots and daikon offer crunch and tang. * Nước Chấm: The soul of the dish. Sweet, salty, sour, and spicy in perfect harmony. If you've had a standout version recently, I'd love to hear what made it special--was it the pork, the herbs, or that perfect sauce ratio? We decided to have Vietnamese soup for breakfast. My daughter loved the broth and said she'll come back again. Service was very good.

Bun Bo hue

My grandpa got some blood work done and wanted to eat lunch right after. It was 9 am but a lot of Vietnamese restaurants are open early. We were the only people inside and our order was quickly taken. I got the bun Bo hue, which is a Vietnamese beef noodle soup. It comes with a huge veggie plate as well as a fermented fish paste and a sate chili sauce. They don't skimp on the meat here. I got tons of slices of meat and a single piece of Vietnamese ham. They also give you 4 pieces of bones with skin, meat, and fat around them. The broth is not that spicy unless you add a lot of the chili sate sauce. Overall I loved the meat, they were all tender. The broth however was not as good as I was expecting.

The Bun Bo Hue, hands down what they're known for among the community! Service is fast and quick, food came out pretty quickly. BBh was super flavorful, great spice! Look at that color!

I travel quite the distance to eat at this place, And each and every time, it is always worth it. This has to be my favorite BBH ever. Definitely stop by if you're in the area.

Best pho I've had in town! Love their chicken pho and their coconut juice is something I crave on a daily basis. It's a cozy ambiance, very casual. Quick service and kind employees. Definitely recommend going.

This is close enough, that I'm considering it Dallas. I liked everything we've chose. Soup dumplings- Xio lao bao and the pan fried dumpling were both delicious and surprisingly something that my children actually wanted to eat. This is more of an authentic restaurant, and so they don't even offer a french fries (childrens go-to food). So I was pleasantly surprised that they liked the dumblings enough to eat them all. The crab cheese puff was good, but the beef burrito was absolutely delicious. If choosing between those two- I would go for the burrito. The three pepper spicy chicken was also very good, and we especially liked the bang bang noodles with beef. It was a fun twist to have scissors and I love a location that makes their own noodles so that was fantastic. It would be great if we had them down in Houston. The only thing that I didn't love was the customer service. They we're not attentive, and I had to keep asking for things like straws for the cups, napkins and other basic things that you think they would bring out on their own. Overall, I'm not docking off any more stars because we were just grateful to have halal chinese options.

They also told us upfront to leave our dishes at the tables after eating for them to clean up afterwards. I ordered a gyudon with raw egg yolk for myself and a loaded fries to share. The food took awhile to come out - felt like 10-15 mins. It was a good amount of food. The food was very tasty. One of my coworkers got a katsu curry - he said it was good. For appetizers I ordered pork belly buns and veggie tempura. Pork belly was room temp and buns slightly warmer. I like pork belly with a little char or grilled, not boiled or steamed and definitely not room temperature. The veggie tempura was 2 pieces of zucchini, potato (not fully cooked) and butternut squash. Small portion and was undercooked. I would've sent it back to be fried more, had the waitress stopped back to check on the food. I ordered Spicy tonkatsu with extra Chasu. The extra chasu was served on a side plate, very small pieces which were not warm. The broth was thin was not hot and lacked any depth of flavor. Again, I would've asked for chili oil/sriracha and for it to be heated up, had the server returned. I think the waitress was new so hence to weak service. I suggest training wait staff in basic wait skills before turning them loose on their own. No check back after food was dropped and no drink refill. This was 2 stars for food, 3 stars for ambience and 2 stars for service. Because the waitress was (obviously) new I rounded up to 3 stars. Hopefully an off night.

The west lake soup is also a classic done so well - pro tip to add white pepper to give it a little kick. The steamed pork belly was okay - sauce is flavorful (a touch salty) along with the preserved greens but the pork wasn't as tender as I had remembered it. The fish filets are fried to perfection, full of salt/pepper flavor, and pairs well with the jalapeños. If you don't like fish, you can get the same flavor with the pork version of this dish, which I also really like.
