Pho T&T is an A-OK Pho Joint! The location is a little out of the way nestled in between commercial and industrial area. Pho here is surprisingly good starting at $6! The broth has a lot of flavour and not too salty. The noodle though not fresh, was cooked well without take of staleness that is really common with dried noodle. The beef flank was tender and soft, more like a tiny sliced beef brisket! Don't order Iced Vietnamese Coffee... I don't think anyone ever ordered it or something.. because the waitress was really confused and she does not even know how the coffee dripper works. Ended up I have a faulted ones and sitting there for 20 min staring at it.. only ended up with 1/8 cup of coffee.. I finally gave up and told the waitress please take that off my bill, I cannot wait for another hour for my coffee! Service here is nice and friendly. First time at a Vietnamese restaurant served by a Caucasian waitress..... Good place if you are in the area and want a Pho fix... but does not worth going out of your way to come here!

This is the best pho place in my opinion. Although it is a bit of a drive from where I live, driving all the way here for a nice big bowl of pho is worth it. The broth is very different from any other places I had that people rave about. You can taste the different herbs they use in the broth. This place is usually empty or only has a few customers when I go with my friends. But the pho is amazing!! I think it doesn't get many customers because of the area, so it's nice that it's not busy when we go. All my friends love the pho here as well and it is one of their favourites. The service I think could improve a bit as they are sometimes not attentive, but the owner is nice. They always give us sliced oranges after our meal. Their other dishes a great as well, like their vermicelli and other noodles in soup. I think the pho is the best here though.

Pho me and Pho you! Gave this place a try after hearing about it from friends. It's your typical holiday lights using, tacky furniture having (electric fireplace included) kind of Pho place located near an industrial area. The menu is large and well priced, featuring typical Vietnamese dishes along with a page of Thai options. I ordered the regular size house special Pho, filled with brisket, beef, noodles, and accompanied with the usual basil, lime, and bean sprouts to add. Flavours were great and probably the best made soup base I've tasted outside of Ho Chi Minh! The only downfall was that the soup lacked enough meat and noodles, kinda skimpy actually! I should've ordered the large just for myself. We also tried the fresh rolls which were filled with pork not shrimp as described on the menu. The vermicelli with spring rolls and chicken dish was an excellent choice and once you add the hot sauce, it's even better. Meals are finished off with the complementary orange slices to freshen ones palette! Great prices and convenience will bring me back real soon!

It's my first time in here, passed it many times but never gave it a second look. The place is simple with a huge menu, noodles rice and variety of dishes. I decided to go with the wonton soup, regular size which is more than enough to anyone really. The soup was really good, authentic and full of yummy stuff that I don't have any idea what it's called but it's good nevertheless. I am sure to return and check out some other menu items. Btw, price is more than reasonable.

A couple of Wednesdays ago, after work, I had an early dinner at this Pho Anh Vu on Highway 7 in Vaughan, between Keele and Jane streets. I have passed by this eatery a number of times since it opened. It was time to check it out. This location used to be Veg Italiano. There used to be a pho place a few doors down. It is now a Turkish eatery. This small plaza does have some turnover. However, the Turkish place and this eatery have been here for at least a couple of years. I hope they remain. I got here at around 3:30 pm. I had no problem finding a parking spot. I backed into a vacant one and walked in. I was immediately greeted by a male staffer. I got to sit wherever I wanted. I chose a booth by the window. I got menus to peruse. There were two other tables with customers. It was nice. Hot tea came to me with two cups. The hot tea was exceptionally piping hot. I used both cups to pour tea into them and let them cool. I was ready to order. It took a long time to get a server to come over. The woman at the counter noticed that I was ready and flagged the male server to take my order. I got these items: - Soda lemonade - Grilled chicken on vermicelli with spring rolls My soda lemonade came first. It was fizzy, cold, and refreshing. I loved it so much. I would get it again in a heartbeat. It also helped me down my food as I waited for my hot tea to cool down. When my tea was finally at a temperature that wouldn't scorch my tongue, it was fragrant and yummy. I loved the grilled chicken. It was flavourful and grilled to perfection. The vermicelli was generous and yummy. The spring rolls were stuffed and crispy. This dish came with dipping sauce that I ended up pouring on everything. I feel that I needed more of it. I paid at the counter with a debit card. I tapped and was good. This eatery got busy after 4 pm. My guess is that everyone came to watch the Canada-Switzerland FIFA game. It got tense in the place. Eventually, Canada lost this game. I used the washroom before I left. It was beautiful and clean. It's a decent location that serves good food. The tea was too hot. Service started off slow, but was a lot better once my order was place. I'd love to return to try more items off the menu. (280)

Ever since I discovered the spicy Curry Brisket Pho ($20.95), it has always been my go-to dish here all year-round. As creamy and thick as the broth appears, the intense Thai coconut curry flavours are perfect to slurp down in this modern fusion dish. We always order Pho Nam (XL $21.50) as well and both come loaded with a heaping portion of brisket slices in the piping hot noodle soup. From time-to-time, we also add the Banh Xeo savoury egg pancake which arrives on a huge plate even larger than the noodle bowls. Presented with a heap of greens & herbs, the crispy golden crepe is light and filled with bits of shrimp, pork, onions & bean sprouts. This is wrapped with the lettuce leaf for crunchy and refreshing bites. The menu prices have slowly but steadily increased over the past couple of years. There is still cash discount available. Not much has changed with the decor over the years in this spacious but dated restaurant interior. Service is always kind, fast and kid-friendly which is nice for young families. Skip it or hit it? I admit we don't visit as often as we used to all factors considered but boy that Curry Brisket Pho is something I crave.

My friend, Chris, suggested that we visit Vietnoms after a Yelp experience that made us crave something more. Luckily, it wasn't too far away. However, it was during rush hour on a Wednesday. We got here separately. This eatery is in a plaza that has a FreshCo anchoring it. The plaza has plenty of parking. I pulled into a spot and met up with Chris. This place has limited spots for dining inside. We had no problem grabbing a table. There is bar seating at the front. This place has a patio. However, it was too hot to sit outside, even with a large patio umbrella at each table. We were greeted and seated promptly. We got menus. This place has its regular menu and off-menu specials. Wow! I remember Crosstown BBQ had a collaboration with Vietnoms. Sadly, I missed it. Chris got these items: - Water - Banh mi dip My order consisted of these items: - Cold tea - Matcha lemonade - Rare beef and beef ball pho (small) I asked how large the large bowl of pho was. He pointed at a man's bowl. It was large, so I went small. The cold tea was refreshing. It came in a teapot. I loved it so much that I poured the remaining tea in my empty cup that once had my matcha lemonade. The drinks here are solid. I loved my matcha lemonade. There was no matcha powder grit in my drink. It was perfectly blended. The lemonade part had lemon preserve, which made it super yummy. I'd get this drink again in a heartbeat. My pho order was messed up. I spent a while trying to find beef balls. I realized that I had rare beef and beef brisket. It was also a large. Chris was the first to point out to our server that I didn't have any beef balls. I fished out the two types of proteins that were in my pho. He was apologetic and wanted to make things right. I frankly wasn't offended by this mistake. The proteins were yummy. The pho was excellent. Although it was a large, I was able to down it. The broth was delicious. Our server came over with a bowl of six beef balls and a lot of green onions in the broth. He apologized again. It was great that this place wanted to make everything right. For someone who wanted a small pho, I ended up with a massive meal. Thank goodness I didn't order an appetizer! I am a beef ball person. The beef balls hit the spot. The extra green onions made me so happy. I loved them. Chris enjoyed his banh mi dip. At first, he felt that the dip part was too salty. However, when we dipped his banh mi halves into it, the broth was fine. I need to get what he got next time. It looked incredible, especially the brisket in the baguette. I used the washroom before I left. It was compact and clean. No issues. We paid at the front counter. I paid with a credit card for both of us, as Chris had cash. I now have a running tab to pay him back. This place was awesome and a great suggestion. I suspect that dining here on a weekend would be difficult because it's such a small indoor dining area with limited seating. We came on a weeknight at nearly 6 pm and it was perfect. I'd return to get more good eats. It's an awesome addition to this plaza. (342)

I have been wishing to try this place for a long time. Recently I saw IG post showing their Bánh…read moreCanh Cua's generous crab portion.... so I could not wait and here I was today. Unfortunately, server told me that they ran out of crab, which is understandable as this is apparently a popular item. But I could not believe what the server said next. "So, we use imitation crab instead. Is it ok for you?" Of course not. So I ordered something else. But then, I thought, do they really think that real crab is replaceable by imitation crab? Do they think it is okay? If it is ok for them, to me, it is a huge problem. We ordered: - Vietnamese Beef Carpaccio - Charred Beef Rib (Phở Sườn Bò) - Bún Riêu Beef Carpaccio seems to be another popular item here, but I was disappointed. When I order Carpaccio, I expect ultra-fresh raw beef. Here, they use fully cooked sliced beef. If it is named as "sliced beef salad," then I would have felt this dish to be decently tasty. However, because it is named "Carpaccio", I was disappointed, even felt deceived. Charred Beef Rib's presentation was dramatic, hot soup was poured in to the bowl in front of me. However, I was sad to see that all the rare beef turned fully cooked hard before my very eyes. I should have ordered rare beef on the side. Soup lacked depth, rib meat was hard to separate from the bone, and a bit dry. Holding the hot bone trying hard to bite to separate the meat was very difficult. I also felt odd to see that on the accompanying dish (for fresh veggies toppings) had lemon wedges, not lime. That's another disappointment. Bun Rieu. I stopped eating this halfway. First, I did not feel Crab flavor. There are only 2 small pork meatball with no Crab flavor, just hard pork meatball with excessive black pepper. No piece or trace of Crab. Sausage slices had wrong texture (not smooth). Bone in pork was hard and chewy. It is supposed to be fall-off-the-bone tender. So there was not much to enjoy. I am not sure why this place is so popular and highly rated. May be they are skilled in advertising in social media. Or may be I was just super unlucky :(. Probably I am not returning.
