I have heard a lot about Pho Sapa previously and was presently surprised. The inside has plenty tables and good lighting. The service was great, and food came out QUICK! I really really enjoyed the Hu Tieu. The broth just tasted so clean and fresh. Can't go wrong! I definitely recommend.

Your typical Viet Pho restaurant. Overall satisfied and would come back again. Service was quick and efficient. Ordered: - Pho Tai Bo Vien - Only complaint was I felt like the meat was more clumpy than other places.

Visited Houston for a weekend trip with the family and was recommended here by our friends who live there and it definitely did not disappoint! What we ordered: - Pho Dac Biet: I feel like pho dac biet is always a good choice when you don't know what you want and are comfortable with eating everything from brisket to tendon to tripe etc! The broth was so delicious and flavorful. It had clear broth and I really enjoyed it. - Pho Tai Gung: My husband also very much enjoyed this one. The steak was yummy and the soup base is same as dac biet so the broth also was clear and delicious! This one is a simple topping of rare beef. Overall both pho's were delicious and we were impressed! Service was good! We are a fan!

My absolute favorite pho place. Customer service is always so friendly, helpful, and polite! I tried the dry pho dish for the very first time today and it was delicious. The sauce is really what makes the dish so good so don't hesitate to dump the entire sauce into your bowl and mix it well. The dish comes with a small side pho broth. I highly recommend asking for the vinegar onions. It really enhances the dish.

Need to revise my review because clearly I got the wrong thing. The rare beef ginger pho is out of this world! The broth is so clean and heartwarming. I usually don't like ginger, but you could hardly taste it in this bowl. Adding Sriracha to the side of raw onions that they give you is a MUST.

Came on a Saturday at lunch time and the restaurant was full! Right after we put our name on the waitlist it got really busy with the wait, and thankfully we were able to get seated quickly. The space is very large and can fit a lot of people. I recently tried dry pho for the first time elsewhere and saw they had it on their menu! Since it isn't common, I wanted to try it and it was so good. Their meat is really good quality with good portions and everything tasted fresh. Service was kind as well! Would definitely come back next time I visit Houston.

Pho was for sho callin- so many different t noodle, meat choices and I'm a tendon girl- broth was good, no cilantro to be seen so I was pretty happy. That said they were out of all appetizers so didn't get to try the egg rolls.service was quick and easy and it is a busy little place in a strip center!

A good bowl of pho! I think Pho Sapa hits the spot if you want a nice bowl of pho. I really like that their meat is tender and their brisket is some of the best I've had. Their bowl of bone marrow is also very generous. However, I think the noodles were overcooked, it was too soft for my liking and the broth was a lil sweet. Food comes out quick though! Overall 7/10.

Food is consistently good, portions are pretty generous, prices are still high, but I will mention that the service is excellent considering we don't speak Vietnamese. They see we have kids and proactively ask us if we need the boosters, plasticware, scissors, etc. Entrance is still awful/awkward to get through, especially when it's crowded. Be warned.

My family wanted to go to pho sapa before going back home. I remember this place hitting the spot last time, and it did just the same this time around as well. I decided to try something different and got the phở trộn, which is the dry beef pho. It includes tái, nạm, and bò viên. They LOAD YOU UP with noodles and meat here. This is definitely the most noodles I've ever had in a bowl of pho. The slices of meat are humongous with thin fat strips too. You pour their special sauce into the noodles and mix it up so the noodles soak it all in. The sauce is pretty rich and bold with a lot of umami. You also get a side bowl of pho broth with even more meatballs. For the price, this was definitely worth it, and tasty too

Amazing pho in the chinatown area! I've grown up in Houston my whole life but had never heard of this place. Granted, I wasn't browsing around for pho places, but no one had ever talked about it. Until, one day a vietnamese friend said that it was her favorite place and that she enjoys it so much that she doesn't even feel the need to make her own pho. Wow - I knew with high praise like that, that I had to try Pho Sapa. I really enjoyed the pho here and it indeed is very good! They give a generous amount of meat, and the noodles are still thin but have good strength, as in, the noodles don't break apart as you're pulling and slurping on them. Egg rolls are served hot and fresh and are perfectly crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside! Would highly recommend for pho

My friends and I enjoyed lunch #1 at Pho Sapa this past Saturday. None of us have been here before, but it was recommended by a trusted source. Since we wanted to eat more afterwards, the three of us shared two bowls of pho (one small). PHO DAC BIET, COMBINATION PHO (SMALL) For a small bowl, there were a lot of meat. They really aren't stingy here. The rare steak melted in my mouth easily, and the brisket was so tender. The other cuts (tripe, tendon, and meatball) were fairly good too. Broth was delicious. PHO DUOI BO, OXTAIL PHO Each bowl came with five pieces of oxtail, which was fatty and meaty, and the broth was so deep and rich without being overly salty. Between the two bowls, I prefer the broth in the oxtail pho. I think five pieces of oxtail is a bit too much for me, but I'm glad I was sharing it with two others. Overall, really good and flavorful broth, lots of meat in every bowl, plenty of garnish, and we were decently full after. Additionally, the texture of the noodles were perfect -- a bit chewy and did not leave any starchy residue in the broth. We barely left any broth behind because it was worth inhaaling. The good wasn't expensive for the quantity we got. Pho Sapa is definitely worth checking out.

So I came in for the second time recently. Not sure if it was because I had just gotten off a cruise and was craving Viet food, but the pho this time around was so delicious! It was the comfort I was seeking for in a steaming hot bowl of noodle goodness. They do not skimp on the meats here. The broth was flavorful and the thick noodles are perfectly slurp worthy. Service was friendly and the food came out fast. They have a good amount of seating and everything was super clean and welcoming. The best pho is at home, but this place will defnite be a repeat whenever I'm back in town.

Lots of seating, great wait staff, and the sandwiches are gigantic--as they should be for the price. $30 for a sandwich on average. We split an open face pastrami (which they brought an extra plate) and we are glad we did. The potato salad is tiny. Too much sandwich for one but not enough potato salad for two! The pickles they provide before your sandwich arrives are yummy- not like a traditional out of the bar pickle. These are what I remember from NYC. Garlic and not sweet. We also had the apple pie alamode. Also pricey and gigantic. It was warm and delicious. Glad we tried this icon. We went at lunch and they get quite the crowd. You are not rushed at all. Before their recent expansions to Austin, it all began here in Rice Village exactly 15 years ago. The vibes are contemporary and casual, with the kind of space that fits for just about any scenario. Whether it's a solo meal, a lunch date, or a group led affair, the experience is almost always an excellent one. Start by ordering at the counter and find a seat where the food will brought directly to the table. So much of their variety caters to all sorts of dietary restrictions from vegan to gluten free to nut free. Their spicy crispy brussels sprouts ($10) are a nice starter, as is the squash "onion" rings ($12). The local power bowl ($16) is a classic and I've always enjoyed the brown rice and quinoa combo. Their chicken "posolé" is solid, and I love the large hominy bits along with the clear but green tint of a broth. The chicken shawarma bowl ($20) is an interesting mix that includes pickled beets and strawberries, along with their market cheddar burger ($17) and fabulous twice cooked fries. The carrot cupcake is strangely addicting, and I think their gluten free brownie is a bit of a sleeper. Some of their items didn't jive with me previously, such as an underwhelming cashew queso ($9), a semi-laughable Vietnamese steak bowl ($22), and their semi-gringo version of a banh mi ($15). It's not that these items are bad per se, but they definitely don't live up to the same standard that I feel their other dishes do best. Where they hit the biggest home run is their customer service. Everyone working behind the counter does their best to deliver and they almost always do by staying on top of refills, cleanups, and customer greets. I've always enjoyed my experiences here and look forward to every visit.
