Beef pho
Marissa K.

I had such a satisfying bowl of beef pho here The broth was rich, aromatic, and tasted like it had been simmering for hours--super comforting without being too heavy. The beef was tender and fresh, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. I also loved all the fresh herbs and sides that came with it--really let you customize each bite. You can tell they care about quality and flavor. If you're craving something warm, flavorful, and just overall yummy, this spot definitely hits. I'll be back for sure!

Shrimp patty in crisp soy wrapper

We've been eating here for quite some time now and it has been consistently good. We've had everything from pho to bun bo hue, and almost every vermicelli dish they serve. But our all time favorite is their shrimp patty in crisp soy wrapper. The shrimp patty has great flavor. The soy wrapper is fried just right for a perfect golden crisp. This is served over vermicelli noodles which is always fresh, never dried out. This dish comes with pickled and julienned carrots, radish, and cucumber. They also drizzle on the green onion oil. In a separate dish, you can use a little fish sauce and chili to take it to its peak flavor. Consistently, they have clean tables and chairs, fast and friendly service, and the food is always on point. Thank you for the ample free parking too! Bonus that we don't have to drive to Chinatown LOL

This is your get yelled at by an auntie good old school pho joint. The pho is good, bun rieu is good. Flavors are full of spice depth. Also some great spice sauce options on the table. Good quantities provided on the noodle soups as well. Located right next to ala moana and wash parking lot.

Pho Saigon has a good location if you're craving pho after shopping at ala moana. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The staff is really nice too. The cost for pho is pricier than other places, but the broth is great so I recommend to check it out. I love that they ask if I want the raw meat on the side or in the broth. I prefer it on the side as that's how I grew up ordering pho. Most places will automatically put it in the broth unless I request it. Let's talk parking. I've only gone early dinner time between 5p - 6p so I'm not sure how crowded the parking can get especially since there's another restaurant there as well. The parking lot is accessible from the front side along Kapiolani Blvd. You can enter from the back side, but you're forced to turn left by CPB and go around towards Kapiolani Blvd.

Pho "Lost in Saigon" bowl.

Delicious Pho and more! The service is quick and attentive. I ordered a "Lost in Saigon" bowl for dinner and it was prepared quickly. The 5 meats in my Pho were delicious, especially the rib which was tender and flavorful. This restaurant is open, spacious and easy to walk to from many areas around the Ala Moana mall.

We found this pho place off the strip and it's pretty expensive. Found this not too far from our hotel. It's not walking distance but there's plenty of parking. It's kind of pricey for pho and I thought the portions and quality could be better. The well done brisket for me was tough, also too thick. The spring aka summer rolls were very good. He had the ribeye pho but it barely had any ribeye, maybe 3 pieces of meat.

Tuesday July 29, 2025. We decided to come here for lunch. We came here around 11:45am and had parking during a lunch time. It was meant to be that we came here. Service was friendly and fast from a tall, big, friendly guy that we never seen before. New worker? We ordered and the food came out shortly after. Pho is always good from here. Ambiance is casual and comfortable here. We will be back again.

Quick review for this place. The girlfriend and I went here for a quick, casual dinner for my birthday. I know this place has been here for awhile, but it was our first time here. We arrived early and got our seat and water. The place is pretty spacious and pretty clean. The wait staff were very friendly as we asked about some of the menu items. We decided to go with the beef combo pho, which was flavorful and came with a lot of brisket and ribeye. We also tried their Saigon noodles. This dish was different, but was a good recommendation. It's an egg noodle dish in a sauce, with seafood. Overall, our experience here was nice. It did seem slightly more in price than some of the other Vietnamese/pho places in the area, but overall, we enjoyed our dining experience.

Gorgeous bountiful plate of garnishes that they took away AFTER we had eaten some of it

An odd experience, but the food is good. Weekday lunch after 2:00, not too busy. Two servers and one table support. We ordered: Char Siu bahn mi (good), chicken wings (good and interesting seasoning), cup of broth (good). And we ordered the "Lost in Saigon" $33 huge bowl of beef pho with tendon, beef balls, ribeye and a big-ass beef rib. Super amazing and delicious. Usually when you order pho you get a plate of garnishes. Basil, lemon or lime, sprouts etc. The table-support guy set down the most beautiful plate of herbs and produce I'd ever seen in any Vietnamese restaurant. Cucumber slices, carrots, basil, pickled daikon and carrots, mint and another green. Also, a small dish of bac nam was set down. When my sandwich arrived, I dipped it into the bac nam like always. So good. My dining partner ate a cucumber slice from the garnishes. The wings arrived and the server said something as he took the plate of garnishes away. Then the other server reached for the dish of bac nam and started taking it. I said I was already using the sauce, please let it go. He hesitated and set it down. I couldn't use the sauce after he put his fingers all around the edge like a claw. Then the other server brought out a small plate of garnishes that had sad basil and sprouts. What's wrong with these actions you may be asking yourself? Once set food is set down on a table and left, it's dead to any other table. If they re-used that plate at another table (and you know they did), that is hella unsanitary. Even if that plate was the wrong one, we have a $33 bowl of soup coming. Just inform us that we benefited from a mistake so next time we know what we will actually receive.

Food and service is always good here. The people are very friendly. Service with a smile. Great place to come for a first Bday meal.

Bun Bo hue
Nini M.

Not too far from the strip! You can tell the owners love what they do. We tried the bun rieu, bun bo hue, banh mi, chicken wings & egg rolls. First, egg rolls were freshly made and very good! Taste just like my moms!! The bun bo hue was really good, wish it had more of the bbh stuff like pork knuckle/feet or pork blood. But the flavor was really good. The bun rieu was so good! Wasn't too fishy. The chicken wings was so flavorful & they give you a grip. It's more on the pricey side but I've tried a lot of pho places and honestly, this was probably the best one yet.

Vegetable and tofu pho

The portions are so good for the price, and the beef broth is delicious. The service was quick and I left feeling satiated. Already looking forward to my next visit, mahalo!

The food is unbelievable! Sometimes there's a line out the door, but the team is efficient--so always wait! This location is in Chinatown on Maunakea. If you're lucky, you can snag a metered parking spot nearby. Pho Que Huong is super clean, and I love how they decorate for holidays. Family-owned, this local business is very welcoming. Plenty of tables. Clean restrooms for paying customers. The food and drink are made with utmost care. The produce is always fresh and clean. The pho broth is unmatched. Not too sweet, lovely and aromatic. Portions are generous for the price point. Vietnamese coffee is a must! Strong and sweet--yum! The spring rolls even taste "healthy" here in that they're not too oily, and made with fresh ingredients. The customer service is always on-point, whether eating in or taking out. Note: They do not offer XL size for takeout. I think it's sweet they don't advertise otherwise, since they don't have the proper containers for that amount of food. Be sure to check out this authentic Vietnamese spot!

The service here is quick and efficient. And even though they can get really busy at times, they're still cranking out the food and beverages in a timely manner. As for the food, it's definitely comforting and delicious. The different pho broths (chicken, beef, etc) are all just right, not too oily, not too salty. I didn't even have to add in any condiments to enhance the flavor. The Banh Xeo is a huge portion, that can be shared amongst a party of 2-4. Street parking is located right out front, there's also a parking structure out back, with an entrance into the establishment directly from the parking structure. I will definitely be coming back here for more!

I heard they will keep this space for special events. The restaurant is quite busy and I'm glad we had reservations. Good thing I was there prior to lunch hour opening, otherwise we may lose our reservations since the person who made reservations tends to be habitual in arriving late. We dined in May, but it's been awhile since I first dined here. I preferred dining in Chinatown during lunch time than at dinner. Our waiter was really nice and helpful. I forgot his name, but I remembered that his eyeglasses that he wore was cool/funny, since the frames for each eye didn't match the other eye! lol. Funny it wasn't me who first noticed it. One was square frame and the other was a round frame! The restaurant doesn't do anything special for birthdays except may write Happy Birthday in chocolate on the dessert plate that you purchase for the birthday person. Their desserts are unique and refreshing. I think there are some rotating desserts /flavors like their seasonal menu for their main menu. I guess you can always keep coming back without being bored of the menu! I was bummed to see a previous dish posted of a pasta that I wanted to try that wasn't on the current spring seasonal menu! When we dined for brunch over the weekend, I was able to get the Hainan chicken with the crispy roast pork combo. It was very filling , tasty and satisfying. I do love ginger sauce on the cold ginger chicken but sometimes the chicken is just okay. This Hainan chicken was really good and the chicken was really moist! I thought it was the best I've tried! It was good that I wanted to takeout one last time in August before they moved! No more the 50/50 combo with the crispy roast pork on the lunch menu during the weekday. It was on the spring menu. Of course it's best to eat it in the restaurant than for take out. Bathroom is a must for me when dining out and they had only one shared bathroom for everyone! There was a guy who tried to make several attempts but wasn't successful, since there was always someone in the restroom. I'm glad the waiter told me there was a bigger separate bathroom with several stalls for men and ladies upstairs. You go straight through the kitchen to catch the elevator and to another kitchen /storage area! Thank Goodness! Best wishes at your new location. You offer yummy and tasty food!

When we arrived, we were the first guests so got to pick our table. When we sat down at the pretty wooden booth, there was a happy hour menu on the table. What?!? And YAY!! There was a 2-for special on the cocktails and you could select from the full menu which featured an extravagant and eclectic selection. There were wine and beer specials too but we were here for the cocktails. From the happy hour menu, we ordered the vegan spring rolls, chicken wings, and the Bo Ne Steak--a Vietnamese breakfast with bone marrow, cubed steak, sunny side eggs and a baguette. I can vouch for the spring rolls, light and crunchy without being oily. I don't eat land animals but my friend said the wings were divine. And they give you gloves to eat them. So civilized (ha) and a nice touch! She loved the bone marrow and steak. There was so much food she didn't finish it so I took it home to the hubby who devoured it. No complaints and only smiles from him! I wanted to try a couple pescatarian dishes from the regular menu so ordered the lemongrass clams which was AH-mazing! Could have been my favorite dish of the night because the flavors were unexpected but undeniably good. And, the garlic salmon bun (vermicelli noodles) was fantastic. The fish was cooked perfectly and the sauce was savory yet light. I've never seen this option at any other Vietnamese restaurant and it certainly elevates the traditional dish which usually comes with meat, tofu, or spring rolls. (You can still order the bun with these options and they let you choose your protein combos.) Finally, (I told you there was a lot of food) we ordered the banana blossom salad. I rarely see this offering at other Vietnamese restaurants. It's hard to describe but I refer to this dish as the red-carpet version of the green papaya salad. It's more dressed up and sophisticated. A real treat and a must-have if you're dining at An Di Dzo. Parking was easy since it's at Ward (by the theaters or you can park anywhere in the village). The restaurant is clean and modern.
