Most cleanliness Pho in town! White plates everything! Food is yummy of course. Service is awesome. When we want something like lemons, server bring it to the point we don't have to wait foreva. For starter we order either or spring roll or summer roll. Both are deli! And this may sound weird but we always asked for both sauce just because. Then we order 1 Pho combination. I can't eat the whole thing cuz a small girl like me can only eat small portion. So pho for two please. Good enough since we had appetizer. We don't like white onions, bean sprouts and green jalapeños. But we like extra parsley, lemons and basils please! I love fresh Thai tea not preferably those in a can. Pho Saigon is clean, fast, and most importantly DELICIOUS!!! Why did it take me so long to try their pho? I made the mistake of judging a book by its cover! The restaurant looks too bougie compared to your typical hole-in-the-wall pho restaurant that I assumed their pho wouldn't taste as authentic, but I was wrong... As soon as you enter the restaurant, you'll notice how clean, cool and nicely decorated it is. Also, the servers are all in uniform wearing Aloha shirts which really makes it feel like a full-service restaurant, unlike the ones in Chinatown. Every time I've eaten here it has always very busy but the time it takes for your food to come after ordering is quite fast! For all you Pho-fanatics, their broth is darker and pulls a lot of flavor from anise. I usually prefer lighter, clean broths but I actually like their blend of flavors they use here. If you love the spiciness from jalapeños like I do, make sure to order their avocado smoothie to help keep your mouth cool :) The only thing I don't like is that there is only one size for the pho. I'm a small girl so I can never finish their large bowl so it feels wasteful (but I try though, trust me!). Came back again last night with my sister. My mom showed us her favorite spot for Bun Bo Hue and I saw this place has decent reviews for it. She ordered her BBH and I got my Pho Combo (dac biet). My Pho was decent. There was A LOT of noodles in my bowl but decent amount of flank and beef in it. I had like a few pieces of tendon and meatballs. I felt skimped out. :'( My sister drowned her Bun Bo Hue with MORE chili sauce (must not have been spicy to her taste). Overall, Pho was decent (not the best I've had, in restaurants). It was pricy though $14/bowl (regular). I'm assuming because it's in Waikiki they can make a killing (I noticed a lot of non Vietnamese people around). Service was eh. Our server didn't come around to check on us. I don't think I'd come back because there are nicer places with better service too. read more

Actually more of a 3.5 star review, but because they are new and still working out the kinks, I will round up rather than round down. I believe they just re-opened from their last location on Keeamoku. They are now located on the old KGMB building used to be. Accross Ala Moana, cant really miss it if you are driving down Kapiolani since their signage is pretty big and bright. Love the new place, it is more than double the size of the old place. Modern and warm designs and atmosphere. Came here for lunch it wasn't terribly busy but it took awhile for someone to seat us. Was at the door for a good 5 minutes before someone actually noticed we were there. And at least 15 minutes of waiting and having to flag down a waitress before they took our order. The food came in a timely manner though, so I believe the problem was being short handed on the wait staff rather than the kitchen. There was one bus boy and 3 servers. For at place that fits about 101 people (according to the sign), it is understandable why service was slow. Hopefully they work this one out. There were also a bunch of stuff on the new menu which is still not available so I am looking forward to having them in the future. Particularly the duck noodle soup. Ordered the summer rolls, combination pho and the spring roll / pork chop on cold vermicelli. Summer rolls were good and had a good ratio of shrimp to noodles, it was wrapped well so the noodles didn't fall out after dipping in the peanut sauce and they put in just the right amount of mint and chives inside. The soup for the pho was a bit on the sweeter side for me but it was good soup. Standard fare inside the combination with the beef slices, tendon and beef balls with the accoutrement of boiled bean sprouts and basil with some jalapeno on the side. I always order the cold noodle topping just because I can have a number of different tastes while ordering just one thing. The spring rolls were good and had a good crunch to them, filling was good and had a good balance of spices. The pork chop was grilled well and had a good marinade on it as well. Again a bit on the sweeter side and I would have preferred a better balance between sweet and salty. They don't leave the pho condiments on the table and I had to actually go to the bus boy to ask for the Sriracha and hot sauce and Hoisen sauce. Price is definitely up there. Expected since I am sure they spent a lot of money building the place. Pho is only one size, but you get to choose how many toppings you want. The combination pho was $10 and was equivalent to about the large size in other places. The summer roll was $7, and the cold noodle was $12. Total with tip came out to about $35 for lunch. Will come back to try other items when they have worked out the kinks and hopefully hired a bit more people. read more

I would give it stars if I can because of the service. Year after year the prices had gone up. I noticed that they are trying to Americanize Asian restaurants and bring in more Tourists. my favorite dish is catfish clay pot with crispy fried pork belly bits and their lobster size shrimp in sauté sauce but sadly to know this time around the shrimp is a lot smaller and said of three large humongous prawns you get five smaller ones for the same price what a letdown center paying $22 I wouldn't mind getting three humongous. Employees wear masks and are very attentive. There are clean restrooms in the restaurant. They're spacing customers far enough apart to be safe. I got the beef flank pho. The broth was jam packed with flavor. Keiki #1 ordered the shredded chicken bhan mi, super fresh and light but gives you that full satisfied feeling. Keiki #4 got the crab curry. Although the flavor was the it was very difficult to eat. The crab is still in its shell and sitting in the curry. The rice is served separately. The cost is high but it is crab after all $25.00. Only unfortunate part is she got frustrated with all the curry getting everywhere so she didn't finish it. The curry sauce is on the sweeter side. The service was great. Never been to this location before! Didn't even knew that they had another Pho place near Ala Moana Center! After work all 5 of my friends came here to eat since we were all craving for some Pho! So my friend she's allergic to cilantro, basil, banana, papaya, mango, etc. We had to make sure that what she orders didn't have the stuff she was allergic too. We asked our server our friend is highly allergic to cilantro, basil, banana, mango, etc so she cant have any of those or else she will die! She ordered rice noodle bowl with beef but we had to tell our server no cilantro. I know we were giving him a hard time but this is serious cuz we don't want our friend to die in front of the store you know... The rest of us aren't allergic to anything so we got Pho instead. My friend got the vegetarian Pho while all 3 of us got the meat combo pho. My friend Dokota who's allergic wanted some beansprouts but ours were touching the basils so we cant someone to get some more and lemon too. This girl comes up to us and she doesn't understand English at all! We kept telling her She's allergic to basil and cilantro so if you can separate them on a different plate. She didn't understand at all! So we had to ask for our original server to get it for us since the other lady didn't know what we were talking about. Everything tasted good, pho tasted good but to much soup tho! Dakota liked her food and so did we. The service here is good but maybe hire more people that speak English and not Chinese, b/c one of the worker didn't know what we were talking about and your gonna have a lot of people who speak English here, If you don't know how to speak English or understand than you have to either learn or work somewhere else. Dinner with My Man Spring Rolls - Pretty standard as far as spring rolls go. Good, nothing stand out. More expensive than other places for the same stuff. Lemongrass Chicken Vermicelli - Not my fave. A LOT of onions, flavor was ok. Nothing impressive for the price. Lemonade - Vietnamese lemonade is always perfect and a nice way to clean your pallet after a meal :) Fancy atmosphere, which is why I assume they charge more than your typical Pho restaurant. This is now my favorite pho place, I've been eating pho since I could walk and I've always been advocating downtown pho as the best but Its only because I've never been to this place. They have a lot of free parking available in their lot, but if does tend to fill up because this place is Amazing! So when free parking is not available they offer valet parking. The restaurant itself is very clean and nice, the workers are nice and friendly. If you are seated near a wall, they actually have a call button that the waiters quickly respond too. The prices here are a bit higher than other pho restaurants but it's honestly worth it, the pho soup itself is so rich and delicious, I didn't need to add any sauces. Only drawback is they only order 1 size for the pho, and they don't do kids size. The one size they offer is pretty big, I got 2 choices beef balls and tendon. Usually when I order tendon if I eat it right away it's hard, I think other places add it in at the last second. Not here when I ate my tendon it melted in my mouth as if they cooked the tendon in the broth. My mom had the chicken pho which she loved, during our meal she kept saying how good it was. One of the worse experiences I had felt at a restaurant in a long time, there was a really rude worker there, they miss understood my father's order and instead of apologizing and bring his food out right away that worker talked back, made rude comments, while walking away from our table. Pho Saigon came highly recommended to me and my mother by our foodie hairstylist after we had mentioned that we recently visited its next door neighbor: MW. I stuck with a bowl of vermicelli with lemongrass chicken, my mom got the spring roll appetizer, my dad the crab noodle soup, and we all split the Vietnamese pancake. We also decided to try two Vietnamese iced coffees. First things first: the coffees. Wow. They come in a cute little glass with one layer of condensed milk and another layer of dark, rich coffee with an incredibly strong aroma. Once that is stirred, you pour it over the cup of ice. That thing is super rich but so, so delicious it should be considered a drug. The spring rolls were tasty but definitely not worth a whopping $16 for an appetizer-portion. The vermicelli was pretty delicious. It had a nice variety of flavors from the fish sauce, pickled vegetables, fresh and crunchy lettuce, cucumbers, and bean sprouts, and spicy lemongrass chicken. Overall, Pho Saigon is a great place for some quality, filling Vietnamese food. We are vacationing from southern california (the vietnamese food mecca of the us) and honestly this place is just as good or in my opinion better than alot of the restaurants in Cali.
