We love pho but we love banh mi bbq sandwiches even more so these two items often bring us here. Food would get 4 stars, the environment knocks a star off. While the food has always been delicious, the environment often leaves much to be desired. It's not super clean and many times, it is very loud there. Music is often pumping and it's just too loud. But the last couple of visits seem to have been better with respect to that! But if you're looking for good pho and moreso the banh mi sandwiches, don't pass it up. Took about an hour to receive our order which seemed very rushed due to the uneven proportioned noodles per bowl and lack of meat. Mind you, three of us ordered the #27 and the lack of consistency between the three was mind boggling. Pretty sure the waitress messed up and the kitchen rushed our order out. The first impression - understaffed! 2nd impression - staff there is not efficient. Tables were left dirty - everyone was waiting for service. The crab Rangoons were more cheesy than crabby. The nime chow was tight and tasty with the thick peanut sauce. The house chicken wings were lightly sauced with a hint of sweetness. And the Beef Pho had an incredible taste. However it was served like warm at best. It definitely needed to be hot. Overall - I think this place could be a go to place but it definitely needs a clean up and a more trained front of the house staff. I would try again and suggest others who love Asianesque foods to do so - but it will not be in my continuous rotation. read more

I came here to try pho for the first time, a friend of mine highly recommended it. The pho was really good! I dressed it up with chile paste, lime, and jalapeños. We actually ordered a ton of food, but I wasn't able to get pictures of everything. The crab Rangoon's there are honestly the best crab Rangoon I have ever eaten in my 33 years of life, they even have lobster Rangoon, which I did not get to try yet, but I will definitely be trying it in the future. They have a huge menu of all sorts of different Vietnamese in Chinese food. They also sell Boba and have a full bar. They have a parking lot and inside dining. You can also do takeout here. Giving 4 stars because the prices are a little high, the bathroom could be a little cleaner and because they forgot to put in one of the people in my parties orders. Second time coming to this restaurant food was delicious. I ordered a bowl of Pho Do Bien. It was a huge portion of soup and very delicious. The Crab Rangoons are delicious and have the perfect crunch to them. It very causal in this establishment and have a DJ booth set up. The waiter was nice but wish he was more attentive. Happy to have Vietnamese food in this area at all. We got the Bo luc lac (shaken beef) and it came out less like the original dish and more like a sweet asian stir fry. (It's not meant to be sweet or doused in thick sauce.) Bo kho with pho noodles was tasty, albeit maybe not the authentic flavor either (more liquidy than usual). You did have the option to get it with bread if you wanted. Bun thit nuong (vermicelli) was very good. Egg roll in it was super good and fresh. The noodles were cold which my cousin loved but I prefer warm noodles (that's just preference). Meat was sliced thinly but good grill flavor and lots of veggies in the bowl. So good. Was craving chicken vermicelli and some goi coin. Stumbled upon Pho Saigon was thrilled they were close so gave them a try. I've been craving it ever since! Really good, fresh ingredients. Super fast and friendly service. I'm looking forward to trying more of the many options they have on their menu, especially their Pho. The only place I go for pho! The best pho place in the Rhode Island. They got a pretty big menu and I have had tried many different meal. All the food was so good I was pleasantly surprised! And the viet coffee is just so freaking good I wish they make bigger size . The staff are also very nice and the food always comes out quick. I loveeeee the fresh roll as well and my boyfriend is OBSESSED with the fried chicken wings. The restaurant is also very spacious and we never have to wait. 5/5! The vermicelli (bun dac biet) was excellent. The meats were all cooked deliciously. They give you fish sauce so you can portion how much of it you want for your noodles, and I pour bit by bit as I eat. The only thing I would have liked was for the red meat to be cut into strips. The chow foon was well-liked by my husband, but I think it's just OK. I honestly wouldn't really recommend it, unless you wanted Chinese food and the person you're eating with really wanted Vietnamese food. It's nice that this was an option here, though. One woman waiting on all the tables in the restaurant, everyone was getting so frustrated. my drink was forgotten about, same with the people next to me. Some people were completely forgotten about and didn't get to order after being there for a full hour. Lunch staff is always on point, menus and waters in an instant. I hate to write this review -- however, this place gave me and one of my friends food poisoning. She ordered the oxtail pho with beef rounds -- and I ordered beef pho with broccoli. The pho was ok - but when we both got home, we couldn't keep it down! The only explanation was that beef. I eat pho at least once a week and this had never happened to me. I am so disappointed. While visiting our daughter in Providence, we decided to venture out to check out this Vietnamese restaurant in Cranston. Just a short 15 minute drive later we arrived. Bonus - they're open late until 1am and also have a full bar. We tried the calamari, bun Bo hue and crispy seafood noodle - which comes with sliced beef in addition to the seafood. We came here for lunch and it was easy to find parking in the lot. Was looking for a good soupy lunch. It was a super sunny day so when we entered, it felt extremely dim. It's an older restaurant, felt by the aging floor and dim bathroom. The waitress was great with my kids and that is always appreciated. We ordered the grilled chicken over rice and pho noodle soup. This used to be one of my go-to spots, but after a few bad visits, I won't be back. Last time I was here, I waited forever for a table with my cousin and our kids. The waitress wasn't even acknowledging our existence, and she asked "how many?" and I answered, not realizing she was talking to the people behind us, and she got kind of rude about it. When we finally sat down, I asked for a cup with a lid for water for my 3 year old, and she just said "No" and walked away. Wtf?! Food was good here, but it is just as good at Pho Horns, and they have staff that actually know how to interact with people. On two occasions, this place has also given me ginger ale from a broken soda system, then had the nerve to charge me for it, despite the fact that they couldn't give me actual ginger ale. The staff turnover seems high. They had one lady there who did not get my order right, and when I pointed out I had asked for a small pho, and she gave me a large, she shrugged and charged me for the large. read more

Pho Saigon is a hidden gem in Cranston and has some of the best pho in all of RI! My personal favorite is their #28, pho tai with sliced eye round. The depth of delicious flavor in the broth is incredible. Their house special fries wings are damn good too! The waitresses are attentive and food comes out quickly. Mixed drinks are meh. Inside of the place is clean and very basic. I prefer take out and a large pho usually lasts me 2 meals. read more

Went tonight and it was really just awful. The girl working told us to grab our own menus and sit wherever. When we sat, there was a 2 inch hole in the floor and my boyfriend's chair got stuck in it. The place looked dirty and you can tell they don't move anything around when they sweep and mop due to the layer of grime around the tables- not to mention it looked like someone shaved their pubes over the bathroom sink? Wtf? When our order was taken, we weren't even offered anything to drink. My boyfriend asked for a recommendation and the waitress didn't even give him the time of day. She said everything was good, but the menu easily has over 100 items. I should have asked if she recommended the eyeball. Our waters, which tasted like sprite didn't get refilled once. The waitress couldn't speak up and seemed completely miserable. She was wearing a blue pimple patch which I can just imagine it falling into someone's food. As we were eating a dog walked by and it just made sense. This place used to be good, but now it's awful. We felt really unwelcome, the place is dirty, and the service is awful.
