The beef pho broth is spot on. A no frills pho restaurant that serves the real deal. I loved their beef brisket pho and will definitely be returning. Each order comes with the proper pho fixings and hoisin/sriracha as you please. read more

According to my friend Mechelle, who is half Vietnamese, this is one of the most authentic Pho Broths in the area. I took my nieces for dinner and they all got the soup, I got the Scoopy Shrimp (off the menu) and it was good (5 pieces per order)....I also got the spare ribs. Everything was good, the server was a bit abrupt. So she was not the most customer focused person I have dealt with at this establishment. I would still go back. read more

An unassuming Vietnamese place in a strip mall near Ocean Job Lot. We came for lunch around 2:00 in the afternoon and there were about 5 other diners. The place is a little dark but service was friendly. Nice menu with variety. We primarily came for the pho. They have several options as well as regular, large, and some XL options. Broth was mediocre at best. We ordered the dac biet and it came with a good amount of meat and tendon. But I wish the broth was heartier. We also ordered the steamed noodle vermicelli that comes with rice paper to wrap. That was good! It's like make your own spring rolls- rice paper, meat and vegetables to wrap up, and a nice dipping sauce. read more

Looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine near Providence RI? You've found it - Pho Horn's! Tucked in a small strip mall right off 95 between Pawtucket and Providence, this place is pho real! (Forgive my pun). The menu is extensive and in several formats, some pictured. The pho here is phenomenal - I had #23 with added shrimp - savory and satisfying! One of our party is vegan and raved about the fried tofu. We had a Double order of Cánh Gà Chiên (chicken wings) - half spicy and half sticky Thai - delicious! The service was excellent and the cozy, bustling space still supported audible table chat. See some visuals of our tasty visit - then plug the plug 50 Ann Mary St. in your Waze and head there soon! read more

Guess who's back, back again (: It was me! Last night! I was feeling blue, so I dragged a dining buddy along for a pick-me-up dinner at Pho Horn's. We did 2 tái nạm pho & 2 sparkling lime soda & I truly think this combination could wake me from the dead. I loaded up on chili crisp & got to WORK on that bowl of soup. It healed me from the inside out & the soda was the perfect light, fresh pairing. Our server was quick, casual, & kind. We were in & out in probably about 45 minutes, down about $45 for the meal + tip. Side note - this parking lot is a bit chaotic, so proceed with caution. I think everyone is just so excited to get in to Pho Horn's that they're disregarding all rules of the road in the meantime. read more

Grateful to have a pho restaurant that has veggie broth. Our servers are always great, even when it's extremely busy! Take out doesn't disappoint, either. read more

Four of us went out for dinner. The restaurant was lively with the staff bustling around. It was our second time and the first for our friends. Mid week it was busy but we were seated after a fifteen minute wait - well worth it. We ordered a number of dishes to share. The scallion pancakes were delicious. The stir fried chicken noodles and the ginger and scallion salmon were very tasty. A side order of grilled sliced pork was also good - I might have it as a main dish next time. We had a couple of Singha beers and a fresh coconut meat and juice. Our server, Harry, was cheerfully efficient. The check came to a total $82, quite reasonable for all of us feeling well fed. This is a Vietnamese restaurant worth frequenting. read more

I came here for the first time with some coworkers for lunch. While busy, they were able to seat us right away in a comfy booth. The inside of this restaurant is much larger than it appears from the outside. We got our food quickly and everyone enjoyed it. I got the beef noodle soup and enjoyed it, with the exception of the tripe not being cut up very well, which made it a little too textured of an experience for me. Overall, I'd come back and likely get something different. read more

First meal in Rhode Island on a cool and drizzly day. 2 people walked in lunchtime. Popular place! Plenty of others had the same idea for lunch. Very spacious, nice decor, a lot of tables. The broth was good, I like that there are many pho options (I got #19 "small" which was actually a big portion!) but I've had better noodles. Not sure if these were just different than I'm used to or not as fresh as I'm used to getting in NY. Great prices and portion. There are weekday lunch specials but not for pho. I also had the Vietnamese Iced Coffee which was delicious. read more

It is wicked calm and comfortable in the restaurant. The lighting seemed kinda dim which made me feel cozier. I had the summer roll (chicken&shrimp) with peanut sauce to start, and then the veggie-tofu pho for my meal. It contained so much broth/veggies/noodles that I had enough for a seemingly full-sized leftover package. The chili oil on the table is really delicious and is necessary in my opinion for a better pho experience. I enjoyed the plain broth, but preferred it spiced. read more

I love to stop in to Pho Horn's or take friends here when we're in town. The fried rice is delicious and I'm told from friends that the pho recipes are authentic. I only wish the dining room were a little bigger since it can get busy, but they've decorated it with mirrors to make it seem nice and roomy and I'm fooled for a second every time. Be aware that the parking lot, while spacious and convenient, can at times get a little suspicious after a certain hour due to the area. I love to get the bubble tea here as well - it's always yummy, not overly sweet, and with tapioca pearls that feel fresh. I'm surprised more people don't know about this place when I ask - it's a bit of a hidden gem! read more

Started with the crab Rangoon's and friend dumplings, so good . I had beef noodle soup with steamed meat balls the broth was amazing. Friend enjoyed general chow chicken, it was very good. The service was nice and very helpful. The place has nice low key vibe, it was busy but no issue getting a table. Oh can't for get the jasmine tea my favorite always get one to go. read more

The food here was absolutely delicious and came with so much for the price. I got mine delivered about 40 minutes so i asked for it extra hot and the employees followed just that. it was so amazing, it came with absolutely so much and for under $20. i will 100% be buying from here again. thank you pho horns!! read more

Pho Horn's is no frills but delicious. I got the regular beef pho and spiced it up with a lot of chili oil. They give you a communal bowl of sprouts, jalapeños, cilantro, etc., to put into your pho. Parking is great, it's in a huge shopping lot. The only thing that's a little bit of a bummer is that all their wines are made from barefoot. I struggled through my glass of Merlot, but I did that to myself. Service was really good, and prices are reasonable. Will definitely be back, especially during the winter because the pho hit the spot! read more

Pho Horn is the greatest hole-in-the-wall place around - statement not made lightly! This cozy spot offers authentic and comforting options, with savory pho being what they're best known for. I have very fond memories here, from weekend pho runs as a teen with my family to introducing friends to Pho Horn as an adult. My go-to (this order rarely changes) is the #18, an extra large beef noodle soup with sliced steak, well done brisket, flank, tendon and tripe. If you're timid on how big this bowl is, the #19 is the exact copy that comes in small or large. The noodles are always cooked perfectly and I love how much meat they pile up in each bowl. Sometimes, I opt out of tendon and tripe as it's more of a textural thing for me, and request for meatballs instead. For certain, the bowls are generous, hearty and well-balanced. The broth is super rich and can be enjoyed standalone. However, I love adding the complementary garnishes, like fresh Thai basil, jalapeños, a spritz of lime, sriracha, hoisin sauce and chili oil. Ultimately, it all comes down to preference. Pho Horn is one of the very few places that have their broth to a T - customizing it like I did would only enhance it! I can't end this review without highlighting the avocado bubble tea and scallion pancakes. The smoothie texture is rich, creamy and has the right amount of sweetness. The pearls themselves could be a hit or miss, sometimes too mushy or hard but the drink itself 100% makes up for it. For an appetizer, the scallion pancakes are a perfect snack to nibble on - crunchy, light and umami. If you're new or a veteran to pho, I highly recommend giving Pho Horn a try. They're an affordable and no-frills restaurant with speedy but efficient service. read more

The most obvious choice to go with at Pho Horns is pho. But, I wanted to try something different these last couple times. On one visit I went with the seafood noodle soup and the next time the spare ribs from the appetizer menu with a side of white rice - both were very delicious. The soup comes with a large assortment of seafood items including fish balls, shrimp, imitation crab meat, and squid. The default is rice noodles but you can ask for egg noodles upon request. The broth was light in color, but very tasty. It had a neutral flavor rather than a strong seafood flavor. I added some of the Thai basil, bean sprouts, and jalapeños provided as well as some chili oil and sriracha. Those all added a layer of complexity for the better. All the seafood tasted fresh and there was enough to have some in each bite. My favorite part was the imitation crab meat and my least favorite were the fish balls since they had a very strong fish taste. The soup only came in one size, but it was just the right amount of food - I finished it all and left very satisfied. The spare ribs are also delicious. The order comes with 4 meaty, tender, and perfectly grilled-like ribs. They have a hint of sweet. They reminded me of a way better version of the spare ribs from Chinese take out. I noticed that they recently added a podium and a host/hostess position so that might help with the seating situation as it does get very packed especially in the later hours and on weekends. read more

Pho Horns is fantastic, and the daily lunchtime crowds are proof of its popularity. I prefer to visit after the rush...it's a bit quieter, and just as delicious. My go-to order is the General's Chicken lunch special, paired with their fresh summer rolls. The peanut sauce that comes with them is unlike any other...rich, savory, and absolutely addictive. If you're in the know, ask for the Scooby Shrimp. It's not on the menu, but trust me, it's a hidden gem you won't regret trying. Prices are very reasonable, especially given the quality. And if you're ever feeling a bit under the weather, their pho is the perfect remedy. The spice and warmth clear you right up! read more

I Tried Bun Bo hue & you can choose udon or pho noodle: so flavorful, hearty, and generous with the melted meat. We also had Pho with meatballs, always good on flavor and portion. Banh xeo was the show stopper I'll get again next time: crispy and soft texture with shrimp and meat filling along with pickled carrots and veggies. Love the nine chow always! Had fried rice with Chinese sausage which I felt was lacking in flavor and we could have done without. I had Hot tea and my sis Thai iced tea. Couldn't make it to the beef rice plate because we were so full but it's always good, only critique is needs more meat for the price. Their fried eggrolls are always good too. read more

It's easy to see why Pho Horn's has such a dedicated local clientele. This is classic Vietnamese fare, expertly prepared and perfectly seasoned. ordered takeout and the extra large pho with all meat cuts (i think number 19) is enough for two people. ordered an extra side of broth for $7 so that there's enough soup for two people. needed another bag of bean sprouts and lemon but we made do. the total was $25 which is a fab dinner for two people. it was ready in 10-15minutes. would do this again over trying to cook my own pho because of how cheap and delicious it is. read more

This place is delicious. I've ordered from here at least six or seven times now Their PHO is definitely good . I always go for the chicken and then I usually get ginger chicken on the side and I'll get an extra large soup and save some of the stuff for the next day, mix it with the ginger chicken and I'll have another bowl of PHO. Anytime I'm feeling down or under the weather I order me a bowl of PHO instantly I am feeling better!!! read more

While visiting a friend in Rhode Island, she brought me to Pho Horn's for lunch. It was a cold and rainy afternoon, and the restaurant was surprisingly full. The service was extremely fast and friendly. We each placed our order for pho and a beverage and it was promptly brought to our table. I opted for a classic combination of beef pho with brisket, flank, tripe, and all of the yummy toppings. To wash it all down, I also ordered a Thai iced tea. The pho was filling, and the broth was flavorful. You can tell they use high quality cuts of meat as none of my meat was fatty or gristly, but packed all the flavor. For the price, the portion cannot be beat. read more

I've been coming here for Vietnamese food for a while now. This place is definitely one of better Vietnamese restaurant in RI. Place is a but small and sometime there is a wait during busy hours but usually its not too bad. I usually get their pho noodles but other stuff on the menu are also pretty good. Usually I go for the regular XL pho or meatball pho. Their egg rolls, spring rolls, crab Rangoon, and wings are also pretty good. Food is generally good, Prices went up but what didn't. But I do have a problem with Pho Horn, you walk in the restaurant and get whacked with the smell of disinfectant. Great lil hidden gem if you are in the mood or in need of a big bowl of Pho! Their small is LARGE & the ingredients are FRESH! You always get welcomed in the second you cross the threshold...they have maximized the seating to get as many people in as can be; but you also have your space, too. Tip: try to get seating against the walls (ESPECIALLY IF IT IS WINDY/COLD) to avoid some of the drafts that come in each time door is opened & sweep through the tables in the middle. read more
