The food was burnt, cold and greasy. Waitress was rude, she substituted major ingredients with out letting us know they were out of the ingredients for our soup, refused to change the order, and seemed to lack the language skills to grasp the nature of our concerns. read more

very very good! evertyhing I have tried is delicious. The Egg Roll and Chicken is so yummy but it does take some time to get it to your table. It's so worth the wait. My husband is a huge fan of Pho and he says this is the BEST Pho in town! As far as Anchorage goes, this is one of the best Vietnamese Restaurants in town. read more

I can dig it. I had the seafood pho. My husband had beef stir fried noodles. He also had calamari. It came with fries which was a first. It has a diner feel. There wasn't a lot of interaction other than sitting, getting the food, and nearly begging for the check. They had more take out orders going than people sitting inside. There are maybe 10 tables or a few more. We were happy with our meals. It didn't matter that they didn't hang out at the table. Super casual. We'll probably come again. read more

I had the chicken & egg roll vermicelli noodle salad and a hot tea to drink. The teapot was dirty, you could see a brown residue from the spout that took some effort to get off. I scratch a bit of it off myself to see if it was stained or just dirty. They used a loose leaf tea without any type of strainer, so when I poured a cup from the tea pot, a bunch of tea leaves ended up in my cup. The food was delicious, and the service was quick. When I got up to pay, i saw a few teapots in a display case in the front, all clean without the weird brown residue. read more

Been going here for years but everytime i order for to go it's always a small portion of what you would normally get if you dine in. Also it looks like they never check their veggies for to go orders! read more

Only reason this is given 4 stars is because seating here is very limited . They have maybe 12 tables ? But other than that this was my first time having this type of food . It was really good and had a ton of flavor . I don't remember exactly what I got lol sorry . I came during the lunch hours so the waiters didn't to much bother me , and that didn't bother me at all . I would definitely come here again . read more

My first time here. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. There were so many menu options that it was almost overwhelming to narrow it down to just a couple to ask about. I settled on crispy noodles with pork dish. The pork portion was appropriate for the dish and the vegetables were nicely cooked. The sauce was tasty and pulled the whole dish together. It was all on a huge nest of crispy noodles. It was almost entertaining to eat, since the crispy noodles will transform into more of a regular noodle in the spots that are exposed to the most sauce. I expect I will be returning in the future to try some other items. read more

Horrible place. Had a friend who went here specifically requesting pad thai, NO PEANUTS, because she has a serious peanut allergy. Whatta ya know - they served her pad thai with peanuts -__- Seriously?! YOU HAD ONE JOB. After her allergic reaction begin to kick in between bites, she confronted the server, in which they were neither apologetic, nor accommodating. Um, HELLO. She left feeling sick. You could have really harmed a person for your mistake, and you did nothing to make it better. I am not for an establishment that refuses to put their customers first. If they cannot right a wrong to a customer's face, I can't even imagine what they do behind the scenes to their food... Disgusting. Do not support Pho Saigon. Go to Pho Vietnam - quality food and quality service. read more

I prefer this location over the one inside the Dimond mall. The menu is larger and more conveniently located. They are really packed on the weekends so expect a bit of a wait, but there's lots around the plaza to entertain while you wait. The pho here is good, if you can't eat an entire bowl ask for a small or a half order. I personally love the beef Panang curry! It's my second favorite in town. They offer military discounts! read more

BEST BROTH IN ANCHORAGE! my favorite pho place in anchorage. i will literally drive from huffman just for this broth. i love this place

Just came here to confirm that the Pad Thai smells like wet dog :( the pho is alright - but, WOW, I've never not been able to eat a dish.

Have had takeout from here twice and just dined-in recently. Pho take-out here is good and ingredients are fresh. I'm a fan. The dine in experience wasn't great. My BF and I came in late afternoon on a Saturday, there was 1 table available. Our waitress promptly took our order. The weird thing is she brought out BF's spring rolls but not mine. Then she brought our his entree before I had anything. Eventually my entree arrived and THEN my spring rolls. They rate their hotness on a scale of 1-5. I opted for a 3 and it was pretty damn warm. Glad I didn't go higher. Menu is extenstive. Lots of options (including vegetarian ones!) read more

Seriously, the best spring rolls I've ever had anywhere. You could get these as a healthy meal by themselves. Their pho and curry are also stellar. We come back often! read more

This is how our kid thinks about this restaurant: "We decided to try this restaurant because....... well, actually no. We were just hungry ,... ha. However, as soon as we got inside the restaurant, THERE WAS NOTHING TO EAT FOR LUNCH!!!!!!! I mean, what kind of restaurant is this??!! I wanted rice, but they were out of pork chop and they don't have chicken to replace it. Second of all, the waiter didn't seem like he was "in-the-mood". :| My family did eat lunch, but most of us were cranky about our lunch and............ I ATE ONE BOWL OF NOODLES AND DIDN'T EVEN FEEL LIKE EATING ANY MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, at least I'm not hungry anymore. =.=" Bottom line: over-priced menu; good location; mediocre service; average tasting food. Not recommended! read more

Great flavor and excellent choices. Hot and spicy or mild if you prefer. Consistancy over the times I have eaten there. My favorite is Mongolian Beef! read more

Spectacular pho. I got the beef pho, and there was great flavor, and it was a hearty portion. The hot sauces vary from Sriracha, to Thai pepper paste, to some weird stuff that was like paste but different, still good. The egg rolls were classic egg rolls. All in all, more of a 4 and a half star place than a 4 star place, but not quite a 5. I will go back. read more

Combination pho is on point. So flavorful. They accommodate any order. Green milk tea is so sweet and delicious, way better than matcha green tea latte from coffee chains. Usually they take a while to bring out your order but once in a while you get lucky and it all takes 5 minutes during lunch! read more

LMAO. The only Vietnamese part of this restaurant is probably the name and the words on menu. Yes, you read that right. Not the food, not the staff, hell, not even the in-charge people. But that's the beauty about food. Everyone's taste is different. If you're a casual who's just looking for something different, then this review is not for you. But if you're specifically looking for Vietnamese food, don't bother coming in...because it doesn't have what you're looking for. 2 stars for keeping the place reasonably clean. read more

This is my go to place for pho and noodles on this side of town. They also have a oxtail pho which is delicious. I also love the egg noodles. The food comes out quickly and is very tasteful. It's close to JBER so it can be a little crowded during lunch on week days. read more

The restaurant is small and looks like a cookie-cutter Asian takeout places, but do not let it fool you! This place packs some serious flavorful dishes that will make you beg for seconds....and thirds, if you are a professional eater. The pho noodle dish is far from being bland and I can enjoy eating it without adding any additional sauce, but WAIT! What I love about this place is that they make their own chili sauce that goes very well with the classic sriacha. read more

FOOD IS AMAZING!!!!!! HANDS DOWN THE BEST YOU CAN EAT AND STILL FEEL LIKE HOME. Super comfy and light tone is very welcoming, There's one lady that's works there that wears glasses has bangs, I've been here manyyyyy many times and have received her as our server and SHE IS NOT EFFICIENT. Not sure her name, but prior to me waiting, she has forgotten that we've been waiting, she would help people that came in after us.... FOOD 12/10 - Server Service 3/10 read more

They use to be a great place to eat at with great food but now they are nasty with rude employees. You have cashiers now serving food and touching money! GROSS !! There Caucasian waitress is horrible and rude and expects a tip. They don't greet you no more and there food went from great to ok read more

Did I go on a bad night? The decor is nice for a strip mall place, however nice stopped there. The spring rolls had dry chicken and the sauce was like paste. My dining partner agreed it was horrible. I ordered the garlic chicken stir-fry, was not bad but not great. My partner had the Pad-Thai which was a disaster. The noodles were angel hair! That was a first. We started to chalk it up to a bad experience until my dining partner got sick. We were paying when I looked up and he was white...needless to say he spent the next few hours purging. read more

Let me start by saying I usually have a positive experience here. Tonight I called and ordered two orders of chicken macaroni. I picked up my food and brought it home to find I had two orders of the macaroni with chicken, beef and SHRIMP. I am allergic to shrimp. I called back to let them know and I overheard the staff speaking rudely about it over the phone. I then spoke with a second person who spoke to me like he did not give a damn. I got a lackluster/rude apology. I can't eat this dinner and I was very unhappy with the staff reaction when I called. Not happy. If you have allergies...beware! They are not conscientious. read more

If you are going to get pho, please don't get it here. The pho broth is too salty because they are so cheap to put good quality of beef in the broth so they add a lot of salt and msg. Also, the beef is really hard to eat because it has the freezer taste. However, their vermicelli is good. read more

Absolutely nothing impressive here. The egg rolls had very little flavor. The broth was no hot, it was warm but not almost boiling as it is in Pho everywhere. The service was robotic. read more

So what disappointed me the most was the "larb". It was nothing like larb. Stir fried meat with oil and some rice powder does not make it larb. Extremely disappointed and frustrated because the taste I wanted was no where to be found. Everything else wasn't too bad, mediocre food, definitely not the best but it will do for other people. I wouldn't go back to be honest. There are other places I'd rather eat at. read more

Staff: zero stars Food: two and a half stars Won't be back, I should have listened to other reviews and went to Kenny's instead. The server acted like we were bothering her when we ordered, I asked for less ice (sensitive teeth) but got full ice, we were served in to-go containers even tho we said we were eating in (she gave the Asian customers good service at the other two tables). Curry was nothing special. read more

If you want take out. Maybe this place will work. I go out for great food and great service. We went yesterday afternoon, the place was almost empty. The waiter was absent. He sat at a booth the entire time. Dropped our food and never returned until called. No drink refills. We literally had to call him to place our orders, get our check. The food was ok. Next time I'll seek other restaurants. read more

This is one of my fav places for pho on Anchorage. I especially love their fried rice!

Rib eye was really good. Great flavor and great portion for the price. Will definitely come by again.

First time here. It was packed at lunchtime with lots of GIs from the base next door. I really liked it! Good broth, excellent variety for everyone, and prompt service.
