Food: Super yum food!! The ease sure all our items were vegan. We requested soft tofu and they made sure we get it. They were really easy to customize dishes. Such delicious food, we got Green curry, red curry, tom kha soup, pineapple veggie friend rice. This is also a huge place, gorgeous mountain views from the restaurant. A lot of tables, works for large groups, super spacious. Loved loved this place! Made our Anchorage trip memorable. read more

Siam Cuisine has become one of my favorite restaurants in Anchorage. Since my first review I have moved out of state and this is one of the restaurants I always want to visit when I'm in town. The murals are a beautiful addition. I also love that there are so many windows in the dining area so you can enjoy the sunlight, especially during the summer. The menu has so many options and you can't go wrong with any of them. The food is already flavorful on its own but there are plenty of condiments at the tables like chili oil and peanuts. Service is always warm and welcoming, like you're having a meal at a family's home. read more

I've been eating here for 20 years and usually I enjoy it. Last week we ordered a couple of hundred dollars worth of food and I got pad Thai with chicken I could've counted how many pieces of chicken on my fingers and they were all cut really small For a place that's this expensive you would expect to get more meat protein I might try this place again, but I'm not sure read more

A MUST every time I am in Anchorage. Excellent Customer Service. Food is always sooo good. We tried the calamari and wings as an appetizer. My boyfriend got the duck curry & yakisoba - delicious. Oh this place is GLORIOUS. When I first moved to Anchorage a decade and a half ago, I saw this place ranked high on the list of Thai/Laotian restaurants and flagged it on Yelp as a place to visit. Sadly, it took me until now to finally visit this wonderful gem. First, I'll note that their status on Yelp has not diminished. They are rightfully popular. Its so interesting inside. There's a lot to look at. It appears to be family run. I enjoyed watching their interaction. These people are all in. They're so nice. These are the kind people you want to support in your community. And the food... dear lord. The variety and artists of the offerings. I could eat there every day for a month and not scratch the surface. I really wish I had more reasons to visit this part of town- Siam is really something special. The prices are a little higher than I expected- that was probably my only complaint. But you pay more for quality- and I'm ok if it means supporting a lasting business. Check them out, you won't regret it read more

Huge restaurant and good for groups. I think there was a table of 20 when we went. I also love the wall art on the one end of the room. Service is not always the fastest but staff is friendly. Their menu is huge and I'm always indecisive when I come here. My fiancé always gets the pork belly fried rice. I do love the lunch combos so you can try different entrees. read more

Went in for the lunch special. You get two small entrées, rice, and egg drop soup with a choice of spring or fried roll. It's 18.95. The service was friendly and fast and the food was hot and delicious. I enjoyed trying two different little entrees. I got the garlic chicken and the masaman curry this time which was a fun contrast of flavor. I used to go here all the time back in the 2000s when they had a great lunch bar, but after that closed, I haven't been back often. I really enjoyed it though. I'll definitely go back to try more lunch combo choices. read more

Siam Cuisine - Egg drop soup - fresh and delicious - Thai Near Me - Anchorage, Alaska

The first thing to hit the table was egg drop soup with pork. Nice starter. Then my Moo Tod (Fried Pork Belly) came and it's so well fried. It has a spicy sauce that is unique, lime, garlic, hot chili pepper and fish sauce absolutely lovely! I took half home with me and had it for lunch another day. Wow that dipping sauce was so tangy good! Judy got a lunch combo where you pick 2 items. Pad Thai Noodle Chicken & Green Chicken Curry. Both excellent and we'll be back. Already dreaming of the fried pork belly and sauce dancing in my mouth again! read more

Love you guys but yesterday customers service was lame - kid took our order and forgot our drinks, which we were willing to pay for $$ for - drinks never came and kid who took our order was not even the one who delievered our food.. I get he's young but upper management needs to get these kids to check in on folks and see how we're doing. I looked over a couple times and he just sitting on his phone .. improve customer service Siam - ur my go to place for good food and we drive across town.. teach these younger kids good customer service read more

I don't think I've had a negative experience here in quite some time! One of the best lunch and dinner specials in town. Each entree is filled with of flavor and for a great price! Not in the mood for Thai? The pho is so good, too. The broth is out of this world delicious! Service is friendly and attentive. While I appreciate the updated interior it can sometimes feel a little too open and cold but otherwise, it's very cute and clean, two very important factors to consider. read more

I came here for lunch while running errands earlier today. Siam Cuisine is located at the corner of W. Dimond Blvd. and Angela Pl. next to the Creekside Mall and across from the Burlington Coat Factory. The dining area is spaciously laid out with a modern wood interior and adorned with ornaments and pieces native to southeast Asia. The employees are very friendly and greet you warmly upon arrival. The menu here is vast with a wide variety of Thai, Laotian, and Vietnamese dishes. It was hard to choose only because there were so many good items to pick from. I decided to go with their lunch special, $18.95 with a choice of two entrees, Chicken Egg Drop Soup, and a choice of Deep Fried or Fresh Spring Roll. Steamed rice comes with your order but you can substitute with either brown rice or egg fried rice for an additional charge. I decided to go with the Panang Chicken Curry (mixed vegetables in coconut milk curry) and the Chicken Wings covered in sweet and sour sauce and green onions. I only had to wait 10 minutes or more for my order to arrive which is reasonable given the lunch crowd that was there today. The Panang Chicken Curry was some of the best I've had in awhile, the perfect level of spiciness and flavor as well as a good amount of vegetables mixed in with tender chunks of chicken. I made sure not to waste any of that delicious curry sauce by pouring the rest on my rice. The Chicken Fried Wings were also great, juice running down my chin indicating it was perfectly fried as I took a bite. The sweet and sour sauce was a good complement for added flavor. There is no doubt in my mind that I would come back again to try some of the other items on their menu. Items to take note of for future visits include the Rama Peanut Sauce Halibut (steamed halibut with mixed vegetables and spinach topped with peanut sauce), Pho Soup with brisket and meatballs, Spicy Crispy Pork Belly with Basil Sauce (jalapenos, garlic, onions, sugar peas, and basil in oyster sauce...this one sounds like a winner), and the Bangkok Duck Curry (duck meat in yellow curry coconut milk, onions, straw mushrooms, and cilantro). They had not printed any takeout menus when I asked for one but you can view the menu in its entirety on their website. I look forward to ordering again from work during my lunch break. read more

Hands down the best Thai/Viet/Lao restaurant in town. Siam Cuisine serves the most flavorful pho, and that 20-minute drive from my location is always worth it--even with closer spots nearby. The service is warm and straightforward, and the menu has a huge selection. Every dish tastes like it's made with care, and that quality really shows in the atmosphere of the restaurant. My only wish is that they get on delivery app services. read more

This beautiful Vietnamese (+ Thai, Lao) restaurant, is conveniently located on Dimond Blvd. Their space is noticeably bright and clean. I love the various menu art found throughout their building. I have yet to dine in, but my family has, and they are huge fans. Siam serves beer and wine, so it's only a matter of time, before I'm here often, too. Service over the phone is always pleasant. The take out counter is friendly and fast. Siam's veggie fried rice is amazing. As well as their pad Thai's, pho, and other soups. Highly recommend. read more

Definitely the service needs improvement!! Waited over an hour and a half only to NOT get my order, they kept messing it up. I ordered a fried pork plate and twice they came out with a fried chicken plate instead. After the second attempt I just cancelled my order and ate nothing. I'm always a little leery of "variety" restaurants (e.g. pizza and Chinese food but not fusion or Thai, Korean, Chinese all under one roof) and even though the restaurant name says Thai only all the other signage suggests Vietnamese and Lao under one roof. I went in anyways and enjoyed it a lot! I might be a little lenient with the stars since there was dine in option during covid but sitting for 40 mins, the take out order has been non stop! Ordered drunken noodles and it comes standard medium spicy which was a good balance of tasty spicy and nose runny. Went big and ordered it with shrimp, which they weren't too skimpy with so I'm happy. It was a little saucy/wet then I'm used to but the homemade soft chewy noodles made up for it. Thai iced coffee was also delicious. Will be back to venture into the other "country's" option read more

This is one of our fave resturaunts in Anchorage, we have come here for so many birthday family dinners as well, or just whenever we don't feel like cooking. Great to go orders as well, it's always hot when we get home. read more

Love the atmosphere almost as much as the food. Great chicken wings, oxtail soup, fresh spring rolls, sukiyaki, and moo tod. We also enjoyed the Thai coffee and Thai tea. I love this place, been here a couple times . The service is Wonderful, and it's quiet. The Food is amazing. My mom ordered the crispy pork belly with Bokchoy in mushroom sauce (no spice). Was one of the most delicious things I had ever tasted. I ordered Chicken larb 3x's spicy, was so delicious but could have been little spicier. The fried spring rolls are crispy as ever. read more

Asked for a small pho with no meat and all additions on the side, I dont like cilantro. Got it with onion and cilantro. Brought it to thwir attention. Came back without those, but a different broth. So maybe because I asked for no meat they gave me a vegetable broth? But the first broth was definitely beef. They denied it and it cost $17 for something I didn't eat. Didn't offer to take it off my bill. read more

I been sleeping on this place! Upset I didn't try this place sooner but thrilled I found them! Best thai iced tea with grass jelly I have ever had. I usually don't like thai teas because they are too sweet but this was just perfect. My favorite was the pad thai and house fried rice. Price is on the more expansive side but the fresh ingredients and portion makes it well worth it. 10/10 recommend. read more

Wow! I've been on a quest to finally try all the places I tell all my fellow Yelpers I'll try. I've been ignoring my old stand-by's. I've been getting outside my comfort zone. I'm trying new things. Boy am I glad I hit this one! This is my new favorite place for Thai lunch specials! You can get not one, but TWO different mains. It comes with soup, rice, rolls (fried or spring), and a fortune cookie at the end. For two mains it's about $12. I got green curry and fried basil for my mains, both were bright, fresh, and spicy! Service was friendly and hauntingly fast. read more

Ok. First I want to apologize for all of us diving in and chowing before the photos. The smell was amazing. We could not resist!!!! The restaurant was super clean and fresh, very organized. I noticed the condiments on the table were wiped and kept clean. It was really nice not having to hand sanitize the table and everything. I felt really good about the environment. The menus were wiped and clean. There are photos everywhere of yummy food and drinks. Made my mouth water even in the entryway! The server was super patient and very polite. He was more than happy to answer all of our questions. We don't eat Thai food too often so we had a lot of questions. Kudos to him for sure! I can't remember his name but he will remember us I'm sure. . Dinner was sooo delish. I am soo excited to go back and try something new! However. I unfortunately ordered the dish with the wide noodles. Now. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the dish. The flavor is amazing. But next time. I will get the thin noodles. My personal preference is that I did not care for the texture of those wide ones. But that is me. I think everyone should try for themselves. We were all super happy and full when we left. Had tons of leftovers. And I ate all my leftovers after I removed the noodles. Lol. It was bomb.com. Thank you Ps. The bathrooms were also very clean!!! That's always a very good sign. And they stayed late past closing while we sat and chit chatted. And did not rush us at all. Now that was super impressive. I do want to apologize to all the employees for holding them up. It was not intentional. Will try not to let that happen again. read more

Don't ever go there !! We found hair in my plate and they didn't even apologize and gave us a military discount the first time and second time they said they don't do it anymore Unfortunately we also heard they were mocking us just for asking them why they didn't apologize for it but instead acting like it was a normal thing to find hair in their plate just move it and keep on eating they literally made that face read more

This place is insanely amazing. It also helps confirm my theory that the best Thai restaurants in America are in Alaska. Doesn't really matter if you're in Fairbanks or Anchorage. It's funny cause I was reading reviews on another similarly named place, and they recommended the corn cakes, then when I got to this place I realized it wasn't the other place but it had corn cakes. Man, those corn cakes are seriously a reason just to go to Alaska...And now I dream about them when I'm going to sleep. I ordered the vegan tofu larb (vegan here just means they don't put the fish sauce in it, so if you're ok with fish sauce just order the vegetarian version), and it was the best larb outside of Thailand that I've had. Guam was close but this topped. This place really knows how to work the flavors effectively. 11/10 would book a flight here just to have the food again. read more
