A MUST every time I am in Anchorage. Excellent Customer Service. Food is always sooo good. We tried the calamari and wings as an appetizer. My boyfriend got the duck curry & yakisoba - delicious. I got the spicy basil crispy pork. To die for. The environment is so welcoming. Highly recommend.

Friendly and delicious food. Many options to pick from! The windows bring in a lot of natural light.

Oh this place is GLORIOUS. When I first moved to Anchorage a decade and a half ago, I saw this place ranked high on the list of Thai/Laotian restaurants and flagged it on Yelp as a place to visit. Sadly, it took me until now to finally visit this wonderful gem. First, I'll note that their status on Yelp has not diminished. They are rightfully popular. Its so interesting inside. There's a lot to look at. It appears to be family run. I enjoyed watching their interaction. These people are all in. They're so nice. These are the kind people you want to support in your community. And the food... dear lord. The variety and artists of the offerings. I could eat there every day for a month and not scratch the surface. I really wish I had more reasons to visit this part of town- Siam is really something special. The prices are a little higher than I expected- that was probably my only complaint. But you pay more for quality- and I'm ok if it means supporting a lasting business. Check them out, you won't regret it

The food was delicious! The atmosphere was great, friendly, fast service too. Recommending you go there, family friendly.

Huge restaurant and good for groups. I think there was a table of 20 when we went. I also love the wall art on the one end of the room. Service is not always the fastest but staff is friendly. Their menu is huge and I'm always indecisive when I come here. My fiancé always gets the pork belly fried rice. I do love the lunch combos so you can try different entrees.

Went in for the lunch special. You get two small entrées, rice, and egg drop soup with a choice of spring or fried roll. It's 18.95. The service was friendly and fast and the food was hot and delicious. I enjoyed trying two different little entrees. I got the garlic chicken and the masaman curry this time which was a fun contrast of flavor. I used to go here all the time back in the 2000s when they had a great lunch bar, but after that closed, I haven't been back often. I really enjoyed it though. I'll definitely go back to try more lunch combo choices.

The first thing to hit the table was egg drop soup with pork. Nice starter. Then my Moo Tod (Fried Pork Belly) came and it's so well fried. It has a spicy sauce that is unique, lime, garlic, hot chili pepper and fish sauce absolutely lovely! I took half home with me and had it for lunch another day. Wow that dipping sauce was so tangy good! Judy got a lunch combo where you pick 2 items. Pad Thai Noodle Chicken & Green Chicken Curry. Both excellent and we'll be back. Already dreaming of the fried pork belly and sauce dancing in my mouth again!

    Time for lunch!

I came here for lunch while running errands earlier today. Siam Cuisine is located at the corner of W. Dimond Blvd. and Angela Pl. next to the Creekside Mall and across from the Burlington Coat Factory. The dining area is spaciously laid out with a modern wood interior and adorned with ornaments and pieces native to southeast Asia. The employees are very friendly and greet you warmly upon arrival. The menu here is vast with a wide variety of Thai, Laotian, and Vietnamese dishes. It was hard to choose only because there were so many good items to pick from. I decided to go with their lunch special, $18.95 with a choice of two entrees, Chicken Egg Drop Soup, and a choice of Deep Fried or Fresh Spring Roll. Steamed rice comes with your order but you can substitute with either brown rice or egg fried rice for an additional charge. I decided to go with the Panang Chicken Curry (mixed vegetables in coconut milk curry) and the Chicken Wings covered in sweet and sour sauce and green onions. I only had to wait 10 minutes or more for my order to arrive which is reasonable given the lunch crowd that was there today. The Panang Chicken Curry was some of the best I've had in awhile, the perfect level of spiciness and flavor as well as a good amount of vegetables mixed in with tender chunks of chicken. I made sure not to waste any of that delicious curry sauce by pouring the rest on my rice. The Chicken Fried Wings were also great, juice running down my chin indicating it was perfectly fried as I took a bite. The sweet and sour sauce was a good complement for added flavor. There is no doubt in my mind that I would come back again to try some of the other items on their menu. Items to take note of for future visits include the Rama Peanut Sauce Halibut (steamed halibut with mixed vegetables and spinach topped with peanut sauce), Pho Soup with brisket and meatballs, Spicy Crispy Pork Belly with Basil Sauce (jalapenos, garlic, onions, sugar peas, and basil in oyster sauce...this one sounds like a winner), and the Bangkok Duck Curry (duck meat in yellow curry coconut milk, onions, straw mushrooms, and cilantro). They had not printed any takeout menus when I asked for one but you can view the menu in its entirety on their website. I look forward to ordering again from work during my lunch break.

Amazing food. The chicken panaang was the best I've ever had! It was creamy, savory, sweet and spicy all at once. The service was friendly. The place has a nice casual ambiance and is located in a great and easy to get to location. Just GO!!

I like the beef salad but.... I quit picking up food. I've had several noodle dishes that have had hair in them. I seen another review, where they didn't even care that hair was in one of their dishes; so I didn't bother to let anyone at Siam know.

This beautiful Vietnamese (+ Thai, Lao) restaurant, is conveniently located on Dimond Blvd. Their space is noticeably bright and clean. I love the various menu art found throughout their building. I have yet to dine in, but my family has, and they are huge fans. Siam serves beer and wine, so it's only a matter of time, before I'm here often, too. Service over the phone is always pleasant. The take out counter is friendly and fast. Siam's veggie fried rice is amazing. As well as their pad Thai's, pho, and other soups. Highly recommend.

Great service. Great location and restaurant. Ken was a great server! Got me exactly what I wanted. It's from their basil menu but I usually see at other places as pad ka pao add pineapples and it tasted phenomenal. We came 30mins before closing and it was worth it! Thank you Siam cuisine!

Always great service, very friendly. Clean area and music is not too loud. Food is fantastic and portions are just right. Love their calamari appetizer. Moo Tod is my favorite dish!

They were able to sit the people coming in and filled to go orders constantly. It was not a moment that went by, that no one walked through the door. How could I miss this spot for 3 years? There was one server, but she served everyone with a smile on her face. My daughter and I enjoyed the ambiance, presentation, and the food was delicious! I don't know what type of dipping sauce came with the fresh rolls, but never had at any other Thai restaurants. It was nice and light, tasted like basil with a hint of spice. There was not one thing I can think of complaining about. By the way, the water tasted crisp and the waitress came around and refilled our cups. Great experience!

The food is spicy, as it should be. We thought a three on their spice level from 1-5 would be medium. But it was properly hot and delicious! Get the papaya salad, it's refreshing with its sour, sweet, and spicy combination that defines Thai cuisine. We also got the pad see ew with shrimp. Balanced and delicious. And the gra pow fried rice with chicken, I could eat that all by myself. I mean, if you don't like basil, are you even Asian? My mouth was burning but burning happy. A real gem of a restaurant for Anchorage. Will miss this food when we are back home in Minnesota.

But tonight, after going to a different Thai food restaurant, who are now takeout only, which is a no-go, I needed an alternate, so I randomly selected from Yelp, a good Thai food recommendation, and when this appeared, I realised it was the place where I'd gotten the good Massaman from. However, their description states they are noted for their standout Panang. The interior is ok, not fine dining, standard tables and chairs, not too cluttered with artwork, and music was playing. As I also love Panang, I chose to have that with chicken, and husband ordered something called Khao Mu Dang. We also ordered a Thai Tea. The server was energetic, and smiled a lot. We didn't have to wait long, I was served a hefty portion of rice, and a big bowl of curry sauce. Mine came out first, and I started without him. I must say that I do agree, this is standout Panang, and it's the best I've had in Anchorage. It's just the right amount of kick. Just enough to get my nose running after a few mouthfuls. The sauce is amazing, and the chicken is plentiful, and very tender, and I do have leftover sauce and rice in the fridge for later. If it were served on its own as a soup, without rice, I'd call it "Chicken Soup for the Soul" because it surely did my soul good, even eating it alone without rice. Superb, perfectly spiced, perfectly seasoned, deliciously umami. I think I could eat this several times a week, and not feel cheated. His dish had some pretty spectacularly flavoured pork, it was delicious, and the sauce, yet again, so good, but his was what they call a "dry dish" whereas mine was "soupy" or maybe they call it wet. I don't know, all I know is, that the amount of times I was saying "mmmm" was kind of embarrassing. So, that was an absolutely delightful dinner, and I'm grateful because we'd not been anywhere in recent weeks that thrilled me like this. Will definitely be back for more. The Thai Tea was also very good.
