They were relatively quick and food came out quickly, but there was no follow through, no water refill. The pho was pretty solid. After watching a movie my niece and I went here for early dinner. It's cold and there's no best way to eat but noodle soup! It's my first time eating here but Ive been seeing them whenever I do grocery shopping across them at Seafood City. The food was good and service is great plus the place is clean too. The food is alright but the service was subpar today. The server dipped his finger in my soup while setting it on the table, not once but twice. I lost my appetite entirely. We were provided just 3 waters for 5 people (I guess children don't require h2o?) and our boba drink came with a narrow straw that doesn't fit boba? We also don't get any plates for the appetizer and the dipping sauce only for brought out once we were already eating them.... Decent place for Vietnamese food in the area. They have an expansive menu and good selection for Pho soups. We've been here a few times and this place has plenty of tables for dining in and a quick order for takeout. Typically, the wait time is around 10-15 minutes if your order in. From the start, the waitress was rude and did not want to answer any questions regarding the menu. We ordered 3 dishes: 1) Pho Tai--the broth consisted of excessive amounts of salt and MSG. There were only 3 paltry pieces of meat in it; 2) Vermacilli bowl with beef--the beef was completely burnt; and 3) Seafood dish--this was salty, hard, and inedible. The seafood smelled awful. We informed the waitress to take away the dish and she rolled her eyes and was rude. We then heard the cook behind yelling rude comments about us. It was beyond rude to hear them cursing. The utensils were also dirty with an oily and sticky film on each spoon, knife, and chopstick. Afterwards, we all had horrible food poisoning. Yet another good pho spot to add to my list! The broth was earthy, savory, and sooo soothing. The meat was cooked well and I especially love the gelatinous tendon meat. They are quite generous with noodles too. Bean sprouts, jalapeños, lemon, and the usual sides that accompany pho were all fresh. Overall, super delicious bowl of pho. I also got an avocado smoothie which I've been meaning to try for the longest time. I expected it to taste pretty artificial but I was wrong. The avocado flavor really shines through which I love. It's light and creamy, not at all overpowering in sweetness. Yum! Only downsides: the restaurant accepts only cash yet they have no sign posted anywhere to let you know that ahead of time. It was a bit inconvenient for our party. Also, the restaurant is definitely not the cleanest. Many flies roam the air and the tables have a slightly sticky feel. This is my family's go-to pho restaurant! It's the closest one to my house and usually never has a wait. Their pho always hits the spot. Their appetizers are super good too! I ordered their combination Pho rice soup with chicken, fish ball, shrimp, and beef. I always opted for the rice noodle instead of the egg noodle. This noodle is so delicious. It comes in different sizes such as small, medium, and large. Unless I'm hungry, I order the medium size coz I know I can finish it. I'm a Pho lover and they make this Pho the way I like it. We ordered the Dac Biet & Bo Vien (pho bo with special rare steak, well done flank, brisket, tendon, tripe & beef ball), a plain pho with no meat and the Cha Gio (Vietnamese fried egg rolls). The pho tastes fairly standard for a bowl of pho, which is to say the soup was good but nothing special. And for the Dac Biet & Bo Vien, they only had one size: medium. For someone like me who is used to smaller portions, the portions here - even the medium - were just so large. And the meat was a bit tough, which made it difficult to chew and really enjoy. But to be honest, the real star of the meal was the vegetarian egg roll. It tasted delicious, served piping hot. The outside was wonderfully crunchy, the insides were amazingly savory and the sauce perfectly complemented the egg rolls. Even though this was the vegetarian egg roll, it was so rich and flavorful.
