Great place for phos and Vietnamese foods. What I like about this place is the customer services. Very friendly staffs and great selection of foods. Besides phos, I really like their chicken wings. I used to go to pho places in Milwaukee but its too far from where I live now. If you live in Milwaukee suburbs side, this place is the bomb. Very clean and modernized interiors. Ok. Freakin' $14 Bun is freakin' crazy! Pho for $11 is even crazier for a regular bowl. And, to top it off...it is in Milwaukee, WI of all places. Damn! My friend and I came here for lunch and right off the bat, things started going downhill. Upon being seated, we asked for lemon with our water. We were promptly given lime without an apology or an explanation. Pho arrives and here's where things get really hairy, or should I say rubbery... The pho was mediocre. The broth was brown. It smelled right but then when you tasted it, you could tell right away that it just wasn't right. I've eaten Pho for years. I love it. When I'm sick, like I was today, it's the only thing that I want and this although hot, was a let down. My friend also was unhappy. She's eaten Pho since she was a child. Her mom has made Pho. She can make Pho. But we were on a lunch hour so it felt like a waste of time to protest. She got the #2 (Pho with flank steak, tendon, tripe, meatballs and rare steak). I had the #14 Meatballs and rare steak. We were brought a tiny plate with ONE sprig of basil that had black spots on it with it, along with 2 slices of jalapeno and some bean sprouts. We got another plate of black spotted basil and at point, just hoped that it would get better.. My friend was probably 10 bites in when all of a sudden, there was something, brown, rubbery and something that was definitely not natural. It wasn't a noodle. It wasn't anything I had ever seen. It was a little bit curly, cooked and weird looking, and certainly not anything that you should put in your mouth. My friend touched it and then exclaimed, "OMG It's a rubber band!" Sure enough the stringy brown cooked thing, that was uniform in width and stretchy made sense. EWWWW!! It was a rubber band. She immediately quit eating. If I didn't have a cold, I would have too. Just the idea of a cooked piece of rubber that had boiled in the soup, was disgusting. Lunch was officially over. We signaled for a server over and over and over and over.. the first server ignored us, the 2nd one came over, answering sharply that she had our check right here, as if we were being rude when we had asked.My friend told her that there was a rubber band in her Pho. The server immediately got defensive. She said, "That's not a rubber band. That's a piece of the tendon. That's what it looks like." Mind you, my friend and I have eaten Pho with tendon for probably over 20 yrs and NEVER had a piece of tendon that looked like this. The server backed off and said she would talk to her manager. We waited.. our lunch hour WAY over at this point.. And then she came back with a small plate with tendon on it. She immediately shoved this plate in my friends face and said.." See this is what tendon looks like!" See it looks exactly like that!" She was loud, argumentative and rude. My friend and I relented. It was obvious that no matter what, she would NOT admit that this was NOT tendon. Even if in some weird way it wasn't tendon, the server handled it all wrong. When my friend had leaned over and politely said," I think there's a rubber band in my soup/" she didn't apologize or act in any way concerned. She immediately cocked her head, as if too imply.. " so you obviously don't know what Pho is, your stupid." Then for her to bring over a piece of tendon and literally shove it into my friends face was really the cherry on the whole situation. All in all, the Pho was mediocre, and service is great (As long as you enjoy humiliation and pubic shaming) and don't forget the boiled rubber bands! Also a hidden treasure! We came here for dinner. We ordered shaking beef and chargrilled pork w vermicelli. The vermicelli bowl was good. The shaking beef was sub par. The dish was small, beef was not tender, and I don't think I can even call it shaking beef. It was in a clear sourish sauce. I had a shaking beef in other vietnamese restaurants and friend's house. This place is so freaking amazing. Super fast service, fresh ingredients, plentiful portions (pro tip: pay $1 extra for the extra large bowl and have lunch for the next day). The first dish I had I was not a big fan of. It was a noodle dish that came with a side of a minty sweet sauce. I'm sorry I do not remember the exact dish name. I'm pretty picky about my Vietnamese food, so it takes a lot to impress me. But I absolutely love this place! The food is very authentic and everything I've tried has been delicious, including the mi xao don and bubble tea. The staff is very friendly, restaurant is clean, and service is fast. It's a bit pricey in comparison to other Viet places, but it's well worth it. There are a ton of pho places, but it's really rare to find amazing pho. And this place has it, it's so good! It's authentic, flavorful and light, the way it should be, perfectly seasoned. Definitely comparable to pho in Saigon and Cali. Will definitely be coming back time and time again. read more

I've been waiting to visit this place! I wasn't disappointed at all! The dining area was very clean, very spacious. Service was great. Greeted and seated right away. Ordered the rare beef, meatball, and shrimp pho, and was not disappointed. The broth was perfectly cook and flavorful. Also had the pork bahn me and was not disappointed! The bread was soft in the inside but perfectly crispy on the outside. The meat was amazing. I personally think it's better than most shops out there. Very authentic place! We had a large group, after a long day, and our dinner was exactly what we all needed. Everyone enjoyed their meal very much, and our server made the visit an extra fun one. As for my meal, I had the #78--fried noodles and BBQ pork, which is wonderful. I especially liked the presentation of the fried noodles, which look like a bird's nest into which an excellent and tasty selection of veggies and really tasty thin-sliced BBQ pork are placed. The other bigger waitress with long hair is one of the worst servers I've ever had. She never takes away our dirty plates or fills our water. Had 2 diff orders of spring rolls (beef and pork) waitress was unable to tell me which was which. Saw a picture of what I wanted to order but was not able to find the number to offer it. We looked through the ENTIRE menu, the waitress had no clue what or where it was on the menu. We ordered the pad Thai, it was bland and most of all, it was watery. The spring rolls were just meat and noodles, no lettuce, spring onions etc. Their bubble tea was one of the worst I've had in the city!! It was all watery, and hints of strawberry flavor. (90%water 10%fruit) I just took one sip and left it to the garbage, most disappointing. The food is overpriced, maybe because of the location? I think this is one of the nicest and cleanest Vietnamese restaurants I've been to in the Milwaukee area. You can tell the employees have pride and understand customer service, which is something lacking in many of the other Vietnamese restaurants. We've been frequenting this place for the last 2yrs or so and enjoy most of the foods. Service is always courteaous and fast. If anything, their bubble teas can have a chemical taste and are probably not all made with fresh fruits but maybe a powder product. Their banh mis also taste boring and the meat can be dry so I avoid them but all in all, a very good effort! read more

Nice dining atmosphere, reasonably priced with a vegetarian menu. However not the best Pho in Milwaukee. I ordered the #1 which is large Pho with all the fixings, tripe, beef, tendon, meatballs etc. I know part of eating pho is seasoning it to your own pallete, but I feel this broth was overly simple...not bad, just kind of plain and salty. IMHO - Pho should be rich, savory-somewhat floral in aroma. The portions were also smaller than I'm used to, a large should've been a chore to eat but I found myself stirring a big bowl of broth wondering where the noodles went. Overall it was OK. I really like the smoothies but the pho really didn't hit home for me. There's bigger, better bowls of Pho to be had in Milwaukee. read more

I came here for the first time during a busy lunch crowd. I was in the area for work and this was the only Asian restaurant nearby so I decided to try it out. I ordered the pork bahn mi. The pork meat itself had good flavoring but this does not compare to the bahn mi's I've had from Chicago. I think it is obviously made for westerners taste. I was so sad there was no pate in the bahn mi :( I also ordered the pork spring rolls, loved the peanut dipping sauce! It was probably one of the best sauces I've ever had for spring rolls. However I do think $5.95 for 2 spring rolls is a bit high.. Service was okay, I never got my water refilled and it took about 20 minutes just to get my bill. They honestly have generally good customer service. The waiters are somewhat friendly, not as conversational as other servers I've seen but they are all around respectful and considerate of your environment. I come here any time I'm in the area which is quite frequently. I typically get the com trung thit nuong, which is the rice, boneless pork with eggs and it also comes with vegetables such as cucumbers, carrots, and lettuce. There is also nuoc mam (fish sauce) that comes with it to really bring out the flavor. The meal itself is wonderfully cooked and it all comes together so tastefully and delicately. The furnishing in the restaurant is also incredibly aesthetically pleasing despite the green color on the walls. However, they manage to use this green color to balance the rest of the furniture. The best day to go would be on Sundays around four to seven o'clock in the evening since they also televise football on the TVs. read more

So I just went to Pho one24 just to go try it out but I wasn't really hungry I just want to have something different for the night instead of just the good old rice and meat at home. So I got there and the waiter came and I said well what is your portion on #1 (pho) which is the larger version of number 2, he pointed to the counter and there's two different sizes one is quite smaller than the other.I was like okay I don't want to be disappointed so I wanted to have the full experience of having that #1 so I said I'll take the #1. I was hoping to come home with my stomach so full that I will be complaining the whole night about my stomach being so full but that not the case. On the menu it specifically said number one is larger then number two. Okay here's the part when I received my pho, the pho have 3 piece chop cilantro 5 to 6 peace chopped green onion and you could literally see that much only and for the protein I counted it four meatballs quarters, 3 rare steak slice, and 2 briskets slice that it. There was hardly any rice noodle in the bowl the quantity of rice noodle in the bowl of pho is consider to be a small for the general people or to the people who love to go dine for pho(pho lovers). That dish should not even being call #1 it should be call FAC( fool a customer).On this level of the degree I cannot even imagine to grade them on their service grade them on their store grade them about their food its not even on the chart!
