This is the best pho and bun reataurant in southeaster Wisconsin! ( I would say all of Wisconsin but have not tried them in most other parts of the state:)) Having moved here from Seattle where pho restaurants are everywhere we were looking for a good place as soon as we moved here two years ago. After trying the only there we could find in Milwaukee and being disappointed we decided to try PHO One24. It is a 30 minute drive from our house and worth every minute. Both the original and vegetarian pho are so flaverful delicious, spiced perfectly, and never a disappointment. All of the bun dishes are fresh and perfectly portioned. The owners of the restaurant are kind and caring and make sure that everything is running smoothly and you are always happy with your meal. It is a very clean restaurant with a fun atmosphere. We have never had a less than great meal here. Highly recommended! read more

Went here with a co worker. Ordered #85 beef with Lemmon grass. My friend ordered squid dish which came with hair on the rice. Yaikes! ! Nothing great to say about the food. Of course the hair was a put off. Clean & open interior, friendly staff, quick service, and tasty Pho. Wandered in last night for looking for something warm and comforting after a long day and this definitely did the trick. I ordered the #13, with meatballs, and was very happy with both the presentation and flavor. We were given plenty of condiments, but I didn't even need them - I loved the hint of spice in the broth and thought it stood alone perfectly. I would certainly recommend and return! I love the decorations especially the art décor on the walls. However, the food is okay at this location. I personally do not like the beef pho here but the seafood pho here is delicious! There is also a secret menu for Bun Bo Hue (you just have to ask the waiters about it), this is one of my beloved noodle soup dishes!! Some times they might not have the ingredients to make it so please ask when you are ordering. As for the Banh mi I was kind of disappointed with the bread that was used. I only wish that the baguette or bread that was used could had been toasted to make the bun a little more crispy on the outside. read more

The service was absolutely unacceptable. There was a particular server who came by a few times. One time while bringing us a cup of tea, my boyfriend was randomly glancing at his smart watch that flashed a message, and the server asked "you have somewhere to be?" First of all, that is none of his business or concern. Second, he said it with a horrible attitude as if we should not be there if we are glancing at our watches. Another time, that same server came to check on us after we started eating our food. He asked how everything is. I said "it's ok," then, he turned around with a smirk and said "it's JUST ok?" That again is a VERY inappropriate comment to make to your customer. Rather than asking me if there are any areas for improvement, he mocked me and challenged my answer. He made it sound like my answer was insufficient for their quality of food, which in my opinion, "just ok" was more than adequate for what we were served. His arrogant attitude is enough for me not to return. In addition to the entire awkward atmosphere and rude server, they had some malfunctioning with the new chip credit cards, and required the customer to tell them the tip amount ahead of time because they cannot do adjustments after a charge. Thus, I switched to a non-chipped Discover card, which they do not accept. I'm fully aware that not all businesses accept Discover, but it's definitely been a while since I've encountered that inconvenience. Thus, just trying to pay for my meal caused me more inconveniences than I ever would have received from Pho King the next city over. The pho was very mediocre, and the egg rolls had 3x too much wrapping that made the rolls very stiff. UPDATE: Based on the owner's comment to my post, it is obvious that this business is unwilling to take criticism. Unfortunately, having 4+ star rating does not mean the rude incidents do not occur, nor is it the customer's fault for "misunderstanding." Furthermore, the comment only responded to some parts and not ALL of the listed rude incidents that occurred. read more

It was ok- not a lot of flavor with the noodle dishes. We thought it as pricey for what you get. The bubble tea was yummy.

I asked my server a simple question what ingredients are in the pho they serve, she didn't know what to say. So I asked her specifically if there was cinnamon in the seasoning she replied no. I am allergic to cinnamon and I tasted it in the broth. I went to the owner and that's when she decided to inform her servers what was in her food. More places need to be aware pf allergies and be more respectful of it. Owner was a smartass when she approached me, and gave me a different dish. I have stopped in several times in the past year and noticed the food was getting progressively worse. The pho was tasting either watered down or overly fish saucy. Great place, great service and best of all, great food. Had the Bahn Mi (Vietnamese sandwich)and it was very good. The bread was outstanding and the filling was a nice mi of pork and vegetables. My wife was in the mood for something on the lighter side and the waiter suggested the Bun Cha Gia Tom Nuong - grilled shrimp over rice noodles with vegetables. She loved it. This is a much needed addition to the Falls/Brookfield area. We will be back soon. read more

I stopped in for lunch on a rather cold September afternoon and I was super impressed. I ordered the meatball pho and the moment it is set in front of you, you know you're in for a good meal. The broth is extremely flavorful and aromatic. They give you a tray with all the traditional mix ins which the pho doesn't "need" but are fun to try out. I also had a bubble tea which was fantastic. The service was on point as well. I foresee this as a favorite spot through our long Wisconsin winter. read more

My wife and I had a dinner date in the Wauwatosa area and decided we would like to try a new Asian food restaurant, little to our surprise this gem is located next to a culver's we had recently visited, well needless to say we would pick this restaurant over that anyway. Egg rolls were disappointing. It was small and all I tasted was the fried skin. I special ordered a pho with three meats (Tendon, Rare Steak, Brisket) thinking it would cost the same as other three ingredient options on the menu but I was charged MORE than their large combo with 7 meats?!? I wasn't told ahead of time by the server and when I complained the manager stated was I got more meat with my special order... But the extra meat i got wasn't even that good! I would understand if it cost the same as their #1 Combo with 7 meats but being charged more than the most expensive Pho on the menu??? The tendon was not soft and chewy like other pho restaurants... it was dry and hard. The soup also was not as rich (even my 6 year old mentioned it wasn't as good as other places he's been). I'm visiting Milwaukee for the week and love Vietnamese food. I happened to find this place and ordered the spring rolls and veggie/tofu pho. First, the service was excellent and the staff was extremely friendly. Then, the spring rolls were delicious - I've never had spring rolls with avocado in them and they were delicious, along with the peanut sauce. I ordered take out since I only have a 30 min lunch, they proceed to mess up my order, (ordered tendon only, they me steak and flank, raw steak at that. They most not know raw steak doesn't cook well in warm pho). Their chicken banh mi was dry with no flavor which was $9! I had better $5 banh mi on the corner stores in Tacoma, WA. I grew up in Brookfield, so I'm well aware of the lack of ethnic restaurants. I'm so happy that this place is in Brookfield. The waiter was sassy but in a friendly way. He left a memorable impression. The decor is cute. We shared the pork bahn mi and the shrimp noodles. The shrimp weren't huge but you got a lot of them. The sauce on the noodles was flavorful and not heavy. The Bahn mi was solid. Not the best I've ever had. I really liked the bread it was served on. This place is amazing! 2 of had lunch here today and the service and food were both excellent. The prices are reasonable (especially given the generous portions). Every dish we ordered taste fresh, as if they just peeled all the veggies and butchered all the meat right before we arrived. Servers were friendly and professional. The place was clean, and the environment was nice. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone. The sandwiches are surprisingly good. The bread was insanely good, like it was just pulled out of the oven, crispy outside, warm soft inside, with great flavor as well. Soup had great flavor, I didn't really care for the tripe, but that is not because of anything the chefs did wrong, I just don't think tripe is up my alley. I just ate here with my kids on a quick trip to Milwaukee. I like to go to restaurants I don't have regular access to where I live when I'm in the city, and Vietnamese food is one of my favorites. I ordered a rice vermicelli bowl with grilled pork and egg rolls. I have had my fair share of bowls like this all over the place, and this was one of the better ones - definitely the best I've had in Wisconsin. The meat was perfectly marinated and grilled though a little fatty (some might say that's a good thing) and there were lots of crisp veggies. After my daughter ate one of the egg rolls, I almost ordered more. The only complaint I have is that the prices were a little steep compared to other places for a similar portion.
