I've been coming here since I was in high school so about 7-8 years and it's def one of my favorite pho restaurants. I always have to get an order of egg rolls even when I'm not that hungry because they're so good. Also a big fan of their spring rolls. My go to order is the p5 (pho noodles with rare steak) and occasionally I switch over to the stir fri egg noodles with shrimp. If you find yourself waiting for the bill at the end just go ahead and head up to the register because it is a very casual and laid back restaurant and they'll check you out up there! read more

They didn't give the Dasher the full meal, and when I called to try to resolve it, they refused to do anything to make it right. No apology, no offer to fix their mistake--just bad customer service. The pho here is mediocre at best. I felt like it almost tasted old... maybe it was just me. I ordered the #1 their special (which was supposed to be large). I didn't feel like it was a large OH and there is no meat balls in there (I didn't realize it didn't come with one until afterwards and I had to go back and read the description. We came here because of the Yelp ratings. I'm not sure if it was because we were got there around 5 or work, but there weren't anybody there. A big group came later when we left but that's it. The staff was nice. But there was some confusion on the order. when the server brought my pho, he said it was something else. I checked with someone else and confirmed it was my order. I didn't trust it but I was hungry so I just accepted it. I was disappointed. The pho definitely could've been better. Hence my rating. The noodle was under cooked. There wasn't much meat. He kept pushing me to order an appetizer by turning my menu back and pointing, when I was trying to turn to the vegetarian section. I finally said I was going to get there. Oh my god this place is SO GOOD! Such a hidden gem. Me and my friends came for spring break and found this place while doing a thrift crawl. Wifey and I were just talking about how expensive pho was now before walking in, so when we saw the prices here, we were amazed! However, when we got our bowls of pho with rare steak and brisket and bun bo hue, they looked small. I finished my pho in about 7 minutes and I was surprised at the great taste, but I was wanting more of it! Bun bo hue was great too (I thought) but wifey thought it was a little salty. Cashier "T" with a New York baseball cap with long hair was very rude bad customer service , upon paying cashier added tip to my check without confirming how much tip I was going to leave . Asked if I liked the food I said it was good he said okay you left cash on the table if the food was good then proceed to get upset over the tip verbalizing he lives off of the tip . Outstanding option for Pho in North County. First off, it's unassumingly tucked in a shopping strip alongside Church's Chicken and O'reilly Auto Parts. There's plenty of parking and the restaurant is very spacious. Service has always been extremely friendly and prompt. I can't recall an instance in which my water cup was empty. The food always comes out in a timely fashion and piping hot. Prices are very affordable too. Now onto the good stuff - I typically get the classic Pho Dac Biet which features everything. The portions are EPIC - there's an extremely generous amount of meat and we always leave feeling super satisfied. The broth is rich and deeply flavorful, while the meat quality and quantity are superb. All this for under $10/person. Hard to beat and highly recommended when craving pho in North County! read more

The egg rolls were bigger than average and I think it was delicious. The pho is yummy. It had a distinctive flavor perhaps a little too much clove but still very good. The grilled beef vermicelli dish was ok. I thought there was too much bean sprouts. My husband ordered their banh mi and he said it was ok. The calamari was an ok for me. My husband loved the beef spring rolls. I think I am most impressed by the prices here. It's very affordable. Also, on their menu they offer the Vietnamese omelette-like dish. It's a win for me. We came into town for a family event. Our hotel was nearby and saw this place on Yelp with some great reviews. Very glad we gave it a try....this place has real authentic Vietnamese food and it is reasonably priced. We loved everything we ordered. My wife and I just went there tonight then we were shocked to see their prices on menu that shows increased higher $. Example: The large bowl of broth soup with noodle, meats etc used to be about $10.95 - 11.95 then now $13.95 $14.95. Also, we noticed we got few meats, not enough. Everything is expensive now, thanked to inflation and California's new labor law requiring all restaurants to pay workers $20.00 per hour. We noticed their restaurant is almost empty except us and other couple during Friday at 6pm. The restaurant used to be popular during Friday nights. We are sad and feel sorry for our favorite pho restaurant. Maybe we will not eat at this restaurant again unless they returns to their original old price menu. read more

Legit Vietnamese food and great service. I had the pho with rare steak, brisket, and tendon. Good portions, but some of the meat was a little chewy. Husband had the broken rice combo that included chicken. I rarely see chicken as an option and it was good. My kids shared a chicken pho. The broth was a little salty and the chicken was really tough. We didn't bother eating the bits of chicken. Spring rolls were decent. High chairs available. Servers were very attentive but not constantly checking in on you, which I think is great. Sometimes I just want to sit and enjoy my meal or tend to my kids while we eat. read more

Both were delicious ! The tripe was a little too soft as I like them more chewy. The soup is very flavorful. Their spring rolls and egg rolls are pretty good as well. Their mango pudding dessert is the best!! I would highly recommend it. I also tried their rainbow coconut shaved ice dessert.
