We love this place! Coming from Philly where there is plenty of authentic Vietnamese restaurants this is comparable! Wonderful selection of food and it's always good! For a small town Pho place, Pho Now is really good! They have amazing, flavorful Pho and are willing to accommodate my aversion to cilantro every time I go. I never have to wait long for my food and it's always consistently good. The shrimp summer rolls and the fried rice are amazing as well. They have parred down their menu quite a bit since they opened, but everything that they left on there is still wonderful. I would definitely recommend! read more

Horrible experience, I ordered take out and what was described on the menu was what I brought home was not the same thing. We called to complain, they refused to refund the money or try to make the situation better. Thankfully we found a much better Pho place that is respectful and has customer service. Pho? Open on Sundays? To help nurse my dehydrated and hung over body from a long Saturday night? YES! PLEASE! I was waiting for this place to finally open and the fact that they are open on Sundays is just icing on the cake. I got the pho and my husband got the banh mi (original). His sandwich was on point-the flavor, the bread, it was great. We both got shakes. He got the avocado and I got the coconut and they were... delicious!! I was so happy with my shake and my pho. I have been to this restaurant a number of times. I can tell you that the crepe is very large so if you order it, plan on sharing it or make it your meal. The crepe is not as flavorful as I'd hoped but it's not bad. The summer rolls, (not fried) were filled with mostly lettuce, so I thought they could have been a little better. Now the pho is great. Portions are great and flavor is super. I prefer the shrimp pho. My husband has had the spring rolls and they were good. He also had the shrimp fried rice which was light and fresh. The service is very good at lunch. The evenings are a little different. The evenings have a different crew and they don't seem to be as good at handling crowds but everyone is extremely friendly and polite. read more

Ate in and ordered takeout here in the last month. Loved the food and the staff and service were super. Our takeout order was huge and they had it all ready in 20 minutes. A super nice man helped lug it all out to the car. Our foodie friends (including one pad Thai aficionado) were guarding boxes for leftovers. Drove all the way here to try their pho and was turned away. We arrived around 8 pm on a Thursday night and was told that the kitchen is closed. Their hours posted on Yelp and on their door indicates that they close at 8:30 pm. We asked if we can do a take out and they refused. There were customers still dining there so not sure why they would turn away business. Another couple also walked in behind us and they were turned away as well. If they close @ 8 pm, they should post the correct time. Very disappointing and won't be back for sure, so can't comment on their food. Luckily Mister Wok is on the same strip mall so we got take out there and the food was good. read more

You need to come here! This is an amazing vietnamese joint. I grew up in Saigon, Vietnam, so I have tasted the authentic Vietnamese foods plenty of times before. Typically, to enjoy a good bowl of pho and other Viet cuisine, you would have to drive down to Philly. Not anymore! Pho Now made it possible for me to have the taste of my native home right here in Downingtown. They have an extensive menu that includes Thai foods. If you get the pho or other soups to-go, make sure you boil the broth once you get home then pour it on the noodles or it won't come out right. I have been here at least 7 times and everything taste amazing every time. The price is very reasonable and the quality is top notch. Check them out! read more

I was skeptical about a new pho place in town. You know the other local pho places... Only one pho option! But PHO NOW has 18 pho options! And our pick was amazing. We ordered take out and and they were very polite and attentive, serving us water while we waited. Everything looked clean and immaculate. Excellent Pho!! Have to admit that went here expecting to be disappointed because I was hoping for something that would compare to an awesome bowl of Ramen I had while visiting LA last year. I tried Pho years ago in Maryland and was overwhelmed by amiunt if lemongrass in that version. I know Pho and Ramen are culturally different but i was pleasantly and deliciously surprised by the depth of flavor in Pho Now's dishes. Broth was clear and flavorful, toppings fresh and crisp, meat tender and fresh. Best of all, all those ingredients traveled well because we had as takeout. Restaurant does a phonemal job of packaging all the different components for carry out. Not one condiment or ingredient is left out. Saturday lunch at 2pm, it is very empty. The service is very good. At least provide all napkins and tools to kids and adults without asking. The price looks pricy, but the portion is unexpected huge. Wanted some bahn mi after kayaking so came here. They have apparently stopped serving bahn mi. I then got the tofu fried rice and asked for no meat, no egg, and no fish sauce. He brought me a plate of tofu and white rice. That's it. Then I asked if it could have some vegetables. So he took it back and added some vegetables. I took one bite and realized there was no flavor added to this fried rice. No salt. No sauce of any kind. Nothing. Ordered the combination pho (brisket, beef balls, tendon, etc.). It was pretty good and definitely plentiful. Service was courteous and quick. I don't typically give reviews, but its so well deserved and i will be saddened if they fall victim to the bad luck of the 2 restaurants that were there before them. The delicious pho comes with a small side plate of additions that you can put in your pho if you choose, such as bean sprouts, fresh basil, lime and jalapeño. The Pho is outstanding. Very large bowl EXCEPT for one issue-- I wish the chopsticks were not plastic. Not easy to eat slippery pork potstickers. Boy, they were excellent. My wife is hooked on rice paper wrapped summer rolls. So well made. We have only been twice, but each time was terrific. Please try it. I know you will love it. This place has the most authentic and delicious Pho I've had since moving here 4 years ago. I've only been once but I will go back. One major negative is service! I had to ask for someone to come take our order and also to bring the check. I've read other reviews that the service was lacking big time so I kind of expected it. It's true. You don't have to know anything about Vietnamese food to like this place. Great fresh food, everything's prepared on premises. Delicate flavors and items on the menu. Plus, it's a BYOB. The interior is nice and cozy. The menu has so many listings, it's hard to zero in on one. My wife and I just picked so different things and it was all great. My wife is very picky but shoe loved this place. We had an appetizer of summer rolls, so delicate and freshly made.
