Good, but not quite great. I decided to try a new pho spot in the area, hoping to find my next favorite. Right away, I was impressed by the man at the front--his enthusiasm was contagious. He greeted customers with a smile, took orders, and handled the register seamlessly, all while maintaining a warm and welcoming energy. The pho itself had great flavor, but unfortunately, it wasn't as hot as it should have been--that was my only real complaint. Other than that, the service and overall experience were solid. Still, I can't help but miss Thai on Tap. :(

I would rate this restaurant a 3.5/5. I ordered the large combination beef pho, a coconut shake, and the charbroiled pork rice plate. The pho was well-packaged and fresh, but the quantity of meat was underwhelming compared to other pho restaurants in the area. Additionally, I ordered extra beef balls, but they were missing from my order. The coconut smoothie was creamy and delicious, and the charbroiled pork rice plate was packed with flavor. It included rice, fish/sweet chili sauce, two grilled shrimps, an egg roll, cucumber, lettuce, and tomatoes. I highly recommend this dish, though I wish it came with more shrimp--most places provide four instead of two for at a lower price point. Overall, I had a good experience, but the portion sizes don't quite justify the price compared to local competitors. I'd like to try dining in to see if the experience differs from ordering through DoorDash.

Folsom can definitely use more Pho places so I was excited to see this new spot with their banner out front (took over a previous Thai place). I really enjoyed the bun bo hue; it has been a while since I had this yummy flavor. We'll be back for more!

Second time coming to this place. I work in El Dorado hills and drive to one when I can. The menu has all the viet favorites. The difference from a small or large pho is $1 so I get the large. The spring rolls with shrimp and grilled pork are delicious and actually do come out before your entree. Highly recommend the wings as well. The space is open, great lighting from the windows and the service is quick.

The dining inside is beautifully done! Looks like a new remodel . The location and the beautiful ambience of this restaurant made me really want to really like the food there. The beef soup Bun Ho Hue, on the other hand, just wasn't to my liking at all. The flavor was on the bland side, I didn't taste any fish sauce, lemongrass, or umami flavors in the dish. Would it be because I arrived at the opening time of the store? In my opinion, the broth needed to be seasoned more. Despite the fact that I added chili oil, fish sauce, and other ingredients, I didn't see a difference in the soup. Service was great ! Fast and friendly , very helpful young lady . The menu was very large , I would still suggest to try this place out.

We came in for a soup fix to beat this cold weather and right away our expectations were exceeded! We had the whole place to ourselves so service was very fast and food came out in less than 10 minutes. The pho is the better of what I've had in the area and they will definitely be my go-to for bun bo hue as well. They are so generous with the meat and the broth is so rich. Great balance between everything and I love that their menu has a lot to offer while not being overwhelming. The portions are big and priced well! The up charge for changing bowl sizes or adding extra items are all reasonable as well. You pay for what you get! The inside is very spacious and the bar is such a nice touch! The lobby was decorated all cute for the holidays too which adds a nice touch. We will come back and try their taps too. I'm very excited I have a new Vietnamese go-to spot so close to my home!

Coworkers and I have found a new lunch spot for quick service and tasty foods. Each time we've gone around noon time, there has been ample seating and when we order to-go, the food comes out fast.

This is my go to place for beef vermicelli bowl! It tastes great and they give you big portions. Their rare beef pho is good too! The cream cheese wontons were disappointing, the top was fried but the bottom of the wonton wrapper tasted raw. The main dishes made up for the cream cheese wontons.

Pork Bahn Mi

We had the beef bahn, mi pork bahn mi, pork spring rolls, Thai coffee, and the Vietnamese coffee. Everything was amazing! The food was super tasty and the meat seasoned perfectly! 10/10

First time trying this place and it did not disappoint. I had the "Bun Ga Nuong", Vermicelli with chicken, and it was good. The flavor was there, the bowl of the portion was perfect for me with the fish sauce left over as well. I usually tried these at many vietnamese restaurants to test the flavor and cook of the chicken with the fish sauce. Out of all the Pho in Folsom, this dish was number one on my list. Definitely recommended and will try the "Bun Bo Hur" next round. My son had Pho Tai, rare beef stake Pho, and its pretty much as expected flavors in many places, nothing too special for me so I rarely eat them. He enjoyed it as usuals. The waiter was nice and bery accommodating. The ambiance was clean, big and nice with bars as well.

New mom and pop Vietnamese restaurant in Folsom in a small off the path shopping center. The prices on the menu are still very reasonable. A good variety of food as well. Customer service was great. Bun Bo Hue - Spicy Beef Noodle Soup 4/5 There was definitely a kick in the broth and it's a good serving size. They were out of shrimp paste, but I think with it, the broth would level up. Grilled beef, shrimp and egg roll rice plate (+$2 egg) 4/5 very basic Vietnamese dish but still very yummy. The beef was very tender. Avocado Smoothie 3/5 - I think there was more ice and condensed milk than avocado. I would come back to try other itemsn if in the area, but not sure I would drive out of my way to come back. (They charge 3.5% fee if you use a credit card) Pretty typical these days, but it's not disclosed anywhere nor did they tell us.

#19 pho with flank and brisket.
Jenny L.

The pho broth is tasty and noodle is soft. The staff greet me immediately when I came in. Although, I ordered to go, but the service is good. This place is the same owner as Pho Basil in South Sacramento. I'm happy that we finally had a decent pho place here in Folsom. I will definitely be coming back. Note: they do charge a 3.5% credit card fee and they only make one size (large) for to go order.

I got the bacon on the side for my doggie because I don't eat pork, but it comes with tomato, fried onion straws, lettuce, and pickle. You have the choice between fries, tater tots, onion rings or a salad. Not pictured- the amazing seared ahi tuna salad 10/10 ask for a side of extra dressing. The portion is huge and price is totally worth it as they give you a healthy portion of ahi tuna. I mean this place does not disappoint with the sides or carb options for you burgers. I overheard someone next to me say how amazing the onion rings are and how they often fill themselves up too much on them before their regular meal. I chose sweet potato fries because this is always a better choice. I appreciate the sea salt grinder at the table along with having ketchup, mustard, and hot sauce all tables and ready for me. I really think it's a little annoying when restaurants don't have condiments or salt & pepper shakers out at the table and you have to bother the waiter with yet another request. This burger was cheesy and had all the necessary toppings plus really bomb bbq sauce on it. I added a little sea salt to the sweet potato fries and they tasted perfect. They have new and rotating beers and ciders and so I tried the apricot which was really good- nice that they let you taste before ordering as well. Service was great, everyone was nice and friendly and smiled, and I love the boots, jeans, and western feel of the place. As a dog lover I'm obsessed with alll the doggy pictures there. It made me smile and feel right at home. Can't wait to return when I'm in the area! Thanks for delicious food and great service!

I was torn between two drinks, and the bartender was super sweet, she let me sample both and even offered a third based on what I told her I liked. I wish I remembered what it was called, but her recommendation was on point: super fresh, great flavor, and exactly what I didn't know I needed. The food looked solid from what I saw others eating, so I definitely want to come back and actually try it next time. The back patio was also a whole vibe! Lots of seating, games, and great energy. It was freezing the night we were there, but the big fire pits made it totally bearable. I can only imagine how fun this place is in the summertime. Hanging out here with friends on a warm night? Big wins there. However, I'm going to throw out a complaint that throws off the vibe and why I only tip 10%. This switch to funneled counter service creates a disconnected experience where the servers and bartenders don't seem to matter. You stand in a long line that takes forever to get through. Beers aren't even listed on the overhead monitors. You feel rushed to put in your order because you're aware of everyone who is waiting behind you. Get your food, put your buzzer on a table. Someone shows up with it. When you need a drink, you have to get up and navigate a line, again. Again, I'm tipping 10% for that at most. This is counter service. If I have to get up, stand in line and get my own drinks? Not a premium experience. But the prices here? It feels really disconnected. You're charging $10 for a beer? I have to get up and stand in line to get one... It all just looks like and feels like someone who designed this workflow hasn't been in the service industry. Too many awkward disconnection points and a lack of continuity. Imagine you went to a bar with 5,000 sqft and everyone was funneled into a line with two registers. There are 30+ taps. They're charging a premium for food and beverage. It's a great space. Food is good. Staff is fine. But the vibe is just off. The story arc when you walk in to when you leave feels weird. Like a top-down edict from management trying to force patrons into an unnatural workflow trying to improve one part of the business while compromising 7 others, losing whatever soul in the process. And the tap selection is lazy. I'll update my review if the vibe changes. It's just painful to see such a great space so awkwardly used. It even mostly works until the execution falls flat. I mean, imagine having a drink and knowing you're going to have to wait 20 minutes in a line to get another one on a lazy Sunday afternoon. It's... weird. It's 2-stars weird. Someone thought this was a good idea?
