Good, but not quite great. I decided to try a new pho spot in the area, hoping to find my next favorite. Right away, I was impressed by the man at the front--his enthusiasm was contagious. He greeted customers with a smile, took orders, and handled the register seamlessly, all while maintaining a warm and welcoming energy. The pho itself had great flavor, but unfortunately, it wasn't as hot as it should have been--that was my only real complaint. Other than that, the service and overall experience were solid. Still, I can't help but miss Thai on Tap. :(

I would rate this restaurant a 3.5/5. I ordered the large combination beef pho, a coconut shake, and the charbroiled pork rice plate. The pho was well-packaged and fresh, but the quantity of meat was underwhelming compared to other pho restaurants in the area. Additionally, I ordered extra beef balls, but they were missing from my order. The coconut smoothie was creamy and delicious, and the charbroiled pork rice plate was packed with flavor. It included rice, fish/sweet chili sauce, two grilled shrimps, an egg roll, cucumber, lettuce, and tomatoes. I highly recommend this dish, though I wish it came with more shrimp--most places provide four instead of two for at a lower price point. Overall, I had a good experience, but the portion sizes don't quite justify the price compared to local competitors. I'd like to try dining in to see if the experience differs from ordering through DoorDash.

Folsom can definitely use more Pho places so I was excited to see this new spot with their banner out front (took over a previous Thai place). I really enjoyed the bun bo hue; it has been a while since I had this yummy flavor. We'll be back for more!

Second time coming to this place. I work in El Dorado hills and drive to one when I can. The menu has all the viet favorites. The difference from a small or large pho is $1 so I get the large. The spring rolls with shrimp and grilled pork are delicious and actually do come out before your entree. Highly recommend the wings as well. The space is open, great lighting from the windows and the service is quick.

The dining inside is beautifully done! Looks like a new remodel . The location and the beautiful ambience of this restaurant made me really want to really like the food there. The beef soup Bun Ho Hue, on the other hand, just wasn't to my liking at all. The flavor was on the bland side, I didn't taste any fish sauce, lemongrass, or umami flavors in the dish. Would it be because I arrived at the opening time of the store? In my opinion, the broth needed to be seasoned more. Despite the fact that I added chili oil, fish sauce, and other ingredients, I didn't see a difference in the soup. Service was great ! Fast and friendly , very helpful young lady . The menu was very large , I would still suggest to try this place out.

We came in for a soup fix to beat this cold weather and right away our expectations were exceeded! We had the whole place to ourselves so service was very fast and food came out in less than 10 minutes. The pho is the better of what I've had in the area and they will definitely be my go-to for bun bo hue as well. They are so generous with the meat and the broth is so rich. Great balance between everything and I love that their menu has a lot to offer while not being overwhelming. The portions are big and priced well! The up charge for changing bowl sizes or adding extra items are all reasonable as well. You pay for what you get! The inside is very spacious and the bar is such a nice touch! The lobby was decorated all cute for the holidays too which adds a nice touch. We will come back and try their taps too. I'm very excited I have a new Vietnamese go-to spot so close to my home!

Coworkers and I have found a new lunch spot for quick service and tasty foods. Each time we've gone around noon time, there has been ample seating and when we order to-go, the food comes out fast.

This is my go to place for beef vermicelli bowl! It tastes great and they give you big portions. Their rare beef pho is good too! The cream cheese wontons were disappointing, the top was fried but the bottom of the wonton wrapper tasted raw. The main dishes made up for the cream cheese wontons.

We had the beef bahn, mi pork bahn mi, pork spring rolls, Thai coffee, and the Vietnamese coffee. Everything was amazing! The food was super tasty and the meat seasoned perfectly! 10/10

First time trying this place and it did not disappoint. I had the "Bun Ga Nuong", Vermicelli with chicken, and it was good. The flavor was there, the bowl of the portion was perfect for me with the fish sauce left over as well. I usually tried these at many vietnamese restaurants to test the flavor and cook of the chicken with the fish sauce. Out of all the Pho in Folsom, this dish was number one on my list. Definitely recommended and will try the "Bun Bo Hur" next round. My son had Pho Tai, rare beef stake Pho, and its pretty much as expected flavors in many places, nothing too special for me so I rarely eat them. He enjoyed it as usuals. The waiter was nice and bery accommodating. The ambiance was clean, big and nice with bars as well.

New mom and pop Vietnamese restaurant in Folsom in a small off the path shopping center. The prices on the menu are still very reasonable. A good variety of food as well. Customer service was great. Bun Bo Hue - Spicy Beef Noodle Soup 4/5 There was definitely a kick in the broth and it's a good serving size. They were out of shrimp paste, but I think with it, the broth would level up. Grilled beef, shrimp and egg roll rice plate (+$2 egg) 4/5 very basic Vietnamese dish but still very yummy. The beef was very tender. Avocado Smoothie 3/5 - I think there was more ice and condensed milk than avocado. I would come back to try other itemsn if in the area, but not sure I would drive out of my way to come back. (They charge 3.5% fee if you use a credit card) Pretty typical these days, but it's not disclosed anywhere nor did they tell us.

The pho broth is tasty and noodle is soft. The staff greet me immediately when I came in. Although, I ordered to go, but the service is good. This place is the same owner as Pho Basil in South Sacramento. I'm happy that we finally had a decent pho place here in Folsom. I will definitely be coming back. Note: they do charge a 3.5% credit card fee and they only make one size (large) for to go order.

Thus cheered, we were seated quickly, even though we arrived without a reservation. Water, bread and menus came quickly. Perusing them to the background mix of contemporary mellow pop (think James Taylor and Van Morrison) and old standards, we decided on the petite prime rib for the carnivore (me) and sea scallops served over risotto for my wife. We each chose flights of wine to accompany our entrees. Despite including three wines per flight, the pours were fairly generous. Our dishes were perfectly prepared and came out more quickly than we expected, considering that the place was almost full. Our server checked back just enough and took care of any special requests promptly, even offering to exchange one of the wines (out of six!) that we didn't like for something better suited to our taste. The pace was leisurely which was fine given the good food and wine accompanied by the relaxed vibe of the live music. And the prices were quite reasonable given the quality of both the food and service. A dark-ish old school atmosphere added to its charm for us Baby Boomers, but even younger diners seemed to be enjoying themselves. As for us, we highly recommend it!

When we first walked in, we were impressed. Cute little conversation nooks with comfy furniture in little corners, a decent wine and beer list, and some appetizers. The menu says all beers are $5 on Thursday all day. We figured it was perfect for what we needed. We settled into a corner that was near the salon, as there was no other seating inside. Did I mention the comfortable furniture? Well, it's a good thing it was comfortable. We sat for nearly an hour, waiting to have our order taken. The first two of us to arrive we're given some water to drink, but myself, and the other straggler were never offered water. During this time we got to experience the...ahem... aroma of the salon next-door. Peroxide and other hair products don't usually lead to an appetite. We decided to wait it out. And wait we did. After nearly an hour, the one employee who appeared to be working today, came to take our order. My friend ordered a glass of wine and she told him that they were out of that one, so he chose another option. I then ordered a beer, and she started to leave the table. Somehow she hadn't seen that there were 4 of us? Friend who had been ignored quickly said , 'and I'LL HAVE ..." to get the server's attention, and then ordered a glass of wine, while our final friend ordered a beer. There was a buffalo cauliflower appetizer on the menu, and we ordered it for the table. The server arrived after a few minutes with one glass of wine, which she sat in front of me, and a beer which she placed in front of my friend. We assumed that she had just mixed up the two of us, so we traded, and I took a sip of my beer. She then came back with another glass of wine. She started to leave and told us to let her know if there was anything else we needed, so we reminded her that we had another beer and an appetizer coming. This is when she told me that the beer that I had ordered was one that they were out of. I held up the one in my hand and said oh, is this not mine? Since we had already waited an hour, my friend just took the beer that I had sipped from, and I waited while she went to get me my new order. When we were nearly done with our drinks, our appetizer finally arrived. It was all we could do to keep from laughing out loud. That was the smallest possible plate with the smallest possible amount of cauliflower on it. A handful, but not an adult handful. Well, maybe Bernadette from Big Bang Theory, but not an average sized adult hand. For four people. You would think she would have told us that it was small and we might want more than one for the table. Honestly, I would've wanted more than one for just myself. To their credit, the cauliflower did taste good. Good thing the salon smells had ruined our appetite. We waited again and finally got our check. They had charged us for one glass of wine, the overpriced $12 handful of cauliflower, and two beers. However, the advertised five dollar happy hour price for the beer was not reflected on the check. She had charged us seven dollars each for the beers. We called this to her attention when we went to the counter to pay, as well as the fact that she had not charged us for one of our glasses of wine. She said "oh yeah. I did that to make up for the beer. We're not doing that anymore. We don't have happy hour on Thursday anymore." It seemed to have escaped her that you can't list something on the menu at a certain price and then charge a different price. Overall, they get one star for comfy couches. We won't be back.
