I used to frequent this place a lot and it was "so so". Tonight I visited and ordered "58. Garlic Noodle With Filet Mignon Steak". Some observations: 1. The menu description is cryptic. One would think that FILET MIGNON would is the best meat available right? Wrong. 2. The "steak" itself is lathered in a teriyaki sauce full of SUGAR. The stuff is extremely unhealthy. I ate as I was very hungry and no regret my mistake as my stomach is bloated from the inflammation caused by the crap food. 3. Service....Young man showed me to my set. Young girl with heavy glasses took my order, brought food, and that was it. On paying, the "automatic tip" is set to 20% for the lowest, and gets higher with the other two quick options presented. Yet during the meal, at no point did any of the Asian servers stop to ask "and how is your food? Do you need anything else?" It's as if they have no social skills! Plenty of silly and horrible tattoos though. I'm at a point were eating out has rapidly become a royal pain because of this exact problem and I will no longer tip. A bit hard to locate as the phone's map app pointed me to the adjacent plaza. The CORRECT one is where Panera is. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but that's good to see businesses busy. The pho is pretty good here. It's not overly salted or MSGed. There's plenty of meat and noodles, so it's satisfying. Everything is fresh. Great Viet spot that I go every so often since it's uber close to work. Everything's always fresh and flavorful. Go to is the grilled shrimp salad that is very filling. Modern interior with authentic yummy dishes! I ordered the pho short rib and it came with two big ribs that were full of flavor. The soup was pretty fatty but it tasted great. My husband got the pho dac biet and it had the same broth flavor as mine, the toppings were pretty standard but they gave us all a decent amount of noodles. This restaurant is located in a plaza with a shared parking lot. It has outside seating if you want to bring your dogs and it also has the traditional indoor seating. We came with the group of friends and we all ordered pho and bun bo hue. I ordered the pho tai nam which is the pho with rare steak and brisket. I thought it was okay and is your typical pho. My friends enjoyed their bun bo hue. Overall, this was a nice experience and a place to check out if you're in the mood for some Vietnamese food. read more

I do think this pho spot is legit! I've tried many spot before and I'd say this was a solid 4! Service was great. Lots of people so be prepared to wait a little if you come during peak hours. It's a little tight inside and I wouldn't recommend to sit outside since there's not a lot of outdoor seating and those waiting to be seated are all standing watching you outside as you eat. A friend of ours recommended us to the Pho N Mor it's a Vietnamese restaurant in Alhambra. Our friend tell is try the popcorn chicken it's really good especially their dipping sauce. We look at the menu then decide to order we order the popcorn chicken then my wife order the Bun noodles with chicken then I order the Pho with chicken. They brought the popcorn chicken first we notice the pieces were big not small or nugget. Popcorn chicken was amazing good crispy and light with the sauce add it more flavor to it. Then they brought the chicken pho and the bun noodles to the table. The broth of chicken pho was full of flavor and incredible good and chicken was cook perfect and could taste the full flavor of the chicken. The noodles were very good. This place is one of our go to pho places during work lunch time. They offer a variety of selections, from pho to vermicelli to broken rice dishes. Each and every selection is tasty and have authentic Vietnamese food flavors. We usually order the pho tai nam (rare steak and well-done beef flank) and bun Bo nuong cha gio (charbroiled beef with egg roll vermicelli) to share. Both are so delicious and the meats are very flavorful. We prefer the beef over the pork for the vermicelli because the of the marinate. Very quick and nice service here. The restaurant temperature was really warm and I started sweating as ate my hot bowl of pho. I got their #20 combination pho which came with beef brisket, eye round wagyu, soft tendon, and tripe. Their broth was flavorful and they gave a good portion for the price. I also tried their summer rolls which was wrapped with grilled pork sausage and veggies. This is one of our best places to go for Vietnamese food in the area. Weekday nights are not too busy and got seated right away. Service was fast and friendly. Price was reasonable. Pho dac biet was flavorful and came with good meat combinations. Pork chop rice is also another good option to try as pork chop was very tender and well marinated. I, 100%, was not expecting to like this place. The name led me to think it catered to the non-Asian palate. But admittedly I was wrong. I ordered the house special with all the goodies. I absolutely enjoyed their pho broth! It was rich with flavor and wasn't overpowering with five spice for my tastebuds. They give ample tendon pieces but I could have used a little more tripe. Im not sure that eye round was actually wagyu as I didn't see the marbling but it was was fresh and tender. Our table also ordered the Cha Gio egg rolls. BIG plus, they were wrapped in the rice paper wrappers vs the Chinese egg roll wrappers. We also ordered summer rolls. They were tasty BUT I think they were premade as parts of the rice paper wrapper was a little dry and dehydrated. It's tough to see the storefront from the street, you need to drive into the strip mall and drive to the back. There's ample parking. First of all, the Pho is amazing. And it's a healthy serving. Now the horrible: They sat me in less than a minute. The waiter came over 2 minutes later and took my order. Five minutes later it was on my table. So far, so good. . Then I notice it was not what I ordered. And I had no setup (chopsticks, napkins, etc.). And no one ever looked at me again. I eventually took a setup from another table. I had to go get someone to tell them my order was wrong. They fixed that in a few minutes. At some point they hurried by and dropped the bill on my table. I put my credit card on it and they ran it through and dropped it back. But in all this, no one ever said a word to me. Although the sauce was good, but the salad was drenched in it and there were very little greens. Might as well as call it "Sautéed Diced Beef with Vegetable". So, customers won't be complaining about the lack of greens and/or the salad soaked with sauce. The Iced Vietnamese Coffee was alright. Service is actually not bad. I've tried to order online, but for some reason, it didn't went through, so I end up ordering in person. The girl cashier was helpful and the guy tried to help while both of them tackle the busyness of the restaurant. Got take out from here a while back. They are located in the shopping plaza across from Costco by the Panera Bread. We found parking pretty easily but I can see how it can be hard to park. I came for lunch at around 12:30, and it was a little busy which was fine. I did get seated immediately and though the food took a little, it was decent. However, the waiter (tall guy, beard, tattoos, and glasses) was so rude. Another convenient pho spot to add to the area! Came in for lunch, not too busy and was seated promptly. Menu is pretty straightforward and offers soups, rice dishes, and drinks. I got the Pho dac biet which is the "combo" pho for $14.50. The soup was good! Not as rich as I like but I asked for a side of nuoc beo (fatty broth) to add to it. 3.5 stars. I've had the pho and the egg rolls here a few times and it was surprisingly good. The egg rolls remind me of the egg rolls at golden deli but at half the size. The pho broth was flavorful and light. Portions are pretty big as I couldn't finish a whole bowl. 4 stars is for the pho and egg rolls. 2 stars for the rice and summer rolls. Today I tried the rice plates and the summer rolls and was very disappointed. Com tam holds a special place in my heart as it is what I consider comfort food. The rice at this place isn't actually fully broken rice. It's mixed with jasmine rice and it makes a huge difference. The egg loaf is meh and very dense. I prefer mine to be light, airy, and fluffy. The bbq pork wasn't bad flavor wise but it had a lot of fatty pieces which I am not a fan of. Also, I found hair in the rice so that just ruined everything. The summer rolls were really bad. The nem nuong tasted really bouncy like spam texture and the crispy shrimp roll inside was super soggy and didn't have that crunch effect. I was also not a fan of their sauce. It was just a terrible and disappointing lunch altogether. Overall, I'd just stick to the pho and egg rolls here.
