20. Pho dac Biet
Shirley M.

I came back after two years because I missed the place. I ordered the pho dac biet like I usually do. I was enjoying my pho until I found a strand of hair on a piece of meat. The server apologized and did not charge me for my meal. The server brought me another bowl of pho dac biet but my appetite diminished after seeing the hair in my food.

Phở tái with one short rib and a garnish plate
Jeremy S.

I decided to try this pho restaurant as I was in the area, and there was no wait on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered phở tái ($13.50) with one short rib ($3.50). The pho came with eye round wagyu steak. It was mostly lean with some fatty parts. The short rib was tender but didn't fall off the bone very easily. I noticed that I finished the noodles rather quickly, but there was plenty of meat. My order came out quickly, and my server checked in on me a few times and refilled water. There's covered parking nearby and many vacant tables available when I went. The ambience was a little quiet with pop music playing in the background.

Crispy eggrolls
Emily J.

I'm sad it's taken me this long to write them a review but I'm a regular! Their fried eggrolls are my go-to. (A+++) They use the paper-thin skin that make the rolls crunch loud in your mouth. I also love the Cajun garlic shrimp noodles (A+) which are quite savory and addicting. I usually add raw garlic to it 'cuz I'm a garlic fanatic. Plenty of parking in the plaza shared with Panera and Sunright Tea. I've never ate inside only to pickup because I'm quite claustrophobic. It's small inside and it's always bumpin' but service seems to be on point because I always get my order on time and correct.

PHO SHORT RIB $17.50
Jeremy L.

8/31/2025 - This is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Alhambra. The PHO SHORT RIB is very good with delicious beef broth. There is a free parking space in front of the restaurant. If it is full, you can park at the next big parking lot for free. There is no WiFi access available inside the restaurant.

No wait today but I've seen people wait for this spot! I came straight from the airport and parking was easy. I got the pho with rare steak and brisket and shrimp spring rolls and my boyfriend is vegan, so he got the vegan spring rolls and vegan pho. Everything was really tasty and fresh. Service was good and everything looked clean. Definitely will come back!

#22- Waygu beef and tendons pho
Grace L.

This is a great spot for pho, especially after a Costco run. There's usually no wait, and the servers are quick and attentive. Today, I ordered #22 -- wagyu beef with soft tendons. The tendons were melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the broth was rich, flavorful, and comforting. I can't say for sure if the beef was truly wagyu, but it was sliced thin and pleasantly easy to chew. Overall, I left happy and satisfied, and I'd definitely come back for another bowl soon.

Spring rolls

Perfect pho for a cold rainy day! They do get busy during lunch time so plan accordingly because you may need to wait a bit to be seated. Service is super quick! I was happy with the portion size I couldn't even finish I had to take it to go. I really enjoyed the house special pho I would definitely want to try more menu items. The flavor was delicious and the meat was tender too.

40. Bun with BBQ
Vera L.

Everything tasted good ! Bun vermicelli noodles with beef- comes with pickles carrots and daikon, mint, bean sprouts, peanuts, with fish sauce. Beef was flavored and not dry, yums! Pho Tai Nam- eye round wagyu and brisket pho broth was very good, they provided a bunch of tender meat Spring rolls- fresh and glad it provided enough peanut sauce for dipping I'd come again to try the other dishes!

20. PHO DAC BIET 23. PHO TAI NAM
Natalie D.

Went to try this place during the rainy weekend and it was a perfect experience. Got sat right away and the workers were really attentive. The shop was tiny but very well decorated and overall a homey vibe. It was pretty busy for being rainy outside. We ordered their most popular pho and it did not disappoint at all! Also provided a bowl with toppings you could add and sauces to customize your pho. The broth was so savory , perfect temperature and very filled. The beef was very tender and there was a lot of it so it was great proportion to the noodles and broth. Overall I really loved it and this will def be my go to pho place in the Eastside!

Pho tai sach
Amy L.

This place is okay. Not my favorite. I got pho tai sach and my meat had a piece of bone in it that hurt my teeth when I bit in.. if I knew there was a chance of getting bone with my pho I would've eaten it more cautiously. I did not like how we have to ask for sauce plates. Also didn't like that we were only 1/3 done and the guy already gave us our bill like he was rushing us. It wasn't even busy.. there was no line and plenty of tables to seat others..

Brisket and rare steak pho
Helen L.

Tried Pho N Mor for the first time and it was delicious. Got the beef pho with brisket and rare beef. The rare beef was a little chewy for my liking but the brisket was perfect. Nice staff, good food, and spacious ambiance.

Everything tasted fresh and delicious! Service was excellent! The staff member who took care of my party was friendly and polite! It was nice and clean on the inside as well! Overall, would visit again!

Fried Vegetarian Egg Rolls

Feeling under the weather and suggested pho to comfort gf. This pho place is located in a plaza that has Mc Donald's and next to Sunlight Tea Studio so parking is limited during peak times Inside is like any other pho place: you wait to be seated and you order. Menu contains appetizers, pho, vermicelli, rice and vegan options. There is a drink menu that has coffee, tea and other drinks as well. Pho comes in one size. Order the pho biet, fried egg rolls, and tea pot. Appetizers didn't come first as it's bring as soon it's ready. Fried egg rolls is lightly fried and it's not too oil nor greasy. The plate comes with fish sauce and it has four huge lettuce and little vermicelli and pickled carrots/radishes to make a wrap. Pho dac Biet contains typical: steak, well done brisket, tendo and tripe. Tea pot is surprisingly good and it's perfect for the cold weather. They accept both cash and card. Recommend on giving this place a try. Keep in they mind that dine-in option close like 30 minutes before closing and will accept only soup togo orders and nothing else

It comes with chilies and fish sauce for you to pour on top. The rice cakes are served warm and are super smooth and soft. The thai chilies it comes with are spicy so don't use too much. The vermicelli with nem nuong and egg rolls comes with a slab of meat and a whole egg roll. The bottom are the noodles and mix of veggie and herbs. The nem nuong is sweetened charbroiled pork that is grilled. Think of a sweet meat ball. The egg rolls are super crispy and filled with meat. The noodles go well with the fish sauce and there are a lot of veggies inside. The nem nuong coun is a spring roll that's wrapped in rice paper. It has the meat and lettuce wrapped inside and comes with a dipping sauce. I believe the sauce is made with ground shrimp. For $8 for 3 rolls it is a steal compared to other restaurants. If you are craving Brodards in OC this place can satisfy your craving. Their che ba mau which is a 3 bean dessert has a lot of beans inside topped with coconut milk and shaved ice. It is the person drink to finish your meal and it is not too sweet.

The spring rolls are large and filled with shrimp and pork, meeting expectations. I'll definitely return.

The Braised Fish did not come with steam rice, so we had to order the steam rice. For the drinks, we had the Peach Oolong Iced Tea and the 3-Colored Dessert. The Bún Bò Huế was very good. This soup is so pungent that the only time I get to savor it is at home and the stink doesn't leave your home for a few days. So, it is to my delight that they offer it here during the weekdays. It is a nicely stacked bowl that has everything but the kitchen sink in it - roast pork belly, catfish, squid, eggplant, and stuffed jalapeno with fried fish cake. Very filling and reasonably priced! The only reason I gave this place a 4 instead of 5 rating is because you can only order certain items from the menu when they open. I wanted to get some Chinese food to-go for my husband, but was told by the server that the other items were only available beginning at 10 am, which is odd to me.
