Takeout - C5 (Com Thit Nuong), B27 (Banh Mi Bo Luc Lac), and Thai tea

Review for delivery only. This is one of our go-to's for Vietnamese delivery when the craving hits - it's always tasty and reasonably priced (even for delivery!). I like to mix it up and order between the pho, rice dishes, or vermicelli bowls, and everything has always been nice and satisfying. I've also tried their Thai tea and it's a bit sweet but a still a treat. I can't speak to the actual in-store restaurant experience, but would recommend for delivery.

Came here with work place associates for lunch. we haven't been here for many years. I think ownership changed. Service was not so great but the food was tasty. Street parking may still difficult to find but still worth coming here.

Unfortunately, I think this will be my last visit to this store. While the food itself is decent and does it in a pinch, the portion sizes for takeout orders are not. I've ordered the beef pho a few times and each time there's only a few pieces of meat in there, which is not the standard that other locations in the area have. Yesterday, since this location is closer than some other Pho options, I decided to just pay extra to make the beef pho an extra large in hopes of at least getting a normal portion. See the picture for what I got. I'll just take the longer drive next time, disappointing.

Came here to try the Sandwich and I gotta say, they put me on to adding Cilantro on sandwiches! It adds an extra tasty crunch! However, I do wish they put more meat into their sandwich. 90% is filler and bread but the flavor packs a punch! That would be my one critique and they give you extra lettuce and cilantro shoots if u want to add more which I did! The pork was tasty with a yummy marinade but very thin and not enough slices. If they gave you thicker slices or more pork this would be 10/10 sandwich! Service is something I can't really say much about since my order was for pick up. But I'll definitely try to sit down and enjoy some Pho if I get the chance. Also, I had their Summer rolls which are fried and come in an order of 5. Soooo good! So much meat/filling that's not just cabbage! These are definitely above Chinese take out Egg rolls. They got solid rolls, I don't think I'll ever get Chinese Egg rolls again! Ambiance reminds me of an old Chinese buffet with the same kind of Decor, very outdated, sort of Dim environment. They need to freshen up the wallpaper or do something to make it more inviting! If they do that it would be a solid 4 stars for me.

Three star for the best. Stale noodle, over cooked shrimp, soup probably is not made from beef, tastes more like hot water with added flavor.. underwhelming environment

The peanut for summer rolls isn't great taste . The spring roll is alright nothing special about it. The beef noodle soup tasty and spicy just too little meats. Place is quiet and simple. Service is great.

Grilled chicken, lemongrass, cucumber, bean sprout over vermicelli.

I decided to visit this place after looking at online reviews and their menu. With a fairly spacious dining area, this establishment offers dine in and take out options. I opted to take out. I asked for the lunch special menu, but was told they do not have one. I visited on 8/5/24. I'm guessing online photos of the menu were much older. So I decided to order the duck. However, the staff person asked if I've ever had it. I said no and she recommend I not order it. I didn't understand this, because if I never try it, I'll never be able to answer yes. Anyway, I took her advice and got the grilled chicken with lemongrass, cucumber and bean sprouts over vermicelli. The portion was big for sure. The dish was not very fragrant. A dressing came on the side. The dish is marked as having peanuts, which it did. It also is noted that it's spicy, which it's not. I tried the chicken and am fairly certain it is boneless thighs. It was flavored very well and tasted fresh from the grill with a little char. The dressing added to this. The dish however was rich in chicken and vermicelli, although the cucumber and bean sprouts were sparse. They forgot to add lemongrass or made the mistake of adding mint. The peanuts were also lacking. It was a disappoinment that the lemongrass chicken had no lemongrass. The dish was tasty, but not what I wanted. Aside from the food, the business has tough to find street parking but ample parking in the rear. They have a sign up that you must spend over $13 to use a credit card. At some point, the cook stepped out of the kitchen and I was glad to see she had a hair net on, but did not have gloves on. She wasn't cooking, so I'm not going to say she never wears gloves. Their chopsticks are very nice, not the cheap ones you normally get. They do need to add more than 1 napkin to your Togo orders.

Located off a busy Wood Avenue in Linden, my colleague and I enjoyed every meal at this family-run establishment. Today, some of us decided to order takeout from Phở Minh via their website for delivery. Their extensive menu featured a wide range of Vietnamese options, including vermicelli, noodle soups, vegetarian dishes, and more, all prepared with the freshest ingredients. We decided to order Gỏi Cuốn Chay (Tofu Summer rolls with lettuce and rice vermicelli) accompanied by peanut sauce, Pho Tom (Shrimp Pho Soup), and Bánh Mì Gà Nướng (Vietnamese Grilled Chicken Sandwich). The summer roll was good, and their peanut sauce had the perfect texture and flavor. The pho's broth and noodle texture were delicious and went so well in cold weather. As a first-timer, the banh mi sandwich, although simple-looking, was also delicious and both tender and juicy with the pickled veggies. The bread had a nice crunch on the outside. To my surprise, it also contained slices of jalapeño, which weren't listed, and I took those off. Food arrived at the desired time for noon if one lives or works near them. Prices were reasonable, and portion sizes were relatively good. We were satisfied with the outcome of the delivery and will continue to recommend this place.

I've gotten their drinks here many times and they always come out fresh and cool, perfect for a summer day. I bring my friends here all the time and we always appreciate the kind service as well as a calm and comforting environment. Definitely recommend the Thai milk tea over the Green Tea though. Cheers!

Came in around 5:30 on a Tuesday evening - we were the only customers. But soon after, the dinner rush started trickling in. Seems to be a local favorite - good prices, big servings, hearty pho for the breezy fall weather. Staff is kind, food comes out quick. Share the extra big bowl of pho with my friend. Summer rolls were great. Vietnamese rolls were flavorful. I'd definitely eat here again.

Garden rolls with shrimp

I just ordered lunch from here and I already know I'm going back for dinner! In town for a couple of days and of course I searched for a Vietnamese restaurant, as it's my favorite cuisine. I placed an order through their website online which was very easy to do. Got a small spring roll and they gave me four small rolls which is what you would pay for two in the DC area so such a great value. Did I mention they were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious?!?!?! Also ordered garden rolls with shrimp and they were perfect, too; stuffed full of quality ingredients. Also got a coconut bubble tea which was amazing; not too sweet and very flavorful. Getting pho and vermicelli noodles for dinner for sure!

Inside, the decor is beautiful and polished with Vietnamese straw hats and taxi bikes. There's plenty of tables and only few customers. We were quickly greeted by two staff by the door and got seated with menus. I noticed the karaoke stand and stage, but there was no one singing at the time so they must have karaoke on certain occasions or time. We looked at the menu and it looked pretty impressive. When we were ready to order, no staff are around. Five minutes later, our waitress showed up and took our orders. For appetizers, we had the mini crepes and my entree, vermicelli special which included grilled pork and shrimps and a spring roll. The crepes were a bit undercooked and it's not as crispy as it should be. I was also a bit disappointed with my entree. The vermicelli noodles were overcooked so the noodles were broken into smaller strands. The fish sauce was pretty bland. I really wanted to like this place but sadly it was a letdown. I would rate this really 2.5 stars but our waitress was nice so feeling generous here with 3 stars. I'm not sure if we will ever come back. My husband was also disappointed with his entree. We have our fair share of Vietnamese food so we know good authentic cooks when we try a dish. I guess it was also a tale tell sign when the restaurant didn't have much customers on Valentine's Day.

Here in Regal Plaza, you will find Vietnamese cuisine. For all the times I came to the plaza, I…read morealways wanted to go there as a final stop. Considering another eatery, I discovered that it was temporarily closed, which led me to go this eatery instead. Brand: 4/5 Vietnam Bistro is a Vietnamese restaurant in Regal Plaza in Howell Township. I like how the brand maintains a form easy to understand, from the name to the logo showing a bowl of food with chopsticks. The sign outside is itself simple in design albeit inconsistent, since the font does not match the one on the logo. You will also find lots of artwork decorating the walls and plastic plants. Website: 4/5 Vietnam Bistro immediately invites you to their website with the opening of B-Roll footage of food on sticks prepared on a grill. While you do have access to the menu, only a few of the items have images. Pertaining to the overall design of the website, it makes use of images and B-Roll footage with good placement, giving the entire website a good presentation with every scroll. Wait Time: 5/5 I experienced no issues or delays, as I received the beverage and the meal quickly. Ambiance: 4/5 You will hear Vietnamese pop playing throughout the establishment with a soothing volume. While the tables did have a small size, they make up for it by including containers filled with eating utensils with Vietnamese terms on it, which I found quite fascinating. Plenty of space exists separating the tables, and the establishment had a large capacity to accommodate many people. The seats felt slightly comfortable. The menu selection offers you a glimpse into authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Food: 5/5 I ordered the BánhMì Thịt Nướng with grilled pork packed between two buns, with Thai Tea. The crunchy baguette held its form as the grilled pork became the most prominent flavor. The flavor of the well-cooked pork especially came out with the addition of barbecue sauce. The vegetables, especially the cucumbers, gave it a balanced taste. The Thai Tea had a robust, tangy flavor. This entire course brought me into a pleasant mood, for not only did I get to try my first Vietnamese meal, but the tea especially gave me a decent experience that lasted throughout the day. The wait time it took to cook the meal matched the quality perfectly, and I can clearly see how they would feature on the website as a menu item. The service puts care into their menu items, and they keep within the spirit of Vietnamese cuisine. Service: 5/5 The staff made sure that I had a well-attended experience. I do not know if he was the owner, but he ensured that I knew what I wanted by offering me not just the menu but also a tablet showing the images of the items. Although they had a randomized order, I can definitely understand that a non-Vietnamese American like myself would probably not know much about Vietnamese cuisine. It is also a sign of a technologically aware establishment. Based on my first impressions, I will say that the service matches the quality of the brand, and they care about the food for the website does not lie when it claims it serves food with "love and care." The service ensured that I received my order quickly, even by piecemeal with the Thai Tea first and the Banh Mi second. Nothing about the ambiance tried my patience as I awaited my order. Cost: 4/5 Taking into consideration every aspect of this business, I will say that everything seemed to coalesce perfectly. As far personal suggestions, I would like to see more images of the menu items on that tablet and on that website. For such a simple yet effective logo, I would like to see it reflected on the sign outside. I would say that I would have given the cost three stars, the fact that I had a good first impression on Vietnamese cuisine means that it piqued my curiosity to the point I would want to come back in the future. With all that being said, I will say that the price of the Banh Mi and the Thai Tea was ultimately worth it. Rating: 5/5 Stars I can see how this Vietnamese restaurant would continue to represent Regal Plaza. Coming to Vietnam Bistro, I would consider it a first option for lunch or dinner. With the brand, you know what you are getting yourself into; and with the service, you will never feel lost. I wish more ethnic-themed restaurants would have as much accommodations when it comes to their menu items as Vietnam Bistro. Recommend To... Everyone must try the Saigon special sandwich. I'm a foodie and a picky eater, I can tell from the ingredients of the sandwich that this restaurant genuinely demonstrates craftsmanship in how they prepare their food! Saigon special sandwich is the MUST ORDER! I highly recommend it! The curry beef over rice(I forgot the name) was great as well. Parking can be a bit tricky given its location near a major road, but there is metered parking right out front. One thing I really appreciated was the thoughtful packaging. Instead of wrapping everything in paper/foil (which traps steam and softens the bread), they use takeaway containers that keep the banh mi bread crispy and intact. The portions are generous! I don't think I've ever had a bahn mi with so much protein! I personally asked for extra cilantro on some of the sandwiches which is why the cilantro looks so obnoxious in the pictures. Everything was solid and satisfying! The lemongrass chicken bahn mi stood out with its aromatic flavor. The Saigon special bahn mi though, could've used a bit more presence from the mayo and pate to enhance the flavors. Sounds weird, but surprisingly, the sardines in tomato sauce bahn mi was better than it sounds. It was savory and definitely worth trying if you're feeling adventurous. The summer rolls were fresh, clean, and a great complement to the sandwiches. My only note: I wish the pickled carrots and radish had a bit more tang. They leaned mild rather than punchy. Overall, a reliable spot with thoughtful touches and flavorful options. I'd come back again.
