Food is probably the best I've found in the Edison/colonia area. A bit pricey but not crazy. I don't like ordering online because it forces you to add a tip(minimum $3) even if you are driving 8 miles to pick up your food. That's not a good practice for your customers. I live in Edison, but I was in the area of Clark and decided to try this restaurant for the first time I ordered a large rack of ribs which cost me over$16 and all I got was end pieces that's no longer or wider than my middle finger... I called the restaurant back to mention that it was a lot and mostly end pieces with barely meat on it....she claims that that's the way it comes, I got so mad. I actually went to a different restaurant and order another rack of ribs and this other restaurant actually has various sizes including the middle of the rack of ribs and it was cheaper than wok and roll... to be honest I felt like I wasted $16 at wok and roll... I've ordered take out from here several times. My order was on average $15-20. Typically I get the General Tsos Dinner combo with white rice to keep it simple and sweet and maybe an order of dumplings. I actually decided to order the rangoons one day and I didn't regret it either! The food is actually a little above average compared to other places and the lady working the front desk is pretty friendly and polite. The food is always organized in the bag neatly, which is a huge thing for me especially since I have to drive with it. The last thing I need is hitting a bump and dumplings being dumped all over the floor lol. The only cons I didn't like per say about the food was that when I order from a fast food place an hour in advance and say what time I'm going to pick it up, one should expect that when they walk in their food is ready not the dumplings still having need to be prepped or my entree still being cooked. Secondly, the general Tso wasn't that bad but I've had better solely due to the fact there should be some sort of spice in the sauce they use but for some reason time and time again the General Tso always comes out sweeter than spicier. Lastly, the rice. I don't in any way think of myself at a professional rice enthusiast or anything along those lines but I love food and I've had plenty of it. Whenever you order from a Chinese place the rice typically is known to be sticky or have the consistency of sticking together. For some reason here whatever the rice they're using just seems really dry and extremely loose. Also, it tastes like rice that has been aired out before it was cooked. So if you're looking for a typical Chinese night and want to try this place go for it you won't be disappointed with the quality of food overall. By far one of the best Chinese food in town! the people are so friendly and it's quite a clean place! This is my family's favorite Chinese place for takeout in Edison. It is a quick drive and the food is always ready in about 10-15 mins. They have great lunch specials, so take advantage of that. The lunch servings are just right, but I personally usually have some leftovers. The lunch special comes with your choice of soup or egg roll. It's finally open!!!! A lot of people waited for more than 6 months for this place to open and it was the longest months ever. i was honestly so sad to hear that they had to close down at their previous location (almost cried, not gonna lie) but then i found out they found a new place 10mins away from my place. It was the best news i've ever heard! I went for the grand reopening today and the taste of the foods is still amazingly the same like before and CHEAP! My favorites are their fried tofu in garlic white sauce (spicy), spicy indonesian noodle soup with fried egg on top (that's right! a fried egg, TRY IT!) and their fried rice is just WOW... All the dishes made by the chef are just great and i was told that they don't use MSG! Thats why the taste is different than any other chinese restaurants. You may think i'm overexaggerating but the people who goes here will definitely agree with me about how good the foods are here. And you're probably thinking, it's just typical chinese food, but it's not. You can ask to customize/add how ever you like. They may charge $1 extra, depends on what you're requesting. Most of their customers are VERY loyal and have made a close relationship to these owners (chinese couple) cause they are such nice people. They have a young daughter name Leah and you will see her sitting around the Restaurant doing her own thing, sometimes she will help out her parents,or she will just walk around and talk to you if you're friendly. The service here is excellent! Joanne, the owner, who handles the counter is the most nicest person ever. I never see her act rude to customers, even when it gets so overwhelmingly busy at the restaurant. She is so patient, friendly and caring, thats why she has so many loyal customers. The chef, which is her husband, is the only person who cooks. Both of them are so good at what they do and I applaud these couple for running such a great restaurant. At the previous location, i used to go eat at least 2x a week. But now that they're closer to where i live and work, i will be coming here for lunch time and dinner on a daily. lol You've got to try this place out! MUST!!!! read more

I liked this place when it was in the deserted mall, and I like it now that it took over Saga Wok's spot in Edison. Dumplings were perfect dough to meat ratio, and I loved the dipping sauce. Scallion pancakes were a little oily, but a quick toast and they were perfect. Veg lo mein was great, and the spare ribs were nice and meaty. The only reason I'm at a 4 and not a 5 is the crab rangoon. They are done money bag style, but the bag just didn't have enough filling, and there was way too much wrapper.
