50 Vegan rice plate with lemongrass tofu
Sydney J.

I ordered #50, the vegan rice plate- lemongrass tofu, stir fried vegetables and veggie fried tofu over steam rice. The tofu is fried and crispy. The veggie fried rolls were fine. The sauce is nice, pretty strong. There was a little salad with pickled carrot slices. I liked that part of the rice had a crispy shell. There was a decent amount of lemongrass flavor and I didn't find it too spicy, so I liked it overall and thought it was a solid vegetarian option. The other person in my party got the #44, bun cha gio thit nuong or ga nuong (grilled pork or grilled chicken), egg rolls, and salad with vermicelli; they opted for the grilled pork option and also felt it was pretty good.

My veggie rice plate was good, but I wish it had more veggies. Also, on the menu, the vegetarian option is limited. The best part of the meal was the pickled veggies, so yummy. The server was friendly and attentive.

Good standard pho with healthy portions. We ordered the typical Pho, and it was good. The portions were good overall, and they gave us a good amount of meat. No complaints!

Came here during a work day for lunch. We were a bit early for lunch time so were able to find a table easily. Finding parking on the other hand can be difficult in the plaza. The restaurant has a welcoming decor. Service is fast and the servers are friendly. I went with the Noodle plate (#42 on the menu). The chicken and shrimp were both very tasty and perfectly seasoned. The portions are generous for the price. I can see myself coming back here for lunch.

Garlic Egg Noodles

Came in on a weekday for dinner and they were not busy. The menu has lots of options; I went for the garlic egg noodles with grilled chicken and the dish was quite tasty! It had a really good flavor and a generous portion of chicken. I did wish the ratio of noodles to chicken was a little higher since I ended up taking home a few pieces of leftover chicken, but overall I was satisfied with the meal! We also ordered the pork egg rolls as an appetizer which were pretty standard and yummy as well. Service was friendly, though not super attentive during the meal, but that isn't really a big deal to me. You pay afterwards at the front, and I think they have a credit/debit card charge (vs. no extra charge with cash).

I went at around 11am on a Sunday, and the place was almost empty. The restaurant has plenty of seating, and a casual vibe with some Asian decor. The menu has vegetarian options and quite a large selection to choose from in general. The tables were clean, and our server was quick to take our order, but she mostly left us along for far too long after delivering our food and my party decided to head to the register ask for more utensils, and to pay, since she never came back. I got a passion fruit drink, which was very fresh and I loved the seeds included in it. The beef combo was not as hot as I would have liked when it arrived, and a tad bland. But that's what all the condiments and toppings are for, right? My friend got a chicken dish and egg noodles, which they enjoyed. I also got a tip from one of the staff that you could up-size your order of pho and split, since the portions are pretty generous.

The Bay Area has no shortage of yummy pho places, and this happens to be my favorite! I always prefer egg noodle over rice noodle, which this place offers. We also love their fried lemongrass tofu. When I'm not feeling soup, I usually order that with a side of rice. Although tucked away in an unassuming spot, the interior is spacious, clean and homey. It shares a parking lot with a neighboring market though, so parking can be a challenge sometimes. Service is great when it's not busy... but when it is, it can be a little slow, which is expected. But the food always comes out quick and fresh.

Just a truly satisfying bowl of pho. Then, throw in tasty appetizers, good company, and it's a great time! That was our experience this past Sunday. Meet up with family to enjoy some good Vietnamese food. We decided on Pho Lovers for their variety in pho and the pho hit the spot. The broth was well made, the meats and noodle ratios were on point, the garnishes fed well into the soup. It was just an overall, excellent bowl of pho. We also added an appetizer, good, and spring rolls, also good. Service was very nice and attentive. You pay up front. Using a credit card will incur a 3.5% charge. Parking can be challenging and limited in the private lot, but I think if all else fails, you should be able to find street parking. I'd come back!

Large portions with good flavor broth. No frills restaurant to have good pho noodle soup. Minimal wait time.

Ask the Community - Pho Lovers

Do they deliver at the moment? And if so, do we have to call to put in the order? What's the delivery fee?

You can use Doordash to order delivery. They're available on Doordash now. You also can call to order and pick up.

Tried calling in this Shelter in Place order but no one picked up. Are they open for take out?

They are opening. I think from 11 AM to 8 PM for take out only. If you want to be delivered, you can do it by Doordash.

Where can you park? I see the restaurant can seat a few dozen people but there's only 5 parking spots designated for the restaurant. All the other parking is reserved for the grocery store next door under threat of towing.

I parked at the grocery store - shopped for five minutes supporting that shop and then moved my car to a spot that opened up for the Pho restaurant nextdoor.

Does the vegetarian Pho have msg?

No none of the Phos have MSG if you ask for it!!

The pate chaud is a little smaller than other locations, but it's good quality and flaky, not too oily. The banh mi dac biet had a soft, yet crispy roll, plenty of cold cuts, and a nice amount of pate spread. The veggies were a little on the lower quantity, but it was fresh. The double spam masubi was warm and delicious, absolutely worth the extra up charge for two slices of spam. The gentleman taking our order was friendly and helpful for new customers. He spoke English and Vietnamese, which is a plus for those wanting to work on their Vietnamese food ordering skills. The restaurant had plenty of free parking, and a few small tables if you decide to eat onsite. Recommend order to go because it's cramped inside. The smell of fresh food to-go definitely helped me order more food than I was intending to - great ambience. Highly recommend if you need a quality banh mi without long waits.

The…read morechicken was super flavorful, tender, and tasted freshly grilled with a nice smoky char on the edges. The rice paired perfectly with it, and I loved all the little sides that came with the plate. The pickled vegetables added a refreshing crunch, and the soup broth was surprisingly one of my favorite parts of the meal -- light but packed with rich flavor that felt really comforting and homemade. The egg coffee was also amazing. It was incredibly creamy, smooth, and almost dessert-like without being overly sweet. The thick egg foam on top blended so well with the coffee and made every sip really satisfying. Definitely something I'd come back for again. On top of the food, the staff were all very kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout the meal. Service was quick, and the restaurant had a really clean and relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to enjoy everything. Overall, a really great experience with fresh, flavorful food and excellent service. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu!

But from the looks of the dish, not much meat on the plate. 3.5/5 GRILLED PORK & PORK EGG ROLL VERMICELLI ~ This is my go-to dish when I'm eating Vietnamese. The pork wasn't really salty or as flavorful as I had expected. Pretty average compared to other eateries with the same dish. I forgot to tell them not to include raw bean sprouts, so when I put the sprouts aside, it filled 1/4 of my bowl. 3.5/5 COMBINATION BEEF PHO ~ My guy ordered this and said the broth was bland compared to other Vietnamese eateries. Not much in the bowl. He went home and made a sandwich. 3/5 HALF HAINANESE CHICKEN AND CHICKEN RICE ~ Our friend ordered this dish; he left more than 1/2 of the chicken on his plate. He said it was dry, and the skin wasn't at all crispy because they didn't blanch it in ice water to give that crispy texture for Hainanese Chicken. The rice wasn't flavorful either. He left dissatisfied and hungry. 2/5 PANDAN WAFFLES ~ comp dessert after our meal. This was lightly sweetened, crispy, and chewy. Actually very good. 4/5 Hit or miss with some of the dishes, though it seemed more misses than hits. I was told the San Jose location is better. But I've tried both and wasn't impressed with either location. The only item we liked was the complimentary dessert!
