Great local mom and pop authentic pho. Broth made from real bones and flavorful, consistently delicious. We hope this restaurant does well as we don't have many real homemade pho places nearby.

#5. Rare Filet Mignon Steak, Well Done Flank Noodle Soup

When it's cold, you already know it's soup time! Weekday dinner is not busy, no line which was awesome since it's been cold. The restaurant has about 10 tables. Ordered #5. Rare Filet Mignon Steak, Well Done Flank Noodle Soup ($15.95). I noticed right away that the soup is a bit sweeter than other pho I've had. The soup flavor was good, I think it is sweet from Star anise and cinnamon possibly. Plenty of tender meat too for all the scrumptious bites. The noodles had great chew too which I prefer. I think one thing to consider is having a two sizes for pho. Overall, tiny store with great pho and will be back for more pho and sugar cane drink!

Disappointed: The meat on top of the beef bone had already been cut off when it was served; only the meat on the two sides remained

Overall, the dishes look fine, but the food and taste are below average and the service is average. The restaurant is not big and good for small groups. 10% off if you pay cash. My bill was around $70 including tax and tips.

I passed by remembering a friend mentioning this place so I wanted to give it a try. The staff were very welcoming, service was fast and attentive, and the food was honestly amazing. The pho was rich, flavorful and tasted fresh. I'd definitely come back. Thank you for a wonderful meal

I've been looking for a place that has sizzling plate on the menu!! Pho Lovers is located in Dublin's Ulferts Center where I believe Yakitori used to be. I think weekday lunch is the best time to go as there was no wait! Sizzling Caramelized Pork & Rice Combo ($16.95): Ugh this was so good. Craving satisfied! A spoonful of crispy pork, pâté, runny egg, green onions and rice just hits the spot. Maybe a dribble of sriracha. I'm salivating again. The side salad it came with had a nice dressing, and the pho broth was bomb.com. Really good value! C10 Green Tea with Egg Crème ($5.50): Also good value because the cup is very tall/large lol. I'm pretty sure the green tea is matcha! My sister ordered the #1 Special Pho, and she said the meat was really tender. My sample of broth made me want to try the pho next time!

Decided to check out Pho Lovers in Dublin to try their Banh Mi Chao and was curious to see how a Tri-Valley Vietnamese spot would measure up. We both ordered the Banh Mi Chao, one with caramelized pork and one with beef ribs. The dishes were pretty good overall. However, I did find them to be a little on the oily side. As expected for the area, the prices were definitely higher than what you would find for a similar dish in San Jose, but for Dublin, it's a solid option. While it wasn't the best Banh Mi Chao I've ever had, it was a good meal and a welcome addition to the local food scene. If you're in the area and craving Vietnamese, it's a good option.

Small little restaurant with maybe 8 tables. Parking can be tough during lunch hours since it's in a busy plaza. On the table: Sizzling pan beef ribs: 3.5/5 ribs were a bit tough still and no flavor besides the grilled onions on top. Comes with two over easy eggs, salad, and soup. You can choose rice or a baguette. Soup is too oily for my pallette. Banh mi bo lac: 3/5 banh mi was mid and could have had more pate and butter. Meat was flavorful but overall is was a bit dry. Nuoc mia: 4/5 definitely refreshing and not overly sweet but I could barely taste the sugarcane. I do like that they used crushed ice. Coconut coffee: 3.75/5 Coconut cream overpowered the coffee a bit. I prefer my Vietnamese coffee to be a bit more on the bitter side. Overall decent spot for Vietnamese noms and you get a small discount for paying with cash.

Good restaurant but probably better to eat there - pho: get the wok seared one, you won't regret the depth of flavor and how clean the broth it - salted coffee perfect and not overly sweet Giving 3 stars to the banh mi sandwich. Ordered 2 of the beef ones. As a to go order these should be wrapped in sandwich paper, by the time we picked it up the bread was soggy and chewy. Also the filling was disappointing. One had lots of meat and veggies were ok but it needs some salt. The other one barely had any meat. Strange it wasn't consistent. I still will come for the pho but I probably will skip on the sandwiches next time.

*LOCATION* This cute little restaurant is located in Ulferts Center. It shares the same parking lot as many other restaurants and Bank of America. I'd suggest parking on the back side because it's easier to find a spot during peak times. *WAIT TIME* My friend and I had a dinner date a few Fridays ago ~6:30pm. There was no wait as only a few tablets were occupied. *FOOD* We opted for the classic pho and it did not disappoint! The broth tasted flavorful but seemed sweeter than other places I've tried. They were generous with the meat portions and I ended up having to pack leftovers to take home. I'd definitely want to come back to try some of the other interesting menu items! *SERVICE* Our waiter was friendly and brought us our waters shortly after we were seated. She also came by several times to check on us while we were being indecisive with what to order :) *AMBIENCE* The interior was modern, well-lit and clean. All good vibes!

S4. Sizzling Beef Ribs & Baguette Combo 10/25/25

After we finished our massage, we saw this place. The menu items were very attractive. We both ordered the beef ribs and eggs combo. Overall, the food was slightly sweet. I don't know why; maybe it was the ingredients. The customer service is great, and the food portion is very generous. :)

This place is generous with pho. We ordered #1&#2. Both equally good. We will be back. The decor is simple and clean. Service is standard pho place. There are plenty of options on the menu for trying other items. Good support local.

    S3 and pho tai

Pho Lovers doesn't have the best Feng Shui--its location is tucked away, and the sign is barely visible from the parking lot. But if the wind hits just right, you'll catch a whiff of that scrumptious broth, infused with star anise and cloves, guiding you to their door like a moth to a flame. The pho tai was delicious. It had a nice glorious shimmer from the MSG (makes shit good) and unlike other pho places, there is only one size. It is on the smaller side, but the broth was really flavorful and the beef was super tender. That said, the highlight was the "pho dip" brunch experience. It's called Banh Mi Chao aka "baguette with combo sizzling pan" that comes with sizzling meat with eggs, a little scoop of pate, a side salad, and a bowl of pho broth. Never seen this before, but this was "pho" sho' why I loved Pho Lovers. Pho sizzle. The wife and I went with the S3 (slice filet milon steak) because it looked easier to eat than the S4 (beef rib) which felt more like food for the 'gram with the bone sticking out. The baguette was fresh. The eggs were perfectly cooked sunny side up with a garlic butter soy sauce. The filet mignon was well done but real tender. We ripped off pieces of baguette, stuffed in some meat, added some radish from the side salad and then dipped it in the egg yolk. Swallowed and repeated again and again. "Chao" downed. If Pho Lovers would have been like all the other Vietnamese restaurants that have numbers, I think they could have been Pho Lovers 143... or Pho Lovers 69 because I loved every bite. Looking at all the reviews, we need to come back for the oxtail pho and banh mi. Despite being hidden, lunch service was packed on the weekend, and deservedly so. So it's interesting, in the Bay Area there are two Pho Lovers. WT-Pho? The other one is in Sunnyvale. Despite the same name, they seem to be different owners based on their logos and menus. Then again, who doesn't love pho? Said nobody ever.

The portions were pretty generous. -grapefruit tea: thought it was pretty yummy! I also tried out the super fruit tea and i really liked it but personally found it to be a little too sweet. Not too much to displease though! I mixed some water and it was perfect for me. -tomato beef brisket noodle soup: i was surprised by how tender the meat was and how much they actually give you. The lamb skewers were a bit smaller than expected but were flavorful with a fragrant aroma. The takoyaki came in about 5 balls and while they didn't include all typical takoyaki toppings it was still pretty good considering it came as a combo! Overall, i really loved coming by this place, my main concern is that it's actually in a pretty busy plaza so parking can be a little difficult during peak business hours. Otherwise it's located in a really great area relatively close to some shopping areas such as the Livermore outlets or even other smaller shopping plazas. Give this place a try if you're in the area and looking for a good eat without breaking the wallet!

We ordered the egg tofu with veggies, beef brisket, ham and egg fried rice, and the chicken with Chinese sausage clay pot. The beef brisket was the clear winner -- tender, flavorful, and they give you a generous portion. No tiny rationed pieces hiding in sauce. The overall flavor profile was balanced and comforting without feeling overloaded with MSG. The egg tofu was light and nicely seasoned, and the fried rice delivered that classic Hong Kong café vibe. The clay pot had great flavor too, though I personally prefer larger pieces of chicken with less bone. Just a texture preference -- seasoning was on point. One drawback during the summer: there were quite a few flies while we were dining. The doors were closed, so it was a bit puzzling and definitely distracting.
