Pho Lovers 3 might be my favorite pho spot in the OC! The broth is spot on! The first taste of noodles, stretched to get a "kiss of heaven" (learned this from a you tube video) never disappoints! On a whim I got the XL combo bowl. It was literally 2-3 sizes bigger than my head. The bowl was loaded with all kinds of assorted meats! I also ordered the side of bone & tendon. WOW what a treat! That side dish of bones and tendon was generous and there was a lot of meat on the plate. We also got the fried egg rolls. Wow. It was packed with flavor and served with lettuce and mint. Delicious. Others at the table got the ox tail pho and the smaller sized pho. We were all super happy. For drinks we got the honeydew slushie, salted lime drink and the Jasmine tea. All refreshing. Portions are generous. The items are top quality. The taste is authentic and scrumptious. I also loved the customer service here. Bi, Peter and the crew were amazing with customer service. The food came out quickly. They cheeked on the table multiple times. They never stopped moving - they were either helping customers or they were cleaning the restaurant. This place is a gem of a find! Not only is the food amazing with tons of protein for each order, but the service is also amazing. I highly recommend getting the $6 beef ribs, man I have no idea how this place makes money because I can't even buy the beef ribs for six dollars at the supermarket. Fast and friendly service here and parking has never been an issue. We've been here at least three times and it's always been a great experience. Their staff is efficient so we've never had to wait even on the weekends. The space is large and baby friendly so it's a great place for families. Came here after an event nearby and was very pleasantly surprised. My husband and I got the egg rolls and spring roll appetizers, beef pho and the lemongrass beef vermicelli bowl. Everything we ate was so good and the portion sizes were huge. We realized we hadn't gotten our egg rolls when we came to the end of our meal and they apologized and brought them out in a to-go box which was fine because we wouldn't have been able to eat them right then. This place will always be my go-to place for pho that is NOT down in Bolsa/Little Saigon area. Because it's right off the 405 fwy and Warner exit, I love that I can avoid all the other drivers and traffic that one usually comes across down in Little Saigon. The place is big, very clean, modern looking, and has a great new menu of so many different dishes to accommodate all taste buds if you're not in the mood for just pho. The Maine lobster food truck in Huntington Beach he's been on a quest to try (last week it got canceled) was nowhere to be found during the time we went tonight. It's 19:00. Hungry and frustrated, he got short and irritable. Going home to cook wasn't an option. We pivoted to BBQ only to discover they had just closed. By then he was angry. Which, of course, made ME angry. We agree on Vietnamese food, because Pho Lovers closes Saturdays at 21:00. No rush. On the drive there, he apologized for his burst, and I told him his previous girlfriends simply didn't know how to handle him because they didn't know what I know. I actually never been to any of the pho lovers but I wanted to try this one while passing by. It's hard to find good pho in Huntington Beach area. We got seated immediately and were served by Bi. Super nice and he made a lot of suggestions because this was our first time here. The menu itself was very extensive for a pho place. The place itself is super clean and modern. I love the plates in the background near the cash register. Such art. Has appetizers the garlic fries which were amazing!!!! Great crunch to it. And popcorn chicken. It has basil and everything. The first thing you notice when you walk into Pho Lover's is how clean and spacious it is. Bi was our server. He was super friendly and very professional. Not only was his service excellent, but he suggestion some new (to us) ways to enjoy Vietnamese food. I've come here a few times over the last 2 years and there has been an improvement in overall broth depth of flavor. The spacious, modern interiors definitely accommodate large groups. The pretty menu has to reflect inflation by the taped price changes. Our parties of 6 and 10 for each of the times visited - ordered mostly pho tai chin, bo viên, and ga with the leg quarters, all fat noodle option. I loved that they filled the herb and sprout dishes with cilantro stalks and herbs you find in canh chua. My bowl had plenty of tai and chin, although they could've been cut down to more bite-size pieces.
