I moved back into the area, and was pleasantly surprised that this establishment is still amazing-if not, improved. I had a bit of a break up with pho. Over the years, I've been more of a hu tieu kind of person, but coming here and having their broth has reinvigorated my love of pho. My wife and I enjoy this place immensely. Stopped by pho247 on a Sunday morning while dealing with a bit of a hangover and craving some pho. It popped up as a new spot near me off Goldenwest, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I got there around 11:15 AM and saw a few people waiting outside even though it said they were open. As I walked up, they finally opened the door and let everyone in -- looked like they were just getting the place started for the day. They seated me right away. It was a little warm and humid at first since the AC wasn't on yet, but they turned it on pretty quickly once they handed me the menu. Menu looked solid with a good amount of options. I ordered their combo bowl and a Vietnamese coffee. The coffee was great -- not too sweet, which I liked. The pho itself was decent. Not the best I've had, not the worst, especially for the area. I'd give the pho a 7.7/10. Still hit the spot for a hangover though. When I went up to pay, I'm pretty sure it was the owner who rang me up. She was really friendly and told me to come back if I'm local. The menu has a lot of other dishes I want to try, especially their vermicelli with egg rolls. Overall, pretty solid place. This spot is easy to drop in and out, plenty of seating. You also get your food really fast. We ordered egg rolls which were 3.5/5. Reliable, good, and crispy. I ordered the pho tai and Bo vien with the vinegar onions on the side. Vinegar onions were 5/5, they weren't just raw onions with some vinegar put on top. As for the pho, i would describe it as homemade pho. It tastes exactly like something from home, which isn't a bad thing. So the pho here is also reliable, and good. I'd give it a 4/5. read more

This is my favorite place to have this dish. It has always tasted the same no matter what time we go in to get it. It's never real sweet and it's never sour. It comes with plenty of vegetables and rice. It's one of my favorite dishes. The service was excellent. They take real good care of you. The place is nice and clean and everyone is friendly. I can't say enough about this dish because it is one of the best ones I've ever had. And I've had them from Vietnam and all the way across the United States. Service was the typical subpar for a Vietnamese restaurant. Forgot our waters and we had to ask for spoons for our rice dishes. The only person who seemed to be hustling and providing proper service was possibly the owner. The only thing they got right with the Bun Bo Hue were the noodles. The broth lacked the right hearty spicy flavor and included fatty brisket and tendon instead of beef shank and pork blood. They should have called it Bun Bo Hue flavored pho. The Bo Luc Lac was good but not good enough for my son to finish every bite and lick his plate like he usually does. We were so excited to try this place. Pho is one of my favorites & they had good reviews here so we decided to dine in. It was pretty slow when we got there, but the space was clean so we felt safe. They handed us menus that said "Pho Ha" so I was a little confused. But it's no biggie so whatever. Just be aware that the name on your menu will not match the name at the front of the restaurant & that the prices are handwritten on white out. Also they have a few other options that aren't on the menu but are on the TV screen. Just keep watching it, their thing is a little slow so you have to be patient. Anyway. Ordered combination fried rice, seafood pho & oxtail pho. Food came quickly & service was okay. The fried rice was good so I was excited to eat my pho. Alas, it was just a'ight. The broth was bland. If it's good I will drink all of it but I couldn't do it. Whatever I did drink was with the noodles I ate. They gave me one piece of meat and a tiny bone with nothing on it. The meat was hard and I couldn't cut it off the bone with the scissors AND the steak knife they brought. I couldn't even chew it. You know how some places have meat that you chew and chew like bubble gum? Well this place was like tree bark. Like chewing and chewing tree bark that doesn't get soft. Even after 10 minutes of working it between your back teeth. I spit a lot of it out in ny napkins 'cuz it wasn't working with me. Hubby's seafood broth was flavorless. Kind of like digging for noodles and squid thats is swimming around in slightly warm water. Thai tea was good but if you are like me & really really like boba, order their Thai tea without it. I don't know what those balls are at the bottom of the glass but it's not boba. Okay? Trust me. Not bad but not enough to make me want to eat more. Sadness but that's how it is. read more

Came here during a rainy Sunday to avoid my newly straightened hair from getting wet. Doors left ajar. Waitress said to just sit anywhere. Not very busy, had two or three tables occupied. Flies and gnats unfortunately were able to come inside because both doors had been left open/ ajar. Ordered #44, big portion, and arrived quickly. The food was okay, Nothing remarkable, perhaps Pho would of been a better choice. A lot of vegetables, salad mixed with the Filet Mignon; however not crisp and not properly tossed. Completely forgettable. Service was decent, waitress seemed nice enough and attentive. Unfortunately, a lot of items on the menu have been erased with white out to reflect the new prices, and a lot of the dessert items were not available. Prices of the menu items were extremely reasonable for the portion size, preparation, and taste. Ambience and decor wise, It felt like some weird karaoke disco with multi colored lights and chinese lanterns adorned near the centerfold. And off brand "club mix" versions of songs playing, being two or three octave higher with a faster beat. Overall, it's an okay place to hang out while waiting for your ride to avoid being soaked in the rain. Would I return? Yes, as this seems to be the only Place open on a Sunday in this strip, asides from TeaArias. Would I recommend? Unlikely. read more

I am happy this place survived COVID. It's sad to see many restaurants (and small businesses) go out of business. I've been going to this pho place for a couple of years, and it has always been consistently good. I usually get the bun bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup) or the traditional pho. There are also fried rice and noodle dishes for the kiddos. This is a very convenient location for those of us in the north HB area. The restaurant is huge with ample seating, never a wait-list. The staff is friendly. Take the family out here for a comforting bowl of noodle soup, fried rice, and other Vietnamese favorites. read more
