I have been eating PHo here forever and I love the owner V, always very kind, friendly and warm, the food is awesome!!!

Food is gross. I ordered a veggie pho and veggie spring rolls. Both came with Tofu when the menu doesn't disclose that. My daughter is allergic to tofu and I ordered the spring rolls for her. Also my HOT pho soup came in styrofoam. I've only ever had one other pho place do that. This restaurant must be to cheap that they can't afford reasonable take out wear. I promise I try some of my best food when traveling and making that swerve she seeing something that just speaks to me and says 'let's see what they got cooking' And so I went into this place to order something on the menu that peeked my interest because it's something I have recently tried a lot of here lately ... but first let me say ... when did coconut become the number one fruit of the Century because it seems like every time you turn around there's coconut milk there's coconut cream there's coconut flour there's coconut sugar .... there is coconut in so many different forms coconut oil, coconut water ...I can go on and on and on and the fact still remains the same When did coconut become so popular and how were they able to bust this little hairy looking pod down to so many different things... what happened to the good old Apple; any how ... So since coming a crossed there's coconut craze I decided to try at home making rice and pouring a little coconut cream over it, sometimes even adding a bit of mango and so when I went to this restaurant I saw on their menu that they had a sticky rice with coconut sweet milk and mango pieces and I said to myself well look I can just buy it now without having to make it ...so I go in and first find that the place is a ghost town ... which is a mistake on my part...when there is no cars in the lot that means the business is not that good .... and when I say ghost town I mean I couldnt even find employees.... I had to open and close the front door a couple of times before the cashier/cook/waitress appeared .... so I purchase it and I wait for a little bit before I opened it because I was getting it to go because I was on the run and had a want for dessert so when I did finally open it I found that all of the milk had poured out into the bag because the milk was too runny when it should've been a little heavier like a coconut cream or some of that coconut condensed milk ... but no it was a sip away from coconut water ... The rice itself was a huge sticky glob of wet rice ... I mean like the the if rice you find in Mochi or in Asian rice cakes but without the outer shell and very wet and more like soaked sticky mess... I was so not impressed ... and even the mango was super soft and mushy in clumps over the top of the rice so thy everything seemed slimy To the restaurant -please try to make sure there is someone there for ordering and sit down - invest in containers with lids to avoid a milk or sauce spill in the bag - sticky rice should be rice where it's still in speedster grains but slightly sticky and firm enough For review readers ... do check out my review on the sister restaurant next door because they have amazing Vietnamese subs read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE!! I walked in on 08/09/20 at 8:35 pm. 25 minutes before they closed to get two sandwiches. They have everything blocked off at the front doors, so I stood there for over 5 minutes watching the 3 people in the back cleaning. With in that 5 minutes each of them looked up at me and then just went back to whatever it was they were doing. None of them acknowledged me at all and just went about their cleaning. I stood there for over minutes being ignored before I just left. I will never return to eat there ever again. With the economy and the Covid crisis and restrictions in place they cannot afford to lose business because they don't want to acknowledge a customer 25 minutes before they close. First time here it was pretty good service was a little slow but I could see there was only one person. I like that they offer more than just pho like sandwiches which I will try next time. I got spring rolls and I loved the peanut sauce. Got the one cold Vermicelli noodles with beef shrimp and egg rolls. I think they threw pork in or the chicken was really overcooked. I stopped in for some lunch while I was waiting for a flat tire to be repaired nearby. The owners/staff were friendly and helpful. The place is definitely authentic, not "Americanized". The menu is lengthy. My crab meat soup took a little longer than expected, but it was worth it. The staff really did make an effort to ensure I was happy with my meal--which I was. This establishment served us spoiled shrimp and meat. The shrimp was so "fishy" and meat so old that I couldn't finish it. Pho broth was a little sweeter than I'm used to... just didn't taste right. Silverware and dishes were dirty. We asked for clean ones and it was no cleaner. A couple hours later my daughter felt sick and spent the rest of the day near the toilet. The service was okay. This is a really awesome pho spot. Went in for the first time tonight with my toddler about 8 pm, it wasn't busy. Sat down and was greeted right away and got drinks. I ordered spring rolls and seafood pho, and orange chicken for my little one. About halfway through the spring rolls (which were awesome) my tiny human started to show signs of an eminent meltdown, so i asked for a box, our server came back with the box quickly and let us know that he'd get the kitchen to put the rest of our meal in to-go containers so we could split. This is just, so nice. I think all parents can share my appreciation for little things like this when our kids are not on their best behavior . Now, happily eating at home, this seafood pho is the best I've ever had. It's a really generous portion and my 3 year old hi-jacked it from me. We order delivery from this place all the time and absolutely love it! The meatball pho and fried rice are our go to items. We also really enjoy their spring rolls and dumplings. It's by far the best Vietnamese delivery option in the east valley. It's funny, we've never stepped foot inside the restaurant (I don't even know where it's located) but I have recommended it several times to folks in the area. We have three different pho spots within a mile of our place but pay the extra delivery fee to get Pho Lotus because the food is so much better. I highly recommend it! read more

Contacted Eat24 twice to get status. Food arrived in cool to warm condition. Taste was not appealing. Threw out the majority of the food. I've only ever ordered the Pho here (delivered) but it's always super tasty and the portion is large enough that o have two meals from it! I actually despise review sites and have seen them abused. So, I'm super conflicted writing this. There was a "Help Wanted" poster on the window. I walked in and the place is dirty. Multiple tables left uncleared the whole time I was there. I decided not to drink the water and just get a canned soda. There were only two people working: one lady in the kitchen and one guy doing everything else (waiting the tables, the only to-go guy, the only guy at the register, the only bus boy, etc.) He seemed super frazzled and stressed understandably. I thought about leaving, but I felt bad and wanted to give them a chance. He was REALLY nice. He cleared off a noodle covered high chair half way for my baby to sit in. I ordered plain pho, just noodles and no meat. I figured I couldn't get food poisoning if I had no meat and at least the broth would have been cooked enough for no germs. A couple bites in, I see a dead cockroach floating in my pho. I didn't react. I felt SO bad for this man and woman. I thought about asking for it to go, and then throwing it away a couple blocks down the road. However, cockroaches are my number one most gross thing in the world to me. When I got up to the register to pay, he looked me in the eyes, and he looked so sad when he asked if everything was okay. I couldn't tell him the truth. So, I lied, said something came up at work, paid, tipped, and got out of there. If you don't like cockroaches in your food, don't come here. One word to describe this place DISGUSTING. I went today with my boyfriend and the place has gone down the toilet. Firstly when we go there we had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Then when I went to the bathroom there was no soap which is a big red flag. When I went back to my table I looked at my water there was a bug in the middle of my water. I would of snapped a picture but I left as soon as I saw that nasty bug. I will never be returning after that disturbing experience. read more

This is one of the best Pho restaurants that I've been to. Not crowded, but I think that's only because it's brand new. They still have a grand opening sign in front. Once the word gets around, this place will be crowded. Service was great - prompt and very friendly. We had Fried tofu, coconut lemongrass and chicken soup and chicken Pho - all delicious. And we saw a couple of repeat customers come in go while we were there. You can tell they are repeat customers because they knew the owners names. This place was recommended to me by a friend who had a great experience. I, on the other hand, had a terrible experience. The male server was rude. To start off with we ordered the veggie rolls for an appetizer and then we each ordered a bowl of pho. When the spring rolls came out, they weren't the veggie ones but the ones with shrimp. We informed him, politely, that we ordered the veggie one and he agreed with us for a moment saying, telling us we said shrimp. First off, my brother is allergic to shrimp so we would never. He took the spring rolls back to remake. The pho was okay but not as flavorful as I was expecting. It needed a lot of soy sauce, Siracha, ect. When we were almost halfway done with the pho, the spring rolls came out and they were so ridiculous. No more shrimp. BUT it only had lettuce (pretty sure it was just romaine) and rice noodles inside. There were literally no other veggies and it was pathetic to say the least. Didn't even finish them. Had to interrupt my meal to write this. Was not expecting this to be so good. The beef special Pho is perfect. Noodles are plenty and good generous with the meats. Tripe is cooked just right. The flank is nice and tender and the meatballs are dense and tasty [and yes I'm talking about the food food]. What happened, Pho Lotus??? The quality of your food went down. I always get the Grilled Pork n Egg Roll Vermicelli Salad n a couple weeks ago, it was not that great -- the pork was not grilled. It tasted very cheap and different marinade. Also, quality of salad ingredients was lower than usual. I used to love your food. Now I have to find a new Vietnamese place. read more

I wanted to venture out and see if there were other Vietnamese restaurants I liked better than SaDec Bistro and UnPHOgettable... but no. Big mistake. Waste of money. I won't be doing that again just to save a few miles on my drive. Rare steak pho - edible. Not delicious. Orange chicken - disgusting Tofu pad Thai - yuck! Tasted like it had ketchup sauce on it. So sad to see this had 4 stars and usually I go for a place that has a lot higher number of reviews but thought no I will just try it out. Never again. If you're ordering from them... the pho broth containers are flimsy and absolutely not well put together. Literally had broth from both of my containers in the bag -- thank god they wrap them separately. I'm not entirely sure what I ate in one of the shrimp spring rolls either, but the lettuce was browning and there was something hard that caused my gum to bleed after getting stuck between my teeth. I will say, other than the painful and messy situation from obvious lack of quality investments on their end, the peanut sauce was decent. So, like, good luck in the future.
