Today I had a craving for Vietnamese lemongrass chicken (this is typically grilled chicken). I decided to give Pho Lotus a try because it was convenient for hubby to pick up on his way home. I ordered online - specifically "lemongrass chicken plate, with shrimp (paid $3.00 for shrimp), served with cucumber, lettuce and tomato ". I ended up with a disgusting-looking chicken dish (looks like it was sauteed with carrots, broccoli and zucchini), served with rice. The worst part? No $3.00 shrimp!!! Some might say it was hubby's fault for not reviewing the food when he picked it up (yeah, yeah, I already screamed at him!). But isn't it the merchant's responsibility to cook what the customer ordered and paid for - and to aldo make sure that the food handed to the customer is the correct food? Sloppy customer service is a mild way to describe their service. And oh, hubby's grilled pork banh mi was not good either. The bread was too hard (like old, stale bread is when you re-toast it), and the pork was dry. read more

This place is unacceptable. The pho is oily and has bad meat parts. The bbq pork has bad parts / too much gristle. Portions were unusually skimpy and I'm not the type of dude that cares too much if I'm not given a lot of food. I'm pretty thin. The gentleman manning the floor can't seem to balance 3 customers at a time, 2 of them being take out and the other 1 being us, the only seated guests. We waited over 20 minutes for the check after being done eating. Wtf? Just no. Especially, there are plenty of other Viet places in the area that are good - AZ Pho, SaDec, etc. There is no chance that we will return here. read more

Service wise, this place is welcoming and friendly. The inside is kind of small but cozy. I went to lunch with a friend and we both had the combination phở. I can speak for myself and I wasn't impressed. The broth was bland and had somewhat of a bitter taste, my guess is that they use daikon in their soup and sometimes that can happen. The rare steak was clumped together and didn't quite add to the taste because they weren't able to seep in the soup. Both of us had the iced Vietnamese coffee, and we both thought it was way too sweet. Overall a mediocre experience, but I will try again another time and will update this review accordingly. read more

I ordered a Togo order for me and my young kids. I got the chicken pho, which was absolutely delicious. I ordered a chicken Pad Thai for my kids to share. It was a giant portion but very little chicken and they added a whole lot of white and green onion. We do not like onion at all. I have never had white onion come in my pad Thai before and it was a little disappointing for me but I'm sure some people love onion. read more

Seriously, this place is gross. There was barely anybody eating there and I now understand why. The pho I ordered was not really good at all. There was barely any meat at all. I'm deducting a star because it's been like that for the past 8 months no matter when I visit. Reminds me of the old restaurant dash game where they always seem behind and overwhelmed. --- It's a mom and pop shop with kids running around. Honestly you can't get more authentic than that. Saw their page on Facebook and it had a 4.8 review, which I'm starting to think they're just friends with the owners. We went to try this place out on Sunday while their 50% deal was still going on, unfortunately we were misinformed, it was only 50% off PHO entrées only. We ordered spring rolls, egg rolls, Tom yum soup, and two beef combo phosphorus, as well as a lemonade and two waters. PROS: BRISKET, TENDONS, AND PHO NOODLES WERE GOOD. LEMONGRASS TOM YUM SOUP was also good. I think it was the owner who came out and asked us how everything was and she had a little chat with me about that was in the Tom yum soup to make it so delicious. CONS: -service was slow even though we were the only people there, and our server didn't know the menu (it was her second day) but she should have been trained better... -egg rolls were not what we were use to, it had a different texture and taste, not meaty with glass noodles in it like I'm use to, theirs had like daikon and other veggies with almost no pork in it? -spring rolls, rice paper were really dry and found an eyelash stuck to it on the inside, also really small. -I asked if mushrooms were in the Tom yum and they said yes, but then they ran out? -pho broth was also not something I was use to, it had like a nutmeg/Saigon cinnamon flavor to it, for me it was bitter and I didn't care for it. - all of our dishes and plates had alot of wear and tear, the white plates had black smudges all over them? Maybe they got the plates from the last owners of the place, but they definitely weren't new. So all in all, I don't think we will come back, definitely wasn't our cup of tea. Came here after the gym. As it's right next to the gym. Convenience wise good for me. I did not try the pho over here, but I tried the traditional rice dish with pork slices. I would say it's pretty good and would probably eat it again if I had a craving. Lots of flavor in the pork and they have fish sauce and a spicy sauce that made it even better. Pretty good amount to fill you up after working out. Pricing was on the higher side, might have been around $9. Cashier was friendly. Parking is not an issue. Main issue is you might have to wait a little bit, so maybe try ordering ahead of time before coming here if you want to pick up. Took around 25 to 30 minutes waiting to get my food. I would come here just because of the convenience, location, and the food with regards to the rice dish is actually decent. I would wish the price would be cheaper and the wait time would be faster. Love their soup here! Been coming here for about a year and cannot go anywhere else for pho. A fresh side plate of jalapenos, cilantro, basil and bean sprouts with the soup. On the side was the usual sprouts, jalapeño, basil plate. BUT they also brought out a plate with mint leaves, and daikon and carrot sticks! I really hoped to this place would workout. At the lunch rush, we were the only ones there. The soy sauce bottle on the table had clear liquid in it that wasn't soy sauce. If you read my other reviews yelp you will see mostly 5 stars. This review is only being written as a warning NOT to go here. I love restaurants and trying new things... and we love Pho! So we decided to try something new... But if you are reading and thinking the same thing... you need to keep looking for somewhere else to eat!!! This isn't a safe place to eat in its current conditions or management. Super disappointing and unsafe place to choose to eat at... I wish people understood we vote with our hard earned dollars. First glances seemed like it was humble little spot... which sometimes means you are in for a real treat. Not. This. Time. I started getting scared when I saw that the waiter had an open wound on his hand. But then another lady served us so I let it go... but then as the food came out... and my 5 year old asked why they had such big spiders!! When I looked over it wasn't a spider but a cockroach crawling on the back of our booth and dumbstruck we saw another start climbing our table. Obviously we left. But overall everything is run down and they aren't respectful of people's health. There was at least 6 kids eating there. Horrible. read more

I was too lazy to cook so decided to try a new pho place. I ordered well done brisket pho, tofu spring rolls, and a Vietnamese coffee. The Vietnamese coffee tasted weird. Not enough coffee flavor and I don't think they used condensed milk. It tasted like some cheap creamer and artificial sugar with some instant coffee. The pho was mediocre at best. Most disappointing thing is that there were 5 slivers of chewy meat and the noodles were mushy. As for the tofu rolls, they were okay. They were kinda small with a small slice of tofu but it was still better than the pho. I'm going back to my usual spot for Vietnamese food. read more

Went for pho and was very disappointed. Waitress wasn't friendly or very attentive, we where the only 3 people in restaurant the entire time. Place was very unclean and I'm mad that I didn't walk out but reviews where good. Metal napkin holders at each table where dirty and we asked waitress to clean ours before we used it. Table was dirty so I wiped it off and condiment bottles were dirty. Table next to us had dirty dishes from previous customers and those dishes sat there during our entire visit. The Pho was good but honestly the restaurant is so filthy. It was hard for me to sit there in the booth and think about eating the food. The walls had sauce, goop, and flung food stuck to it all next to my face. The air vents in the ceiling were black from caked on filth and dust from at least a years worth of neglect. The table next to me wasn't being picked up after so after the people left it was just a bunch of leftovers, and half eaten food sitting there right next to me in my sight. They didn't come and pick it up the dirty table the entire time I was there but were quick to grab the tip on the table. It's hard for me to believe the kitchen is clean or the staff having hygienic habits. It's a shame because the pho was not bad at all. :( read more

I can't believe I haven't tried this place sooner!!! Delicious chicken pho, they used rotisserie style chicken not the sliced chicken breast. The soup had a delicious flavor, they don't have a kids menu but they were able to make a side of fried rice for my toddler. I had to try it and the fried rice was also delicious. Food is gross. I ordered a veggie pho and veggie spring rolls. Both came with Tofu when the menu doesn't disclose that. My daughter is allergic to tofu and I ordered the spring rolls for her. Also my HOT pho soup came in styrofoam. I've only ever had one other pho place do that. This restaurant must be to cheap that they can't afford reasonable take out wear.
