Went here with a friend! The broth for my Pho was actually really tasty. I just love it when a pho place gets their broth on point! The bowls are decent sized, the site almost forgot my drink :/ I'd try it again, always good pho in the valley (thank gosh)

Ever since one of my favorite dessert places, Miss Dessert, became this restaurant, I've been wanting to try it. I also saw some videos of the food on TikTok, and I am a sucker for those videos. So, I finally got the chance last Friday. I ordered the Huda Special Pho, and the Huda BBQ with pork chop and shrimp to go. I have to say I was a bit surprised by the price. They charged $3 extra for the to go box, so the total for the 2 dishes was $45. I have to say, the portions were pretty good. The pho was just ok, nothing spectacular. The bbq was really good though.

Decided to give this new spot a try. I will say that the ingredients tasted fresh. I'm just not a fan of pho broth that's on the sweeter side. Don't bother adding any hoisin sauce to the broth because it's already quite sweet. The sriracha I added didn't balance the sweetness enough for either when I tried that. Service was prompt and friendly. They took over the Miss Desert spot so it's small and cozy inside. If you like this style of pho, then by all means try it out but it's just not for me.

We really enjoyed the meal here. The pho broth was legit and all the additions were fresh and tasty. The meats, especially the brisket were great. The spring rolls were really tasty and fresh. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed the music they had playing. Great addition to Gilbert.

Small space but kept clean. Service was quick and friendly. The food was tasty but the menu doesn't have a lot of options. My boyfriend ordered his broth spicy but it wasn't spicy at all. The price is very reasonable and would go back here again.

I've only ever come for the pho and bun bo hue. Definitely the best spot for Vietnamese food in the Gilbert area. Not a fan of tripe, but they do offer it in both pho and bun bo hue, which is something you don't see often out in AZ. Good portions and every time I've gone, I've gotten a good portion of meat in my soup.

First time to Huda, food ok. I ordered Bun Bo Hue. Barely any noodles. I'm still hungry after eating.

    06. COMBINATION PHO-

We ordered two of the combination pho which is supposed to have "Steak, Brisket, Meatballs, Tripe, Tendon, Green Onion, White Onion & Cilantro" according to the menu, neither pho had the extra ingredients (proteins) included. When ordering a rice plates they said that they had also run out of rice. Upon calling to aware them of the situation their line was busy.

Huda Pho cooked this food. Rotten meat, smelled like fish. Water tasted dirty. Be aware.

The food is absolutely fire.I can't call it the most fine dining Vietnamese , however for what I was expecting vs what I got into, this is absolutely going to be at minimum a once a month visit for me for a long time. I can't wait to try the other menu items. I came with my girlfriend and she also really loved the pho and service . The sweet waitress also called my girlfriend very pretty (she's right) Also you may have seen 100% bring cash. I would've been a bit disappointed if I didn't and I'm very lucky to have had cash on me. I went back and forth with the worker about the signs saying "pay cash save $3" but she kept asking me to check her math. She said if it was card it would be an extra $3. I told her that a credit card fee (that's not stated anywhere) is not the same as saving $3 in cash. When I asked for the cash back to pay with card she refused to give me the cash back. When I asked her to show me how she would charge the extra $3 she didn't know how (makes me believe she was lying over the cash price being lower). Overall the food is decent but I can get good soup at plenty of other places and not be lied to and robbed by their staff.

When our grandsons and their Dad came by later that day, I asked them if they were willing to try Vietnamese food. We gave them a description as to what Pho was and let them know that there were other items on the menu besides Pho. They all were willing to give it a try. One grandson didn't come along as he has a part-time job and had to work that day. Once we all entered the restaurant, we were greeted and seated. I ordered my usual Pho Ga and my husband plus our son-in-law also had the same thing. One grandson ordered a Pho that had beef in it. The other grandson isn't a fan of soups so he ordered a fried rice and chicken meal. The Pho portion was very generous and the aromatics were fresh. Everyone who had Pho enjoyed their meal. Our grandson, who got the chicken and fried rice, liked his meal. The ambiance is that of a casual place with some artwork on the walls. If we lived nearby, we would gladly go here again. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing.

Upon entering, I saw many Asian people dining here, which is typically a good sign. We ordered the brisket pho, banh khot, and canh chua. The brisket pho was not bad, but the broth tasted off to me. I can't put my finger on it but the herbs kinda helped mask it. The brisket itself was delicious and tender. The banh khot was decent as expected. Some parts were crispy but others weren't. It was missing a "wow" factor. The canh chua was my favorite. It was huge! Overall, all the portions are pretty big here, which sorta makes up for the prices. An old man who was serving us realized we were Vietnamese and spoke to us. He was really sweet and funny. Overall, I wouldn't order the pho and banh khot again because they weren't that good to me. I've had better in Houston and Westminster. I might return for the canh chua or other dishes since they have a big menu.

The first time I had it, I actually couldn't stop thinking about it because I was genuinely surprised with how good it was. I also noticed that they are very consistent with the taste of the broth. Usually when I get pho, the broth doesn't always taste the same but here at Saigon it does. The broth is very rich and savory. I also noticed they add a lot of noodles which I love but I also wish they added more broth. The meat is also very tender, I always go with the brisket and it always tastes great. I personally like my soup to have extra green onion, unfortunately if you do ask for extra there is a charge of $2. I also recommend the egg rolls, they're packed with flavor and honestly it's just a good appetizer to have before your pho. The restaurant itself is beautiful and very spacious. Every time I've gone there's never any wait. The service has also been great, I've had maybe 1 time where it wasn't as great but it was still good. The food always comes out fresh and very hot. They basically said it was our fault and still charged us for the untouched dish. So just to confirm: you can serve dirty dishes and still get paid? That is a interesting business model, I've never seen anything like it! Then they hit us with a 20% service fee, which is honestly kind of iconic considering the service was: * ignoring customers * denying what we clearly told them * and charging us anyway Like... thank you for the experience I guess??? And to top it off, after I actually ate there, I had the worst stomach ache and diarrhea. So NOT only do you pay for food you don't eat, you might also leave with a free health issue! LOVE THAT!!! As someone who is Vietnamese, this was just embarrassing. You expect better standards, better hospitality, and at the very least... clean bowls??? Overall, if you enjoy paying for untouched food, being gaslit, and risking your stomach, this is your place. Otherwise, I'd look for somewhere else to eat.
