Tasty blended milk teas (try taro flavor!) and good pho. I work on post and call to place my order before leaving, it is almost always ready when I arrive ~10 minutes later! Give this place a try.

I wish I would have read the reviews prior to ordering Grubhub . I ordered a banh mi sandwich and it came with pickles, mustard and some very dry chicken. I have never in my life have had mustard or pickles in my banh mi sandwich which before and I don't recommend it. The bread was incredibly hard to chew as well.

An authentic Vietnamese restaurant that was packed two of the times I went there. The quality of the food is on par with the quantity, both of which were above average. I had to get mine to go both times at lunch, and I suspect dinner is probably a good wait too. It's fairly small seating inside and a little too crowded for me, so I opted take out. Needless to say, I was not disappointed with the prices or service, although I did wait, which I expected upon entry. I give it a five star rating because the food was genuinely tasteful and very plentiful, and the prices were really reasonable.

First off, I will say that the parking here is kind of weird as it's not really storefront. It's angled parking and it's just off the street so it's kind of weird turning in. The parking lot is clean and there is only one handicapped spot which doesn't look full ADA compliant, but whatever. This fusion restaurant has a fresh and clean look and has a lot of tables. I ordered the # 21's. Yes, I said 21's. I got a #21 tofu pho and #21 veggie fried rice to go. I also ordered a pineapple bubble juice as they call it here with coconut jellies. I used the bathroom while by ordered was being prepared and the bathroom is for one person only with a locking door. One thing I noticed after sitting back down to my pho is that practically everything is eco-friendly or at least is labeled as such. The toilet, which you can see in the pics, has an option to flush with more water or just a small amount. I noted that it has one water drop and two water drops for what I guess to be #1 or #2, if you know what I mean *wink nudge*. The napkin holders and the bubble juice cups are also labeled for eco-friendliness. Although, they have their to-go boxes as Styrofoam, so not totally eco-friendly. Anyway, the place is called Pho Lewis, right? So why not talk about the pho. I admit it was not the best pho I've had, but I will say it had an original taste. Not a bad taste by any means. I guess it could grow on me. It just didn't seem to have the same seasoning as the normal pho joints I go to, but again it was nice to taste what seemed to be an original recipe. WARNING: There are two sizes, medium and large. The medium is very large compared to other places. The tofu was decent but I've had better, but they did put a super large amount of everything in the pho (veggies, tofu, noodles, etc). One thing that kind of made me roll my eyes though is how small the add-in plate was (Thai Basil, bean sprouts, jalapenos, lime plate). There was one small branch of basil with 4 leaves on it and maybe two tablespoons of bean sprouts. I like a lot of bean sprouts. The bubble tea was actually really good, as were the jellies, so I would go just for the bubble teas if I was craving one. I would get the pho again as well but this would not be my first choice in pho restaurants. Aside from this though, this place has a large amount of items on the menu (sandwiches, vermicelli, rice, bowls, Vietnamese sandwiches, pho, & other things) The have Free wifi just ask for the password & they have two big screen TVs. It also seems to be a family affair here as an older lady plucks Thai basil from the plant and prepares the mix in plates, one lady runs the dining room and the register and what seems to be her sister is running the kitchen. This place can get busy at lunch due to the base soldiers going on lunch, so be aware of that.

This place is amazing. The pho taste so good but I gave 5 stars because there was so much rice and the price was so cheap. The rice was also so good. I'm definitely gonna eat here again.

Great vegetable pho. Their chicken sandwich is delicious too! I also really like their chicken noodle salad.

YESSS!! This is THE place for Vietnamese food! They are indeed authentic!…read more I have been missing the smell and taste of staple Vietnamese dishes ever since I moved out of California a few months ago. I used to receive Mom's vietnamese home cooking frequently and I lived near the Asian hubbubs with easy access to all the cuisine, but now I have to discover new places here in Washington to satiate my taste buds. Everything I've tried so far has been good. I've been content. But here!! I ordered takeout through Doordash, and as soon as I picked up my food, an aroma of so many flavors filled up my car. Parking is kinda annoying since it's on the street but I arrived within 30 mins of opening hours so it wasn't terrible yet. The restaurant already had at least a table or so, with customers, so I wouldn't be surprised if it got busier later. There's a fair amount of space and tables for hungry stomachs! The food was about ready by the time I arrived, and the 30 min drive home left me feeling famished and ready to dig in. Thankfully, I was not disappointed. Everything was packaged well so that nothing spilled during the car ride, and everything was so yummy! I ordered more than I originally intended... I was craving com tam (broken rice) and couldn't find a satisfactory place near my residence, so I drove all the way here to Tacoma.. and then I figured, I might as well order their Banh Xeo too! The photos online made it look so good, and it ended up tasting amazing! Slightly crispy and stuffed just enough with bean sprouts, meat, and other goodies. Perfect after drizzling some of the sauce over it. The Com Tam was also made well, and definitely hit my cravings with its classic ingredients. I ordered a Large Pho Bo Vien (meatball) for my son, and was sooo tempted to eat some myself. The broth smelled fresh and the noodles were cooked nicely. Decent portions for everything, too. I definitely need to return to try out more of their food. So far, it has made me one happy Viet gal :)

The sprinkley, cloudy, chilly day called for something soupy. After all the sandwiches we had…read moreduring our hikes in the Olympics over the past few days, we were feeling for Asian cuisine. We were headed to Tacoma and I came across VK Viet Kitchen on Yelp. Food looked great and reviews were plenty enough. Table is free for all as long as it's available. Once we sat down, the owner came to talk to us pretty quickly. He asked if we've eaten at the restaurant before and how we found out about them. They're a long time standing business around the area, so even on a random Wednesday lunch hour, most of the tables were full. The menu is extensive! There's a lot of menu items that are new to us, but between the three of us, we got the Green Apple Salad with Tofu (S1) and Crab Meat Fried Rolls (A18) to share. My partner got the Bun Rieu Tom Cua (V4) and my brother got the Bun Bo Hue (V3). I opted for Hu Tieu with Soup (P15). The green apple salad was pretty good. It's got a lot of tangy flavor to it because they used green apples and they mixed in a lot of apple slices. It also goes surprisingly well with the tofu and it's nice that they cut up the tofu into bigger matchsticks to match the apple slices. As for the Crab Meat Fried Rolls - these were really nicely fried. Nice, crunchy outer exterior and lots of crab meat in the inside. The pickled veggies was a nice palate cleanser. Finally, for my Hu Tieu, the soup was amazing! It's a nice, light, clear and nourishing broth. It's comforting for the chilly day. They provided a lot of pork liver, kidney, shrimp, squid, and even a quail egg in there. I like the addition of chives as well. Awesome Vietnamese restaurant to take a lunch break at. Employees were friendly and efficient. It was also really nice of the owner to talk to us and just get us comfortable. I've bookmarked this place for the next time we come visit Seattle!
